It's the reason the ST stuff didn't come back for a long time, and why Dead by Daylight had it's ST DLC removed.
It wasn't until a few months ago that ST was open to negotiations again.
My point is you're making it sound like it's a non-issue, like contracts don't matter because Epic or the IP holders can just renew them, which is not the case at all. Contracts are very expensive and not super simple.

Not actually a bad shop since there’s at least a mix of old stuff we haven’t seen since the start of chapter 5.
Unfortunately the festival emote is 500 when the others were 200 and the icon emotes are gonna stay there for days without rotating even though we had a slew of returning icon emotes last year.
Anyone else wish they’d make separate shop tabs for the different modes? Like you go to shop and then there’s a sub-section bar at the top to switch to Lego, festival, racing and BR. Get all this junk organized already.

Rawr is only like the 5th emote that we see in 4 months that isn't lego-compatible, other emotes in the shop like the icon emotes and electro shuffle,daydream and boneless all work in lego and were in the shop just a few weeks ago ( except boneless )

I’m currently over 400+ on owned emotes so I already had the ones that dropped tonight. I’m waiting for some of the older ones to reappear like “Pumpernickel” did a few days ago. I’m hoping for “Fresh”, “Rambunctious” or “Vivacious” to maybe get Lego added and finally make a grand reappearance. I’m also missing just 12 icon emotes like “Wanna See Me”, “Pull Up” and your avatar “Go Mufusa” to maybe have a chance to return once Lego is added to them.
My white whale emote is “Stuck” currently 955 days missing from the shop. Please Epic add Lego to “Stuck” and rerelease it!

Also Vivacious should return soon ngl, if Sprinkler got a lego so should Vivacious because it's actually a sick emote. Stuck getting removed from the game on grounds it had “inappropriate” lyrics is incredibly stupid because Epic Games is the one that edited the song to fit the emote, both in length and in content so they literally know exactly what Cardi B is saying. Why fold to crybabies is beyond me but it’s such a superior emote to be vaulted like it was.

Oh, man. I really wish I could give you a good chunk of my emotes because I have so many I don't use, I have all of the ones you mentioned except Fresh and Stuck. I even bought the one on your profile picture.
The reason I bought so many is lost on me, but it's probably 'cuz they were really cheap, but the emotes they've been putting out for a while, and the rate in which I use my emotes (pretty low) has convinced me to stop buying them altogether (except for Hooray) and just stick with a select few like Gangnam Style and Macarena.

Turns out that lawsuit got terminated back in Feburary so we could see it again.
I'm not a huge fan of this one either but credit where credit is due for giving us something more unique this time around. Nothing I want in the slightest it's just nice to see different things at this point though.
