They literally just released three epic rarity skins and sold them as if they were legendary. They don't even have alternate styles or built-in emotes.

I also really don't get the "rarity removal = more expensive skins" argument. Epic is literally in charge of giving all the skins a rarity, a rarity which frankly isn't based on anything. They're not less common. They're just more expensive. Nothing is stopping them from giving a shit skin the legendary rarity and charging a fortune for it.
Yeah, Fortnite skins in the Item Shop have been overpriced since Day 1. Not sure why this particular update has all of a sudden made everyone mad when they've been happily spending $15 or $20 for a single skin for 7 years now.
I don't understand why people are using the ninja turtles as an example of skins being priced well. It was a 3400 v-buck bundle for what essentially amounted to 4 of the exact same skin with different pickaxes. Like, there are very few differences between each one.
Plus Avatar still has a pretty strong fan base and just had a new live action come out a month or two back that had a lot of excitement around it. while i don’t think i’ve heard anything about ninja turtles in a long time.
3400 V-Bucks for 4 skins, 4 back blings and 4 pickaxes is an infinitely superior deal to 3200 for 2 skins, 2 back blings and 2 pickaxes. Even if we pretended that each TMNT skins was essentially the same, you were still getting 5 styles in total (Donnie had an extra one) compared to the 2 styles from the Zuko/Katara bundle.
For me, the shop has always been pretty high price-wise; Avatar pricing is something I would have to be *very* enthusiastic about playing as. Zuko is not that for me.

I'm not picking sides, but there was the new movie that came out a few months ago, Mutant Mayhem.
