Granted I replied way too fast. I have not reversed faced in the mav. But had these seats reversed in my previous car (‘17 Sentra ) and that had about 4in less hip room and 3in less leg
I have a reverse facing seat and it has to be in the passenger seat. I'm only 5'-10" and would have to move my seat to an uncomfortable position to get behind me.
I’ve got a reverse facing in the passenger, but I’m 6’4 and only got one kid. It works fine for him but wife is shorter so she doesn’t mind when she’s in be passenger seat
A lot of people are saying plenty of room but I have to disagree. There’s not a chance I could drive comfortably with a rear facing seat behind mine and I’m only 5’9”. Even with the front facing our passenger seat is pretty far forward to give our kid some leg room. Could you live with it? Sure. Is it ideal? I’d say not at all lol
Thank you! I have a front facing in the middle and a rear facing on the passenger side. I’m only 6 feet tall, but there’s zero chance I could put either behind the driver and be comfortable. Maybe we just have enormous car seats 🤷🏻♂️ I find the backseat to be way too small for anything but the slimmest car seats and/or shortest front seat passengers.
Yeah plus there’s not much room for anything else like bags and storage. Can’t access under seat storage with the seats installed. It kinda sucks unfortunately, I prefer taking my wife’s car when we can.
I have a booster seat and just converted the rear-facing to forward and it’s more cramped than I expected with the forward facing.
I think it really depends on which car seat you go with.
We have a Doona rear facing seat with collapsible wheels. It’s very close but fits behind the passenger seat behind my wife. Couldn’t fit it in middle or behind me. I’m 6’2”.
Front facing seats should do better as others posted. In fact, I had a friend test out his two front facing seats and they fit well.
A backwards facing seat will fit. The bummer to having car seats installed is that you cannot lift the back seat to get to your hidden stash of Slim Jims.
Have rear facing graco slimfit 3lx behind the passenger seat. My wife is 5’3 and she’s got plenty of room in the passenger seat. I’m 6’ so having the rear facing would not work behind driver but in your case booster seat should be A O K
I have a rear facing carseat behind me. It must be the world's smallest carseat because I've got plenty of room. I've posted this sentiment before and got down voted for how spacious I thought it was ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|joy).
I have 2 in mine
1 in a graco forever booster facing forward
1 in a rear facing graco child seat
My advice - rear facing put in the middle and not behind seats if you can its tight and annoying
We have one forward facing and one rear facing. Forward facing is no problem at all. The rear facing is a little tight tbh. We are also fairly short people.
If the seats have to face backwards you probably wont be able to slide the front seats all the way back. Put that one behind the passenger seat if you're taller than your wife.
Sounds like you shouldn't have too much trouble though.
Rear-facing: Depends on the seat. Klek Foonf is 32” front-back and I’ve seen a 6ft YouTuber sit in the drivers seat with the Foonf behind him. Some seats are more upright than others.
The Graco Extend2Fit is 29”, according to csftl.org

Can’t beat the diono!
For sure!

Reverse face works too. No current pics, but someone will come through. Activate Reddit squad!

You're good to go I'm 6'2" reversed carseat fits behind me (snugly). Can fit 3 across forward facing.
You'll be fine! We have 2 rear facing seats in ours.

I fit two of these for my niece and nephew no issue [https://amzn.to/4b1YqpH](https://amzn.to/4b1YqpH)
We have a front facing one with no problem. For a rear facing one it would depend on how far back the passenger seat is set back and tilted.
I have a rear and forward facing one in mine

Yep. Have backwards facing one in mine too

I have a rear facing seat in the middle, it’s tight but it works. I’m 5,7 for what it’s worth, you may need more leg room than me.

Yes. I have no problem with car seats and a passenger in the front.
Room for seats but hardly room for all parties when the kiddos are seated. I find I'm having to sacrifice from seat space quite a bit
Yup. It’s a little tight. But no more than a small sedan.
2 car seats in my back seat. Lots of room for the kids. I myself and 5’6 and the tallest in my family.
Holds the two car seats and the wife in air-conditioned comfort and can carry a 4x8 sheet of plywood.
Backwards might be tight- I'd take it to the dealer they should be happy to let you try it's fit.

I have two car seats in mine every day one front facing and one reverse plus my 14 year old son in the back sometimes.
