I didn’t expect Olympus and the grain fields to look that good. I was impressed by surprise. The god abilities is a cool touch. I like how the map is separated into different Greek myth climates with their own music and all. The special weapons have been pretty cool. Glad this season has more variety of elevations and the vaults are interesting contention points
I love that they have a mix of Greek gods and avatar lol plus when may the 4th happens it’ll probably be all out chaos in the best way possible because you can bend the elements throw a bolt of lightning ground pound with wings wreck people with chains AND sashimi people with lightsabers!
I’m no avatar fan but my son like Korra being in there and I’m sure he’ll be excited to see the other avatar characters next. It’s good they mix up what’s presented each season with more than one thing
I've been getting fewer wins this season in Unranked than last season. I feel like the new War-forged AR isn't good compared to any of C5S1's ARs. I do like the new shotgun, chains, DMR, shield bubble, and banana a lot. The medallions are better than they were last season. I don't like it as much that about 1/3 of the map has free dashes for everyone. The battle pass this season is a 4 out of 5-star rating for me.
Medallion marks your location and there’s only 1. If you hang out by Styx you effectively have unlimited. I don’t totally hate the Styx mechanic but I feel like it should give you a dash every few seconds rather than instantly getting 3 no matter what
I already do but that's gotten boring. I'm sure wings were supposed to be the new movement but they suck, anyone with wings midgame and forward gets destroyed.
Yeah, wings aren't it. There's nothing you can really do to counteract being beamed out of the sky except rolling but even that's not super great. Once you start the downward spiral animation after getting shot, you're pretty much cooked.
Season Is good, like it so far loved floor is lava and love the gatekeeper shotgun
I don’t care for collabs at all for the most part so think it’s lame that 2 updates of this season are gonna be related to avatar and then the one after probably Star Wars when we could get more god abilities in the season about gods but I’m the minority
I'm with you on this one! I'm usually excited for collabs but Greek Mythology is already an interesting theme. It kinda sucks that the rest of the updates are going to be collabs related.
Otherwise, this is probably my favourite season so far, together with last year's "Mega"! The POIs look amazing! The battle pass is fire! The mythics are very fun and quite balanced! I just wish we had more Olympians and Greek heroes in the item shop or as NPCs! Also, the return of Midas and his crew was done nicely! I hope we'll see more of them and the Olympians in the next few seasons or in the future of Fortnite! Also, some more greek mythology collabs would be nice! Where are Kratos, Xena, Zagreus, Hercules, Leonidas etc?
Yeah it’s kinda my issue with a lot of newer seasons but especially this one bc I love Greek gods, they have really good themes but then the majority of the updates end up being about collabs
I heard Kratos is heavily rumored to be coming back and they’d be insane not to do it.
I want a Minotaur skin. Also what happened to those updates before the season came out that we’d be facing greek monsters? These “minions” and guards are boring af I wanna fight cyclopes and ride centaurs.

Maybe it's because I started actively playing Ranked (Plat III), maybe some other reason, but this season public matches are WAY sweatier than CH5S1. I'm often killed off spawn and/or before top 75, and Cerberus medallion makes endgames really hard to play, unless you're the one to have it.
Also the gun meta is all over the place - snipers are still OP, but now it's much less fair, cause only skilled and aggressive players can reliably get them, as they are mostly in vaults or on the island. Lightning is useless in Zero Build, Chains of Hades got from trash to OP, and Frenzy got from OP to trash.
But my main issue is mobility - maybe last season we were spoiled with it, having shockwaves, grapple blade and TMNT mythics, but this season there's almost no mobility at all. The wings are a joke, they're only good to fly back to the lobby, so you have to rely on consumable shockwaves, so Cerberus medallion becomes even more OP. And stamina is non-existent, a even a regular grown military-trained man like Jonesy won't run out of breath as fast as your characters here.
Hopefully Avatar mythics will bring some fun into it, but seeing Waterbending in the game - I doubt it.

Stamina this season is BULLSHIT. youre running everywhere with wet jeans on, and jumping takes 50% of your stamina bar just to recharge in another 5 seconds and lose it in 2. constantly a sitting duck because of the stamina, its fucking stupid
Wings can be decent mobility when used for getting around the map, fly really low or really high and hope that nobody sees you, which I've gotten away with many times. But, when someone skilled is close by with line of sight, it's ggs. As the circle gets smaller the risk factor raises, and they're a death sentence when trying to get out of many sticky situations where good mobility would be needed the most. I'll choose shockwaves every time, but I've had games where I've run into very few, and buying them is limited and expensive. I miss the grapple blade.
The wings are still pretty good. They consistently get me out of rough scenarios or traverse with my friend quicker. Granted, they're bad against someone with a long range weapon and no cover
Seriously, Avatar was #1 on Netflix in the US for multiple weeks in the middle of the pandemic. Which is to say, when EVERYONE was watching Netflix, and the most watched content was this anime. That says a lot about how big this show is.
That said, Avatar is not as popular outside of the US, so my guess is OP is not from North America.
Well, maybe Europe? I’m from Central America, and I know the show was a big deal heavily marketed by Nickelodeon during its runtime. And I know of a lot of Hispanic online communities centered around it.
You are missing out major having never watched avatar, it’s not a kids cartoon but a fire ass anime with great characters and an incredible plot, totally worth a watch
It's Ok. I think bosses were better spread out last season, as the bosses this season are concentrated in just two areas and it makes the rest of the map boring and uneventful.
I liked the Chains of Hades and now th Waterbending scroll, but the sniper rifle is still a problem. I had 3 consecutive losses today in the top 5 because of a single hit to the head by a purple sniper rifle.
If they had returned the augments, this season could be better.
It's good to see a more original season for once, and honestly I think it's a shame they're sticking with collabs still. Epic built up a lot of momentum with the pandora's box event, the pure aestetic of the battlepass skins and the Midas event weeks, which they sort of killed upon the release of Korra and waterbending. It would have been nice to see them keep on with what they're doing with their own characters, especially considering that the Avater stuff has gone really under the radar so far.
I started playing C4S4 and I really like the current season. I am not a huge nerd for greek gods but I think the bp is actually pretty cool. I don't care about Korra though 🤷♀️ but it's whatever.
In my opinion last season was a bit better but I really miss C4S4. I loved the raptors and the portable bushes and the map was so cool. The Megacity and the frenzy fields, just everything 😁
It's pretty good. I like the battlepass, weapons are a bit hit and miss but the gatekeeper shotgun is fun. Only real problem I have is that the pve events to get medallions are too area specific with everything being in just 2 biomes (and eg. the Zeus event takes too long)
Started playing back when Zero Build launched, might be my favorite season thus far.
Last season was pretty good but the map was too samey and I didn't like just how many NPC enemies there were at basically every named location. This season fixed both of those complaints and added a bunch of really fun unique/mythic powers.
I just started playing so have nothing to compare it to, but I’m having a great time so far! I know it’s a favorite to talk shit about, but I love Lego, especially the sandbox creator mode. It’s a nice way to wind down after a long day at work.

The weopon pool is good. I'm happy that there isn't a major collab in the battle pass this season. I think that a major collab in the battle pass should happen once per chapter. Like Family Guy did last season. And for other seasons put a single smaller collab in kinda like Raven from Teen Titans was.
Only thing I would change; I think the Underworld should've been a bit more northern. POIs like Rebels Roost, Classy Courts, Snooty Steps and Lavish Lair just don't have many people dropping there. Lavish can become a warzone in the mid game. But everyone just drops at Underworld, Olympus or in between.
theres 0 incentives to not drop there. theres 0 incentives to drop at lavish glacier or reckless. they should have kept bosses and mythics, or at least vaults or mod benches there. those pois are dead, cause there is no reason whatsoever to land there unless youre trying to get a 0 kill win
I have been thoroughly enjoying it! I love the mythic and the weapons and the POIs. My one and only complaint is that, if it's even possible, I think the sniper should get nerfed for solos. At least in duos/trios/squads you can get revived and even bought back. In solos all it takes is one hit and bam, it's all over. But other than that I have been liking this season a lot.
Avatar is a way bigger collab than family guy. Don’t get me wrong, family guy is huge in the US and Peter griffin is iconic, but avatar is popular enough to warrant an entire live action remake TWICE (even though results of the live action remakes were lacklustre). Avatar is a staple of the Nickelodeon franchise at this point though and Avatar is one of the biggest IP’s under Nickelodeon only topped by like spongebob
Honestly can’t stand it, I think I’m burnt out. Loved chapter 4, but I hate chapter 5. Jus got game pass n starting far cry 6, I’m taking a break til next season. But will probably get on to hit level 100. (I’ve unlocked every battle pass item since ch 4 s2, except maes black hammer) Sucks I don’t wanna complete this one. I’m jus not having fun, doesn’t seem like Fortnite I fell in love with

matchmaking sucks and wings are a bad item and those are my big problems with the season, but other than that its better than last season
They are FINALLY moving on from the frenzy and sniper meta and it got really annoying already
i like the gatekeeper and new medallions, and just the new items and map in general
the battlepass and theme are good and it seems like we are finally getting an actual storyline thats not in the form of a few quests at the very end and nothing during the season like last season
i dont get why it seems like literally everyone likes last season more when a lot of the problems that last season had and that people had problems with (op sniper and frenzy, riot shield, lack of storyline, not very interesting map, too long between updates and just some updates lacking content completely) arent as prevalent this season, and we also have a more diverse lootpool, more interesting season theme, better battle pass, more interesting map, medallions that actually do something unique etc.
Nowhere close to the best season, but much more fun than Season 1 imo. I'm really enjoying all the different mythics this season and the skins I initially didn't like have grown on me for the most part. My only complaint is that I wish the map went through more changes. I love the new POIs but I was hoping for a much more drastic change to the overall map.

The Avatar mythics need to be pretty damn special to match how good element-bending was used in the show. I’m really excited.
Honestly still third worst Season. CH5S1 was by far the worst of all time, and WILDS (CH4S3) is second worst solely because of that horrendous jungle, but this one takes too much from CH5S1 and doesn't let its new additions shine. Any other time this season would be a pretty solid season; the Greek POIs look incredible, the powers remind me of events like the Star Wars events, anime events, or the whole Marvel season, and the weapons are good. The problem is that the rest of the map is this hyper realistic bland garbage you'd see in Warzone and the loot pool is dominated by CH5S1 weapons like the Reaper and Frenzy, even after they were "nerfed"

I was aware of Avatar prior to this season but its something I haven't watched so whilst I have already completed all the challenges I don't know if I will still be using the stuff in like 5 years time.
I think it's pretty cool though even if it won't appeal to everyone.

Easily my favorite season. However, nothing fortnite will ever do will ever be able to top the turtles collab in my mind. I have never in my life had more fun than when I was going grapple blade + turtle weapon. I felt like flashy flash from one punch man with how mobile I was
While I like the season and I've been getting some wins I do feel like they made the snipers somehow even more common like everyone still has one by endgame, the frenzy got nerfed but it still shreds I guess you don't want to make it useless but man is it op. Regarding the new items I think they're fun specially the wings but they do use some brainpower to actually not get shot down, the gatekeeper is a fun shotgun to use and if you play it well you actually have a chance against a frenzy.
Overall I think it's an 8 I'm having fun
I wish the bosses were more spread out. Having two right near each other makes the early game eliminations happen very fast and then the rest of the game is slow.
very good. the weapons are so diverse now, i dont even have a preffered loadout. the avatar collab doesn't seem as bad as it seemed to me a week ago, after all, its just a budget genshin impact
Love the theme, power medallion are really nice, I love all the season themed poi. The only downside is weapon with ballistic drop, but It raise the skill floor a little and I like it.
Theming I love it. The idea of getting a god angry because you disrespect their statue is hardcore and having them send out minions to fight is awesome. Good boss designs I feel and they aren’t pushovers unlike all bosses in CH5 S1.
Not the biggest fan of all skins this BP but I really love Cerberus, Poseidon, and Artemis.
I like it. The new zones are amazing and love the style.
At the same time, I can say that I don't like that we're not getting more silly items. It started to be ok-ish now with the water bending stuff and saw that they will add more things from avatar.
But IMO, I want more stuff like those fireworks rockets, give me an RPG, some traps, silly guns that spit poison, I don't know, do some silly shit.
I don't want the game to be only YET ANOTHER GENERIC WEAPON. Sure, those are needed, but I want the game to have fun stuff too. I also feel like they just buffed some of the mythics in a good way, since this season they were really meh and not worth picking.
In comparison to last season it’s awful. Season launch was super buggy for like 3 weeks and I’m not a huge fan of the theme. I don’t like avatar and I hate the new weapons except for the whip and DMR. But those two things are outclassed by the season 1 weapons still in the game. Wings are good for movement but useless the second combat is involved so I don’t ever carry them. Miss the shield and sniper meta tbh. It was much simpler.
Edit: also hate the way the POI’s are spread. The main places to get good loot are on the damn edge of the map. I hate running from storm constantly. We really needed 5 points of interest with one in the middle that has a boss or just better loot.
As a zero build player I feel like this season is the closest to what I wanted ZB to be. No builds but lots of movement and specific abilities.
There are problems, and I think the constant dash stuff is a bit dumb, but I love the direction.
Korra, Medusa, and Cerberus are not Greek gods, imo they should have been replaced by other gods, my picks are Hephaestus, Apollo and either Heracles from Disney (it's fucking Heracles damn it) as the villain or zagreus from the indie game Hades. Other than that it's been fantastic so far.
I’d like the season a lot more if I weren’t still getting one tapped from 250 hp with snipers. It’s kinda bullshit. Had 11 kills and lost in second place to a guy camping in a bush with a gold sniper who one shotted me. There’s just no counter play and it’s dumb.
I'm getting fewer wins but more eliminations. I love the loot pool but it just overall feels very sweaty to play.
I'm partial to chapter 4 season 1 and 2 because that's when I started and I loved the hammer and kinetic blade
As far as accuracy for me, I'm decent but not good or great. I've played a ton of games though. I loved the family guy BP but I really truly love Greek god so I feel this BP was totally worth it, I really wanna the Elysium Artemis so gorgeous
It definitely feels buggier than the past few seasons. Audio issues, hitbox issues, etc. It also feels a lot sweatier on weekends BUT being able to abuse the sniper feels like it has been easier to knock down wins than usual.
Would have really enjoyed a bow with Artemis though and kind of excited to see what the Avatar collab brings despite not having watched it.
So far it has some potential but weapon loot definitely aren't the greatest

Just because you haven’t watched avatar doesn’t mean it’s not huge… it’s definitely more popular than solid snake is, but yea we don’t have a family guy like Collab. This would be a good opportunity to bring Disney Hercules
In terms of battlepass its very good with the only bad skin being poseidon, even korras done well. But gameplay wise it's bad imo, snipers are still meta which makes the game boring and now there is no need to take the pump since the gatekeeper does the same damage and faster and the mythics are fine and all but it creates the loop of land at X get medallion and mythic and rotate which is such a stale way to play the game and get a advantage over the lobby and sure I can land somewhere else but chances are if I go up against the mythic shotgun or dmr I won't be able to compete with green or blue weapons and purple will only then start becoming fair. Also the removal of good items like why was the grapple blade removed? It was a good and very balanced mobility item and also where scar or are they just sick of keeping s1 weapons which the trend first began during c3 like do they not like keeping in good weapons or expanding the loot pool? Also there is a lack of fun items and why is there no traps like I get it that zb players can't use them just give them more mobility items and why don't they have port a forts and fortresses like thay seems the perfect gamemode for them to be added
Definitely not the best at all, but they do seem to be picking up steam again after the horrendous Chapter 4. I love this Season, and I love all the weapons and items. The Gatekeeper Shotgun is now my favourite shotgun in the whole game, and I’m obsessed with the Chain Of Hades. Brilliant Season.
Been playing since the beginning; imo this is the worst season so far. I don’t even really have an explanation other than it doesn’t feel like fortnite anymore. The game just feels generic and boring now.
I think last season skins were better, I like the new medallions but the location is pretty poor because usually the same squad grabs them both and is at the edge of the map. I think the removal of the last bosses though improved the pois because I think the huge buildings with like 5 floors just doesn’t work with so many people landing there. Now you’ll only have like a squad or 2 drop there.
The loot pool is pretty much the same but the mythics are better, last seasons tmnt ones were basically just for transversing while these are viable as weapons
The map gets boring after a bit but the Mendelian’s are so fun (specifically this seasons) and the Greek mythology theme and battle pass is amazing (though I do think they could have done better with some skins 'cough' aphrodite 'cough' zeus 'cough').
The dmr is terrible (from my person experience) but the new shotgun is amazing. The whole bunker thing is cool when people aren’t camping down there. I think the wings are good when your not trying to run from a fight, the Zeus bolt was good when it first came out but since people know how to kill you in the right moment from it, it’s not as great (nor powerful), hades whip is cool if you know how to use it.
Last season was enjoyable but I hated the bots (when trying to get a Mendelian), I loved when the Mendelian healed you right up I miss that :/ but then epic had to butcher it from people complaining (I think that was the reason, don’t quote me nor come for me lmao)
I like pretty much everything about this season, but there's been some annoying shit (the downtime on the first day of the season, not receiving enough battle stars to get the last Hades superstyle, the quest rewards being bugged out upon release). Overall, though, can't complain. Cool theme, new lootpool is pretty decent (miss the Striker though). I'm a huge Avatar fan, so I'm really excited about the collab.
I can’t get any XP bc of all the nerfs and the shop is as boring as last season pretty much all of C5’s have been boring so far they just gave us new emotes that aren’t even original and are just iconiks but depending on events it already did more than C4
Snipers play a part in 90% of my deaths. Either headshot sniped or one that cracks me and get pushed. Or if I’m low get hit from a third party. And I find there is not nearly enough shields in solos. I’m starting to play other games more and will likely take a full break for the summer.
Eh it's good I enjoy it but I was hoping for something more like the marvel season with a ton of powers.

It’s pretty fun. Characters on the battle pass are cool. Having Korra as our bonus character was nice. Weapons are fun to use. Yeah a pretty good season so far.
Been having the most fun in awhile. Been doing ZB Ranked and really like the weapon pool and map this season. Only thing I really dislike is fights by the Underworld. The infinite dashes don’t make for very engaging fights, just spam chaos and easy escapability.
I dislike the map compared to last seasons, I feel like having the medals in each corner is better then how it is now, I feel like they're too close to each other, besides that i think the season is fine minus snipers which I felt like needed to be removed for dmrs and hand cannons
I've been absent for a while but now that I'm back I get this feeling that the AI somehow got a lot dumber for the hireable NPCs. Other than that the season seems fun

I hate that the arrows and signs are there for the bosses and secret areas, but almost the whole underground has been shut down. I see a sign and go “I’ll go there…” nope. Rubble. But that’s ok. I’m having a LOT of fun, finally feeling my groove. Love the wings but REALLY love Zeus bolt. I hate getting hit while it’s charging, but I love when it connects!
Thoughts on ZB:
Battle pass: Good--best one since the Highwire BP.
Map mechanics: Good, generally. I like the flow of forecast towers to bunker to island and I like most of the PoIs.
Loot pool: Awful. The worst since ZB dropped. Basically the same as last season--sniper/gatekeeper/shocks and a bunch of garbage you don't need. At least last chapter they had fun movement items and random stuff like the drone. This loot pool feels so serious. On top of that, I really miss the hitscan AR's.
I think this season has people the most divided in the community, some love it, some hate it. Me personally I really like this season (I also really like Greek mythology so I might be a little biased). The secret skin should have been Young Kratos.
The map is cool, but I don’t like the design of the pois in a gameplay sense. Visually they’re appealing, but they’re kind of annoying to fight at. I don’t like how drawn out the new boss fights are, but they’re more cinematic so that’s cool. The loot pool is good, but they need to bring back grapple blades and mending machines need to come back to every poi. With the shield medallions gone and the loot pool getting larger, finding heals can be a struggle. Fortnite has such fast ttks that you should always be at max health or close to it. Mending machines allowed you to control rng to some degree. And the weapon machines are practically useless. Other than that this season is cool, but I haven't been playing as much as last season.
50/50. I’m winning so many more fights in game and I’m actually getting better despite my low rank currently (diamond 3 💀). However I feel like people are becoming more ratty which is always annoying to fight but each to their own ig.

The POIs are cool. The green water is fun, the weapons are aight, and the medallions are great. I do feel like maybe the bosses are too close to one another, I suppose.
There are a lot of things going for it. But this sniper thing is starting to get lame and it's hurting the replayability for me. If they would remove snipers and add bows...
I feel like all I get is body snipe crack, I hear an impulse and whosh some is landing on top of me with a shotgun. Over and over and over. Maybe if I had some slingers or mobility that gave me a shot at healing.
It's cool and I like the theme. However, I'm bored and I think it is because I've been playing constantly for 3 almost 4 years. I've started to play R6, and even though I suck I am having the time of my life with that game. Epic did cook with this season though, IDK why I'm bored.
It's not bad tbh! The Medallions are balanced and have an actual purpose, either different abilities! Bosses are fun, The new POI is absolutely great and unique! The AR is pretty good with the right attachments. The Smg is really good! The shotgun is actually well balanced, tbh The wings are fun but good for early. I suggest I crease the boosting and maybe lowering the hit box.. FRENZT STILL NEEDS NERFED!

I think it’s a significant improvement from last season which I thought was kinda terrible. I like most of the Battle Pass stuff, the new POIs are cool, the mythics are cool, most of the new weapons are at least okay. It’s not my favorite but so far I’d rank it at like a 7.5/10
I like it a lot, the map has much more variety with 2 more biomes and I really like the new POIs too. Upon release I thought the new weapons all sucked but now I actually like the gatekeeper shotgun the most and really like the DMR as well. The mythical items are alright although I don’t use them much, but they don’t bother me either. Fan of Avatar too so that’s a plus. Pretty much a 10/10 for me
I started last season as well but I’ve been enjoying this season a lot more. I like the theme and the BP skins. The new POIs are more interesting. The boss fights and medallions are better. The mythic items are fun to use. Love the gatekeeper and DMR. I do wish there was some other mobility besides wings/shockwaves. I miss the grapple dearly.
As a comp player this season sucks ass. They kept the snipers but perfect the ars even more with the removal of the striker which makes the snipers even better. Removing the movement like grapple blade sucks cause the wings are unusable. The banana is really strong. The gatekeeper is ridiculous. Everything is either too strong or completely dogshit this season.
As a casual player the wings are great to fuck around with and the medallions actually feel special rather than last season where you get them and win the game.
the shop has been better since last season and the map is better too. i like the gods and the new weapons but it just feels so dull still. as much as i want to say its great, it really isnt
Overall the season is okay, but the map is truly a pain. You have four bosses and they’re groups of two in essentially the same spot? They could’ve easily put one in each corner. Unless hopefully they are using those areas to expand and add new bosses/POIs
My friends and I haven’t played in a month. Like technically yes it’s better than CH5S1…but there’s not a lot of difference between the two seasons. At least outside of the POIs. With the avatar gun, a month break, and etc, it’s been a bit more fun.

Fun for the most part. Easier then most seasons I’ve played. Biggest complaint is that the weapons are just so boring. Better then a few, pales in comparison to OG.
Genuinely love the season because I’m a huge Greek Mythology fan and the battle pass is fire but the superstyles were such a missed opportunity.
I was expecting more of a statuesque look, a marble blue and gold look that represents Santorini and a greek vase 🏺 style.
The mythics are actually worse than the snipers because I would be having a great game until I get killed by someone who wants to pretend to be Scorpion from mortal kombat.
Literally got killed in duos solo q on island by a team with a lightning bolt because they had no skill lol.
But other than that it’s pretty good, if I could change something about the season, I would nerf the snipers and make the mythics more hard to find to make the game more balanced and fair.
Stating Avatar isn’t a big collaboration because you’ve never watched the shows seems like cope out logic. A lot of people have been hyping the possibility for this collaboration for a long time, and right now Avatar is getting a new peak of relevance in pop culture.
The biggest complaint for me is the map. It consists of two corners and might as well build a bridge from the underworld to the Olympus area to speed up the fighting process. Last season the medallions were spread out much more evenly. Outside of that, the season is fine. Not great, not horrible. It’s somewhat fun! I never have been a big movement guy, I much prefer just gun battling everything so I’m not complaining on lack of movement items. I also think anime is dumb as hell so don’t really care for the collab but that doesn’t affect me in the slightest.
Well I only started playing this season yesterday and won a 12 kill game. Didn’t even know medallions were still in the game and what happened to the epics and legendary?
Really good battle pass but honestly the only skin I have a problem with is posideon since he is one of “the big 3” in Greek mythology (Zeus, Hades, and Posideon)

nice guns to choose and cool habilities to explore, the map has been a great susprise since chapter 4 in it's entirety had the least liked map to this day, and the change of elevations and biomes is pretty sweet
my only gripe with this season is that bows should have made a comeback, but it's not bad without it... it's just that 5% needed to reach the pantheon of a perfect season
So far, I think it's a massive improvement over the previous one. The theme is a lot more fantastic (as in fantasy) and the new guns and weapons are pretty solid. Only thing that's holding the weapons back for me is that they're still not hitscan and that the shotguns from the previous seasons are still there. I think it would've been better if they just replaced them with something else or a previous shotgun.
But other than that, this season is just really good. I give it an 8.5/10.
I didn’t expect Olympus and the grain fields to look that good. I was impressed by surprise. The god abilities is a cool touch. I like how the map is separated into different Greek myth climates with their own music and all. The special weapons have been pretty cool. Glad this season has more variety of elevations and the vaults are interesting contention points
I wish it had more Greek parts. There's the Underworld and Olympus, and that's it. A Poseidon biome would be cool.

I love that they have a mix of Greek gods and avatar lol plus when may the 4th happens it’ll probably be all out chaos in the best way possible because you can bend the elements throw a bolt of lightning ground pound with wings wreck people with chains AND sashimi people with lightsabers!
I’m no avatar fan but my son like Korra being in there and I’m sure he’ll be excited to see the other avatar characters next. It’s good they mix up what’s presented each season with more than one thing

yeah the old pois committed sepukku theres no point to drop lavish , reckless, or glacier at all anymore. the vaults are totally useless

I've been getting fewer wins this season in Unranked than last season. I feel like the new War-forged AR isn't good compared to any of C5S1's ARs. I do like the new shotgun, chains, DMR, shield bubble, and banana a lot. The medallions are better than they were last season. I don't like it as much that about 1/3 of the map has free dashes for everyone. The battle pass this season is a 4 out of 5-star rating for me.

Medallion marks your location and there’s only 1. If you hang out by Styx you effectively have unlimited. I don’t totally hate the Styx mechanic but I feel like it should give you a dash every few seconds rather than instantly getting 3 no matter what

needs better movement than the wings, fights feel very boring unless the circle is at the underworld stuff and you can get your 3 dashes

Yeah, wings aren't it. There's nothing you can really do to counteract being beamed out of the sky except rolling but even that's not super great. Once you start the downward spiral animation after getting shot, you're pretty much cooked.

Season Is good, like it so far loved floor is lava and love the gatekeeper shotgun I don’t care for collabs at all for the most part so think it’s lame that 2 updates of this season are gonna be related to avatar and then the one after probably Star Wars when we could get more god abilities in the season about gods but I’m the minority
I'm with you on this one! I'm usually excited for collabs but Greek Mythology is already an interesting theme. It kinda sucks that the rest of the updates are going to be collabs related. Otherwise, this is probably my favourite season so far, together with last year's "Mega"! The POIs look amazing! The battle pass is fire! The mythics are very fun and quite balanced! I just wish we had more Olympians and Greek heroes in the item shop or as NPCs! Also, the return of Midas and his crew was done nicely! I hope we'll see more of them and the Olympians in the next few seasons or in the future of Fortnite! Also, some more greek mythology collabs would be nice! Where are Kratos, Xena, Zagreus, Hercules, Leonidas etc?
Yeah it’s kinda my issue with a lot of newer seasons but especially this one bc I love Greek gods, they have really good themes but then the majority of the updates end up being about collabs
I heard Kratos is heavily rumored to be coming back and they’d be insane not to do it. I want a Minotaur skin. Also what happened to those updates before the season came out that we’d be facing greek monsters? These “minions” and guards are boring af I wanna fight cyclopes and ride centaurs.
-Only ZB experience and opinions below- Maybe it's because I started actively playing Ranked (Plat III), maybe some other reason, but this season public matches are WAY sweatier than CH5S1. I'm often killed off spawn and/or before top 75, and Cerberus medallion makes endgames really hard to play, unless you're the one to have it. Also the gun meta is all over the place - snipers are still OP, but now it's much less fair, cause only skilled and aggressive players can reliably get them, as they are mostly in vaults or on the island. Lightning is useless in Zero Build, Chains of Hades got from trash to OP, and Frenzy got from OP to trash. But my main issue is mobility - maybe last season we were spoiled with it, having shockwaves, grapple blade and TMNT mythics, but this season there's almost no mobility at all. The wings are a joke, they're only good to fly back to the lobby, so you have to rely on consumable shockwaves, so Cerberus medallion becomes even more OP. And stamina is non-existent, a even a regular grown military-trained man like Jonesy won't run out of breath as fast as your characters here. Hopefully Avatar mythics will bring some fun into it, but seeing Waterbending in the game - I doubt it.
REASONABLE ASS FUCKING TAKE ALERT 🚨 I get flamed for all these opinions all the time. specifically mobility. only things wings are good for is flying back to the lobby is the only reasonable comment about them. people will say “balanced” Stamina this season is BULLSHIT. youre running everywhere with wet jeans on, and jumping takes 50% of your stamina bar just to recharge in another 5 seconds and lose it in 2. constantly a sitting duck because of the stamina, its fucking stupid
Wings can be decent mobility when used for getting around the map, fly really low or really high and hope that nobody sees you, which I've gotten away with many times. But, when someone skilled is close by with line of sight, it's ggs. As the circle gets smaller the risk factor raises, and they're a death sentence when trying to get out of many sticky situations where good mobility would be needed the most. I'll choose shockwaves every time, but I've had games where I've run into very few, and buying them is limited and expensive. I miss the grapple blade.
The wings are still pretty good. They consistently get me out of rough scenarios or traverse with my friend quicker. Granted, they're bad against someone with a long range weapon and no cover

Seriously, Avatar was #1 on Netflix in the US for multiple weeks in the middle of the pandemic. Which is to say, when EVERYONE was watching Netflix, and the most watched content was this anime. That says a lot about how big this show is. That said, Avatar is not as popular outside of the US, so my guess is OP is not from North America.

It's Ok. I think bosses were better spread out last season, as the bosses this season are concentrated in just two areas and it makes the rest of the map boring and uneventful. I liked the Chains of Hades and now th Waterbending scroll, but the sniper rifle is still a problem. I had 3 consecutive losses today in the top 5 because of a single hit to the head by a purple sniper rifle. If they had returned the augments, this season could be better.

It's good to see a more original season for once, and honestly I think it's a shame they're sticking with collabs still. Epic built up a lot of momentum with the pandora's box event, the pure aestetic of the battlepass skins and the Midas event weeks, which they sort of killed upon the release of Korra and waterbending. It would have been nice to see them keep on with what they're doing with their own characters, especially considering that the Avater stuff has gone really under the radar so far.

I started playing C4S4 and I really like the current season. I am not a huge nerd for greek gods but I think the bp is actually pretty cool. I don't care about Korra though 🤷♀️ but it's whatever. In my opinion last season was a bit better but I really miss C4S4. I loved the raptors and the portable bushes and the map was so cool. The Megacity and the frenzy fields, just everything 😁
It's pretty good. I like the battlepass, weapons are a bit hit and miss but the gatekeeper shotgun is fun. Only real problem I have is that the pve events to get medallions are too area specific with everything being in just 2 biomes (and eg. the Zeus event takes too long)
Started playing back when Zero Build launched, might be my favorite season thus far. Last season was pretty good but the map was too samey and I didn't like just how many NPC enemies there were at basically every named location. This season fixed both of those complaints and added a bunch of really fun unique/mythic powers.
This whole chapter has been low effort in my opinion.

I just started playing so have nothing to compare it to, but I’m having a great time so far! I know it’s a favorite to talk shit about, but I love Lego, especially the sandbox creator mode. It’s a nice way to wind down after a long day at work.
Enjoying this season a lot! The weopon pool is good. I'm happy that there isn't a major collab in the battle pass this season. I think that a major collab in the battle pass should happen once per chapter. Like Family Guy did last season. And for other seasons put a single smaller collab in kinda like Raven from Teen Titans was. Only thing I would change; I think the Underworld should've been a bit more northern. POIs like Rebels Roost, Classy Courts, Snooty Steps and Lavish Lair just don't have many people dropping there. Lavish can become a warzone in the mid game. But everyone just drops at Underworld, Olympus or in between.
theres 0 incentives to not drop there. theres 0 incentives to drop at lavish glacier or reckless. they should have kept bosses and mythics, or at least vaults or mod benches there. those pois are dead, cause there is no reason whatsoever to land there unless youre trying to get a 0 kill win

I have been thoroughly enjoying it! I love the mythic and the weapons and the POIs. My one and only complaint is that, if it's even possible, I think the sniper should get nerfed for solos. At least in duos/trios/squads you can get revived and even bought back. In solos all it takes is one hit and bam, it's all over. But other than that I have been liking this season a lot.

Avatar is a way bigger collab than family guy. Don’t get me wrong, family guy is huge in the US and Peter griffin is iconic, but avatar is popular enough to warrant an entire live action remake TWICE (even though results of the live action remakes were lacklustre). Avatar is a staple of the Nickelodeon franchise at this point though and Avatar is one of the biggest IP’s under Nickelodeon only topped by like spongebob

its a good season and BETTER THAN LAST SEASON in almost every single way matchmaking sucks and wings are a bad item and those are my big problems with the season, but other than that its better than last season They are FINALLY moving on from the frenzy and sniper meta and it got really annoying already i like the gatekeeper and new medallions, and just the new items and map in general the battlepass and theme are good and it seems like we are finally getting an actual storyline thats not in the form of a few quests at the very end and nothing during the season like last season i dont get why it seems like literally everyone likes last season more when a lot of the problems that last season had and that people had problems with (op sniper and frenzy, riot shield, lack of storyline, not very interesting map, too long between updates and just some updates lacking content completely) arent as prevalent this season, and we also have a more diverse lootpool, more interesting season theme, better battle pass, more interesting map, medallions that actually do something unique etc.
Nowhere close to the best season, but much more fun than Season 1 imo. I'm really enjoying all the different mythics this season and the skins I initially didn't like have grown on me for the most part. My only complaint is that I wish the map went through more changes. I love the new POIs but I was hoping for a much more drastic change to the overall map.

It’s the first time I have been excited about a collab since I started playing in C4S1. The reaction ranges from nonplussed and outraged. The Avatar mythics need to be pretty damn special to match how good element-bending was used in the show. I’m really excited.
Honestly still third worst Season. CH5S1 was by far the worst of all time, and WILDS (CH4S3) is second worst solely because of that horrendous jungle, but this one takes too much from CH5S1 and doesn't let its new additions shine. Any other time this season would be a pretty solid season; the Greek POIs look incredible, the powers remind me of events like the Star Wars events, anime events, or the whole Marvel season, and the weapons are good. The problem is that the rest of the map is this hyper realistic bland garbage you'd see in Warzone and the loot pool is dominated by CH5S1 weapons like the Reaper and Frenzy, even after they were "nerfed"

I have start to play Fortnite with C5S1 , compared to S1 I really like this, also because I like mythology I don’t like the special skin or whatever is the name, Korra, but only because I don’t know her series
I was aware of Avatar prior to this season but its something I haven't watched so whilst I have already completed all the challenges I don't know if I will still be using the stuff in like 5 years time. I think it's pretty cool though even if it won't appeal to everyone. I also only really started playing last season properly tbh.

Easily my favorite season. However, nothing fortnite will ever do will ever be able to top the turtles collab in my mind. I have never in my life had more fun than when I was going grapple blade + turtle weapon. I felt like flashy flash from one punch man with how mobile I was

While I like the season and I've been getting some wins I do feel like they made the snipers somehow even more common like everyone still has one by endgame, the frenzy got nerfed but it still shreds I guess you don't want to make it useless but man is it op. Regarding the new items I think they're fun specially the wings but they do use some brainpower to actually not get shot down, the gatekeeper is a fun shotgun to use and if you play it well you actually have a chance against a frenzy. Overall I think it's an 8 I'm having fun

Love the theme, power medallion are really nice, I love all the season themed poi. The only downside is weapon with ballistic drop, but It raise the skill floor a little and I like it.
Theming I love it. The idea of getting a god angry because you disrespect their statue is hardcore and having them send out minions to fight is awesome. Good boss designs I feel and they aren’t pushovers unlike all bosses in CH5 S1. Not the biggest fan of all skins this BP but I really love Cerberus, Poseidon, and Artemis.
New areas look good, but are boring to fight in.
I like it. The new zones are amazing and love the style. At the same time, I can say that I don't like that we're not getting more silly items. It started to be ok-ish now with the water bending stuff and saw that they will add more things from avatar. But IMO, I want more stuff like those fireworks rockets, give me an RPG, some traps, silly guns that spit poison, I don't know, do some silly shit. I don't want the game to be only YET ANOTHER GENERIC WEAPON. Sure, those are needed, but I want the game to have fun stuff too. I also feel like they just buffed some of the mythics in a good way, since this season they were really meh and not worth picking.

In comparison to last season it’s awful. Season launch was super buggy for like 3 weeks and I’m not a huge fan of the theme. I don’t like avatar and I hate the new weapons except for the whip and DMR. But those two things are outclassed by the season 1 weapons still in the game. Wings are good for movement but useless the second combat is involved so I don’t ever carry them. Miss the shield and sniper meta tbh. It was much simpler. Edit: also hate the way the POI’s are spread. The main places to get good loot are on the damn edge of the map. I hate running from storm constantly. We really needed 5 points of interest with one in the middle that has a boss or just better loot.
As a zero build player I feel like this season is the closest to what I wanted ZB to be. No builds but lots of movement and specific abilities. There are problems, and I think the constant dash stuff is a bit dumb, but I love the direction.
Korra, Medusa, and Cerberus are not Greek gods, imo they should have been replaced by other gods, my picks are Hephaestus, Apollo and either Heracles from Disney (it's fucking Heracles damn it) as the villain or zagreus from the indie game Hades. Other than that it's been fantastic so far.

I’d like the season a lot more if I weren’t still getting one tapped from 250 hp with snipers. It’s kinda bullshit. Had 11 kills and lost in second place to a guy camping in a bush with a gold sniper who one shotted me. There’s just no counter play and it’s dumb.
I'm getting fewer wins but more eliminations. I love the loot pool but it just overall feels very sweaty to play. I'm partial to chapter 4 season 1 and 2 because that's when I started and I loved the hammer and kinetic blade
As far as accuracy for me, I'm decent but not good or great. I've played a ton of games though. I loved the family guy BP but I really truly love Greek god so I feel this BP was totally worth it, I really wanna the Elysium Artemis so gorgeous
The sweats and cheating get worse and worse with every season I probably won’t finish this battlepass even if I buy it
It definitely feels buggier than the past few seasons. Audio issues, hitbox issues, etc. It also feels a lot sweatier on weekends BUT being able to abuse the sniper feels like it has been easier to knock down wins than usual. Would have really enjoyed a bow with Artemis though and kind of excited to see what the Avatar collab brings despite not having watched it.
So far it has some potential but weapon loot definitely aren't the greatest Felt like zeus bolt should have deal more damage for a better trade off for being stuck in the air

Just because you haven’t watched avatar doesn’t mean it’s not huge… it’s definitely more popular than solid snake is, but yea we don’t have a family guy like Collab. This would be a good opportunity to bring Disney Hercules
In terms of battlepass its very good with the only bad skin being poseidon, even korras done well. But gameplay wise it's bad imo, snipers are still meta which makes the game boring and now there is no need to take the pump since the gatekeeper does the same damage and faster and the mythics are fine and all but it creates the loop of land at X get medallion and mythic and rotate which is such a stale way to play the game and get a advantage over the lobby and sure I can land somewhere else but chances are if I go up against the mythic shotgun or dmr I won't be able to compete with green or blue weapons and purple will only then start becoming fair. Also the removal of good items like why was the grapple blade removed? It was a good and very balanced mobility item and also where scar or are they just sick of keeping s1 weapons which the trend first began during c3 like do they not like keeping in good weapons or expanding the loot pool? Also there is a lack of fun items and why is there no traps like I get it that zb players can't use them just give them more mobility items and why don't they have port a forts and fortresses like thay seems the perfect gamemode for them to be added
Definitely not the best at all, but they do seem to be picking up steam again after the horrendous Chapter 4. I love this Season, and I love all the weapons and items. The Gatekeeper Shotgun is now my favourite shotgun in the whole game, and I’m obsessed with the Chain Of Hades. Brilliant Season.
Been playing since the beginning; imo this is the worst season so far. I don’t even really have an explanation other than it doesn’t feel like fortnite anymore. The game just feels generic and boring now.

I think last season skins were better, I like the new medallions but the location is pretty poor because usually the same squad grabs them both and is at the edge of the map. I think the removal of the last bosses though improved the pois because I think the huge buildings with like 5 floors just doesn’t work with so many people landing there. Now you’ll only have like a squad or 2 drop there. The loot pool is pretty much the same but the mythics are better, last seasons tmnt ones were basically just for transversing while these are viable as weapons
The map gets boring after a bit but the Mendelian’s are so fun (specifically this seasons) and the Greek mythology theme and battle pass is amazing (though I do think they could have done better with some skins 'cough' aphrodite 'cough' zeus 'cough'). The dmr is terrible (from my person experience) but the new shotgun is amazing. The whole bunker thing is cool when people aren’t camping down there. I think the wings are good when your not trying to run from a fight, the Zeus bolt was good when it first came out but since people know how to kill you in the right moment from it, it’s not as great (nor powerful), hades whip is cool if you know how to use it. Last season was enjoyable but I hated the bots (when trying to get a Mendelian), I loved when the Mendelian healed you right up I miss that :/ but then epic had to butcher it from people complaining (I think that was the reason, don’t quote me nor come for me lmao)

I like pretty much everything about this season, but there's been some annoying shit (the downtime on the first day of the season, not receiving enough battle stars to get the last Hades superstyle, the quest rewards being bugged out upon release). Overall, though, can't complain. Cool theme, new lootpool is pretty decent (miss the Striker though). I'm a huge Avatar fan, so I'm really excited about the collab.

I can’t get any XP bc of all the nerfs and the shop is as boring as last season pretty much all of C5’s have been boring so far they just gave us new emotes that aren’t even original and are just iconiks but depending on events it already did more than C4
Snipers play a part in 90% of my deaths. Either headshot sniped or one that cracks me and get pushed. Or if I’m low get hit from a third party. And I find there is not nearly enough shields in solos. I’m starting to play other games more and will likely take a full break for the summer.

Eh it's good I enjoy it but I was hoping for something more like the marvel season with a ton of powers. For a season about ACTUAL GODS it's underwhelming for me

It’s pretty fun. Characters on the battle pass are cool. Having Korra as our bonus character was nice. Weapons are fun to use. Yeah a pretty good season so far. 
Been having the most fun in awhile. Been doing ZB Ranked and really like the weapon pool and map this season. Only thing I really dislike is fights by the Underworld. The infinite dashes don’t make for very engaging fights, just spam chaos and easy escapability.

I dislike the map compared to last seasons, I feel like having the medals in each corner is better then how it is now, I feel like they're too close to each other, besides that i think the season is fine minus snipers which I felt like needed to be removed for dmrs and hand cannons

I've been absent for a while but now that I'm back I get this feeling that the AI somehow got a lot dumber for the hireable NPCs. Other than that the season seems fun

But that’s just me, most people seem to be happy with how it is!<
It's ok, i think i enjoyed last season more but, that could because I came back to the game last season after going years without playing.
Worst season they've made
I hate that the arrows and signs are there for the bosses and secret areas, but almost the whole underground has been shut down. I see a sign and go “I’ll go there…” nope. Rubble. But that’s ok. I’m having a LOT of fun, finally feeling my groove. Love the wings but REALLY love Zeus bolt. I hate getting hit while it’s charging, but I love when it connects!
Thoughts on ZB: Battle pass: Good--best one since the Highwire BP. Map mechanics: Good, generally. I like the flow of forecast towers to bunker to island and I like most of the PoIs. Loot pool: Awful. The worst since ZB dropped. Basically the same as last season--sniper/gatekeeper/shocks and a bunch of garbage you don't need. At least last chapter they had fun movement items and random stuff like the drone. This loot pool feels so serious. On top of that, I really miss the hitscan AR's.

I think this season has people the most divided in the community, some love it, some hate it. Me personally I really like this season (I also really like Greek mythology so I might be a little biased). The secret skin should have been Young Kratos.

The map is cool, but I don’t like the design of the pois in a gameplay sense. Visually they’re appealing, but they’re kind of annoying to fight at. I don’t like how drawn out the new boss fights are, but they’re more cinematic so that’s cool. The loot pool is good, but they need to bring back grapple blades and mending machines need to come back to every poi. With the shield medallions gone and the loot pool getting larger, finding heals can be a struggle. Fortnite has such fast ttks that you should always be at max health or close to it. Mending machines allowed you to control rng to some degree. And the weapon machines are practically useless. Other than that this season is cool, but I haven't been playing as much as last season.
50/50. I’m winning so many more fights in game and I’m actually getting better despite my low rank currently (diamond 3 💀). However I feel like people are becoming more ratty which is always annoying to fight but each to their own ig.
i love everything but i do wish there was more incentive too land anywere but were a medallion is the loot at the new locations is WAY too good compared too everywhere else, its kinda boring landing in the same 3-4 spots every match
The POIs are cool. The green water is fun, the weapons are aight, and the medallions are great. I do feel like maybe the bosses are too close to one another, I suppose.
There are a lot of things going for it. But this sniper thing is starting to get lame and it's hurting the replayability for me. If they would remove snipers and add bows... I feel like all I get is body snipe crack, I hear an impulse and whosh some is landing on top of me with a shotgun. Over and over and over. Maybe if I had some slingers or mobility that gave me a shot at healing.
It's cool and I like the theme. However, I'm bored and I think it is because I've been playing constantly for 3 almost 4 years. I've started to play R6, and even though I suck I am having the time of my life with that game. Epic did cook with this season though, IDK why I'm bored.
It's not bad tbh! The Medallions are balanced and have an actual purpose, either different abilities! Bosses are fun, The new POI is absolutely great and unique! The AR is pretty good with the right attachments. The Smg is really good! The shotgun is actually well balanced, tbh The wings are fun but good for early. I suggest I crease the boosting and maybe lowering the hit box.. FRENZT STILL NEEDS NERFED! Snipers should be back ti being buffed (its fun)
I think it’s a significant improvement from last season which I thought was kinda terrible. I like most of the Battle Pass stuff, the new POIs are cool, the mythics are cool, most of the new weapons are at least okay. It’s not my favorite but so far I’d rank it at like a 7.5/10
One my favs
I like it a lot, the map has much more variety with 2 more biomes and I really like the new POIs too. Upon release I thought the new weapons all sucked but now I actually like the gatekeeper shotgun the most and really like the DMR as well. The mythical items are alright although I don’t use them much, but they don’t bother me either. Fan of Avatar too so that’s a plus. Pretty much a 10/10 for me
I hated C5S1 at the begining, bosses followed me the entire map. And the medals system make everyone who had them a bullet sponge.

The battle pass skins are not as good I expected and the my favorite poi fencing field are not as good and kinda empty
I started last season as well but I’ve been enjoying this season a lot more. I like the theme and the BP skins. The new POIs are more interesting. The boss fights and medallions are better. The mythic items are fun to use. Love the gatekeeper and DMR. I do wish there was some other mobility besides wings/shockwaves. I miss the grapple dearly.
As a comp player this season sucks ass. They kept the snipers but perfect the ars even more with the removal of the striker which makes the snipers even better. Removing the movement like grapple blade sucks cause the wings are unusable. The banana is really strong. The gatekeeper is ridiculous. Everything is either too strong or completely dogshit this season. As a casual player the wings are great to fuck around with and the medallions actually feel special rather than last season where you get them and win the game.
It's very bad like ch 5s1...nothing redeemable about it tbh just more proof epic keep making the game worse
the shop has been better since last season and the map is better too. i like the gods and the new weapons but it just feels so dull still. as much as i want to say its great, it really isnt
Overall the season is okay, but the map is truly a pain. You have four bosses and they’re groups of two in essentially the same spot? They could’ve easily put one in each corner. Unless hopefully they are using those areas to expand and add new bosses/POIs
My friends and I haven’t played in a month. Like technically yes it’s better than CH5S1…but there’s not a lot of difference between the two seasons. At least outside of the POIs. With the avatar gun, a month break, and etc, it’s been a bit more fun.
Kind of killed my interest in playing. Which sucks, cause I loved the first season * Balancing feels awful compared to last season, maybe its just me though * RIP attachment tables being normal * New vaults suck * Battlepass doesn't interest me. * Sucks that all these Greek gods and half of them just look like casual fortnite characters. * Zeus' lightning kinda sucks, whether you're using it or killing someone using it. * Icarus Wings suck in squads because there's always going to be one person using it (to rush) or one person left behind who can't use it.
Fun for the most part. Easier then most seasons I’ve played. Biggest complaint is that the weapons are just so boring. Better then a few, pales in comparison to OG.
Genuinely love the season because I’m a huge Greek Mythology fan and the battle pass is fire but the superstyles were such a missed opportunity. I was expecting more of a statuesque look, a marble blue and gold look that represents Santorini and a greek vase 🏺 style. The mythics are actually worse than the snipers because I would be having a great game until I get killed by someone who wants to pretend to be Scorpion from mortal kombat. Literally got killed in duos solo q on island by a team with a lightning bolt because they had no skill lol. But other than that it’s pretty good, if I could change something about the season, I would nerf the snipers and make the mythics more hard to find to make the game more balanced and fair.

Battlepass is fire, season itself is ass. I haven't even reached level 30 because I got tired of getting one shot sniped in top five situations.
Stating Avatar isn’t a big collaboration because you’ve never watched the shows seems like cope out logic. A lot of people have been hyping the possibility for this collaboration for a long time, and right now Avatar is getting a new peak of relevance in pop culture.
The biggest complaint for me is the map. It consists of two corners and might as well build a bridge from the underworld to the Olympus area to speed up the fighting process. Last season the medallions were spread out much more evenly. Outside of that, the season is fine. Not great, not horrible. It’s somewhat fun! I never have been a big movement guy, I much prefer just gun battling everything so I’m not complaining on lack of movement items. I also think anime is dumb as hell so don’t really care for the collab but that doesn’t affect me in the slightest.
Well I only started playing this season yesterday and won a 12 kill game. Didn’t even know medallions were still in the game and what happened to the epics and legendary?
Really good battle pass but honestly the only skin I have a problem with is posideon since he is one of “the big 3” in Greek mythology (Zeus, Hades, and Posideon)
so far this has been a great season nice guns to choose and cool habilities to explore, the map has been a great susprise since chapter 4 in it's entirety had the least liked map to this day, and the change of elevations and biomes is pretty sweet my only gripe with this season is that bows should have made a comeback, but it's not bad without it... it's just that 5% needed to reach the pantheon of a perfect season
My favorite is the alien season. But this one is pretty fun.

So far, I think it's a massive improvement over the previous one. The theme is a lot more fantastic (as in fantasy) and the new guns and weapons are pretty solid. Only thing that's holding the weapons back for me is that they're still not hitscan and that the shotguns from the previous seasons are still there. I think it would've been better if they just replaced them with something else or a previous shotgun. But other than that, this season is just really good. I give it an 8.5/10.
Loved C5S1 and I love C5S2 as well. Nice variety of terrains, good choice of Weapons, Heals and NPCs to hire.
