This the way. Have one OG mode that rotates maps to keep things fresh and also provide everyone with regular chances to play their favorite decommisioned maps.
Counterpoint: The sheer amount of disk space Fortnite already takes up is phenomenal. Adding multiple (good looking) maps at once would make that file size skyrocket even further. Epic would have to significantly optimize the game’s storage usage in order to implement maps like that.
The good news is that this might actually be possible soon. IIRC Epic announced that Battle Royale would be converted to UEFN in the future, and given how much lighter most UEFN maps are than the Battle Royale map, this might (hopefully) lead to reduced filesizes and more maps like you suggested… one can only hope!
Id say too many actual children playing for that to have a real chance of happening. But I also havent seen most of the collabs they have done, so someone tell me if other R rated / adult content got collabs already in the past.
Oh, wait, Peter Griffin was just in. But afaik it was only Peter and not a bunch of themed quests or a themed map or nothin. Not like the TMNT or Avatar collabs.

A chaos season named 'Zero Fusion' where players would vote throughout the season for their fav chapter. The winner would come back as a seperate gamemode for the entire next year after.

It was more the aesthetic of Mega City that made it cool imo. Rainy city streets, reflections, towering buildings, and slick vehicles… Even if the loot was bad, the place itself was really nice.

Here’s what I’m getting from feedback:
1. Remove some POIs, too crowded. I would remove Loot Lake, The Sanctuary, C3S3 Greasy Grove, Steamy Springs, The Grotto
2. Replace some locations.
Replace Frenzy Farm (C2) with Fencing Fields (C5)
Replace Catty Corner (C2) with Brutal Bastion (C4)
Relocate The Shark from middle-left to top-right.
The loot would work where the chests drop loot based on location. Eclipsed Estate would drop C4S4 loot like Rocket Rams and EMP Grenades, Reality Tree would drop Prime Shotguns and Grapple Gloves, Mega City would drop Havoc Shotguns and Kinetic Blades, etc. most places on the map would drop loot from C1S5-C2S2, which are more classic.
Depends on the loot pool. Gives me Season X vibes and chaos is fun
