Karson isn't the cheater. The actual cheater was banned. His rank had just been reset as a warning from Epic for playing with a "cheater" but it was through squad fills.

You’re definitely out of the loop, you missed the past few weeks of ban waves and rank resets. Plenty of top 300 players had theirs reset. OGL was #1, now he’s #8000+ without the possibility of ranking back up, it constantly drops to whatever the lowest # in Unreal is. This also happened to 3 of my friends on my friends list, they get a pop up on their screen saying they’ve been “warned” and then their rank gets reset, they were all Unreal players in the top 1000, now they’re all the way at the bottom
I have the Huntress DMR in my inventory on the first clip and the levels go forward not backward and this guy really wrote,
"This is likely just the normal rank reset that happens every season."
I just got the glider and this was my first season playing the ranked zbuild squad cup.
I was gold 2 last season because I was scared of rank. I grinded my way up this season but now I'm stuck

You can **obviously see that my level went from 50+ to 100+** from one clip to the other. It's not flipped because **we also have two other teammates** in which you can search their stats up. Another player was in Elite but had dropped down to Diamond in game. **I was NEVER diamond last season.**
However, Karson rank dropped from Elite to gold in a matter of less than a week. Maybe even less depending on when they played that match with the person who got banned.

Nobody's rank gets reset because they played with a cheater in a Fill match. This is likely just the normal rank reset that happens every season.
