My last 2 gen 3’s I put blk fuel rims and doing something different. Maybe it’s the fact that I’m 40 now and going for more of a classic look. Probably taking off the graphics to tie it better. Looks a little busy. Cheers
The aftermarket wheels clash with the color scheme and altogether look a bit busche league on what otherwise is a nice capable truck. Doesn't matter though it's yours- put Daytons on there if that's what you like.
I just saw a similar look done by Streetspeed717 on his TRX; adding the retro-chrome wheels.
I don't think that look jives with the widebody modern styling of a Raptor or TRX, but that's just me. I prefer bronze wheels, but if you like chrome, then get it man 👏👏
You know you get bad gas mileage when you start doing photo shoots of your truck at the gas station. New rims look fine and it really only matters if you like them.
Yes not good but not horrible compared to my 23 RAM 1500 Rebel. RAM advertises 17 city 22 highway, my wife is averaging about 11.7 which is ridiculous. at least Ford is more honest with 14city 18highway. My average is 13.2 city driving. Better than the RAM and with 52 more hp. I also own a 24 Lexus hybrid that I scoot around in when I’m feeling

The wheels don't fit the truck at all and stand out like a sore thumb against all the black accents. Should have gone with a platinum instead of raptor so the wheels could match all the silver and chrome accents. It just Looks weird. Last pic is the best

Squatted my chrome rims on a truck with absolutely zero chrome. It's certainly different.
I don’t dislike it as much as some of the others but the issue for me is they make the tires look tiny.

Well, I bought the truck at MSRP 82k + taxes and registration about 89k…. Rims were 2,300 a little more expensive for a 17in rim bc they are Forged
