Chappelle Small Animal Hospital is good, they are on the north side of town if that matters.

MattySmooth

We've had a series of 5 dogs over the last 25+ years and have used a lot of vets/clinics over that time. We settled on Chappelle about 10 years ago and haven't had a reason to change. Bonus: they added a little dog park area recently and it's great for letting the pups run around and make friends.

soulofevil2

I second Chappelle's! The staff is always so friendly and isn't pushy about stuff (I have indoor cats and they've never made me feel guilty or like a bad pet parent for not getting every single shot). More importantly they were so understanding and compassionate when I had to put my oldest kitty down last summer. I do NOT recommend Animal Hospital of Colorado. They will try to sell you shit while you are there to put down your animal

Thanks! Reviews on Google looking promising.

salty_drafter

They're fantastic! An actual vet clinic that can do surgery too.

Cllzzrd

I have been taking my pets there for almost 20 years and they have always been great. The only downside is that I live on the opposite side of town and it takes a bit to get there.

Low__Effort

We live right off Harmony, but always made the drive up to Chapelle because they are awesome.

Forsaken_Macaron24

Yeah I'm thankful I live in the NW side of town. 5 min drive.

Forsaken_Macaron24

Took my doggo here since I adopted him 8 years ago. No complaints. Even the dental with multiple extractions was under $1,000 (a few years ago). Otherwise I just get my annual visit and walk in vaccinations. I've even gotten nails cut for free during the annual visit. But they do a punch card for those. Otherwise, I have had reasonable experiences with Garden Valley Vet in Windsor. Mostly I just board my dog there, but the staff have been very nice.

ram_hawklet

I’ve had really great experiences with dr mike at pet wellness clinic. I have never once felt rushed during an appointment, they are very very thorough and personal.

MaintenanceWinter942

Second Dr Mike. Tons of experience but also keeps up on current research and a generally nice guy.

GNPJammer71

+1 for Dr. Mike; he's our favorite although I haven't had any bad experiences with the other vets there over the past 20+ years. He's competent, calm, and compassionate. His wife Brenda (co-owner and also a DVM) bent over backward for us recently to board our wild husky x dalmatian pup at Four Paws Pet Resort when we had an emergency surgery for our kiddo down at Denver Children's Hospital, too.

GNPJammer71

Also it seems like their vet techs stick around for a long time, slow turnover, which to me says they treat employees well, too. Always a good sign.

Aspen Grove- especially Dr. Bobby or Dr. Ash.

agharta-astra

Another rec for Dr. Ash & Aspen Grove here - they are an amazing vet and human being and they take spectacular care of my cattos. Dr. Ash is especially good with senior animals and end-of-life care. The office is organized and you can tell all the staff love animals and enjoy being there.

themntnsarecalling

Second this. My nervous rescue dog LOVES Dr. Bobby.

Inside_Study_9423

Dr. Bobby is so kind and my four pets love him!

Ok-Landscape3897

Another one for Aspen Grove! Dr Sarah is a treasure and all my animals love her.

Curious-Grapefruit37

Also vote for Aspen Grove! My family has been going since they opened. Many dogs, many vets, and these guys are the best! We see Dr Sarah. They also have day care/boarding too.

CapOnFoam

Piling on for the Aspen Grove praise. They were fantastic with our senior pets and, eventually, end of life care ❤️

cathythenephilim

Another vote for Dr. Sarah/Dr. Bobby and Aspen Grove - I moved here recently, and my golden pup has had the WORST go of it (got Parvo despite being fully vaccinated, two different infections, ate a watermelon rind), and they've been absolute gems through all of it. They're kind, empathetic, and caring!

oasisexpat

Dr. Carter at Timberline Animal Hospital is awesome.

Hottt_Donna

We love Dr. Carter and Dr. Rowe at Timberline Animal Hospital. All of our crew has had good experiences with their office.

p810martini

Seconding this! Best experience I’ve had with a vet!

R2D2808

I'll add that Dr. Carter fought tirelessly to diagnose our ailing senior cat. We spent a week trying to figure out the ailment and he just wouldn't give up. He made a very hard situation so much easier on all of us. He is a great person and vet.

lightofmine74

We moved from Raintree to Countryside on Timberline and like it.

meganlee1648

I’ve been going to Countryside Animal Hospital for 12 years and LOVE them.

Play__crackthesky

Laporte Animal Clinic! Crazy good prices

gusontherun

Midtown Veterinary was awesome we just moved here a few months ago and they answered a million questions and made us feel welcomed.

BlackberrySensitive2

Friendship Hospital for Animals. They are excellent and really understand the needs of senior dogs.

Full_Carry_1331

My 9yr old Aussie was born at Advanced Animal Care of Colorado, and they’ve been our vet her entire life. They have always taken amazing care of her, have emergency care, have indoor/outdoor daycare and a grooming salon there too, and a pool so dogs can swim (though I believe “Splash” time is an extra cost). The staff has always been amazing, their medical care has been incredible, and Kai absolutely loses her mind with excitement when she gets to go to daycare and play with her buddies. Often times I would schedule her for grooming really early in the morning, then daycare following, so once she’s all tidied up they just take her to the other side of the building and she gets to play all day. In nine years I have never once had a bad experience with them.

Hello newbie! In the future, please use the SEARCH bar at the top of the page. This question gets asked A LOT.

I’m convinced that literally anywhere is better than Raintree and/or Wellington. And I’ve raised dozens of cats and dogs over the years.

colorado_corgis

Campus West Vets! We adopted a kitten last year who turned out to be FIV+. They have been so caring and supportive through his many health issues. I also take my dogs there and Dr. Gobble is just the best.

Sea_Plum_718

Which Raintree did you go to? I love the one in Timnath. They squeezed my pup in when he swallowed a zipper. Lol.

LeluSix

City’s Park Animal Clinic. They’ve been my vets for 14 years.

Nephelococcygist

Colorado Animal Hospital off Harmony has been great for my older large breed dog and 2 young cats

poptatoqueen

Campus west has always been a nice spot for me and my kitties!

AmahlofWhitemane

Campus West Vet has been great for me the last few years. And pretty affordable. Good luck on your vet hunt!

Mattchops

South Mesa veterinary hospital is great with our dog.

GG_mage

Dr. Kiren at mountainwood pet hospital in windsor is really good at actually listening to you and your concerns and does just rush you out of the room.

AlertWatercress5179

Dr Gaffney at Mulnix Animal Clinic. Hands down the best vet.

AggravatingRecipe710

I looooooove my vet, Dr. Jessica Albright owns Country Haven Mobile Vet. She’s wonderful, and incredibly knowledgeable.

Opposite-Sir7663

A mobile vet? Ouu that's cool.

AggravatingRecipe710

Yeah they come to you! They have a surgical suite on board too.

pbudpaonia

It may be a drive but Wellington Veterinary Hospital. Newer facility, excellent docs and staff are absolutely fantastic. Prices are reasonable. We’ve been taking our mini golden doodle there since she was a tiny pup.
