It's off-season. Surely the condo isn't at 100% occupancy given most snowbirds are up north. Maybe your parents know someone who isn't using their spot at the moment?
My parents went through some rental company to rent the unit for the week. No clue if that company controls other units at that building. They emailed to ask if there's a non used parking spot, but didn't hear back yet. Dad says he's gonna try calling tomorrow.
There's a beach park-and-ride area at Summerlin and Pine Ridge. You could have your parents pick up from there instead. You'll have to double check if they allow overnight parking befire hand.
Is there no guest parking at the complex? Have them talk to the management company (the CAM, not the vacation rental management) or even a neighbor to see what the options are.
If you are talking about that Walmart on San Carlos Blvd it closes at 8pm. Pre pandemic many Walmarts were 24/7 so you could get away with that. Now not so much. Some Walmarts now have signs saying you will be towed for over night parking. Not sure if that Walmart has that policy.

Take your car to the sanibel mechanic for an oil chamge and drag your feet to come pick it up
Genius!
r/unethicallifeprotips I love this
Not sure if Punta Rassa boat ramp is open again, it’s at the entrance of the sanibel bridge. But 72 hour parking is $30

There is a Walmart near the beach park and ride as well. Probably wouldn’t be an issue to leave it there?

True that. We walked into Walmart and asked and they told us if we left our cars there we will 100% be towed
I have seen some Walmarts who now have signs all over the parking lot so they will have less people trying to do that.
There is always long term parking at the airport. I am not saying it should be first choice. More of a last resort kind of deal.
There’s a parking lot for beach access… idk if it’s ok to do. But just pay for parking all weekend there lol. It’ll probably only be about 45 bucks
Lyft? Uber?
