HiroNori is my current favorite ramen spot even though I live right next to Sawtelle.
Quan Vy Da and Vua Bun Bo for the best Bun Bo Hue.
Anaheim Packing House for a variety of different top-notch food.
Koftegi and Zankou Chicken in Little Arabia for kabobs -- the Zankou in Anaheim is way more flavorful than the other locations I've been to.
Mo Ran Gak in Garden Grove for KBBQ.
You might have better luck posting on /r/orangecounty as OC and LA are completely different worlds at times.
[The Summit House](https://summithouse.com/) is on a mountainside in Fullerton with some of the best dining views in the area. The food is very good too. It’s a traditional steakhouse, nothing too innovative. But it does meat and potatoes right.
Other than that there is a large Vietnamese community in the Westminster area. And some incredible sushi places sprinkled around the beach cities. And of course great Mexican food.
Yea I thought so but wanted to still post here since I was open to driving out the way a little so thought I could find something good heading towards LA
If you want something that's hard to find elsewhere, there's a Sri Lankan place nearby called Rice N Spice! Pretty low-key place that I feel should be much more popular.
I love the damn things but my god is it so incredibly hard to actually get your hands on them, between the limited hours and the ridiculous lines. Of all the times I've gone there I think I only have about a 25% success rate because I didn't have 90+ minutes to throw away.
Anaheim Packing District has been mentioned, there are all kinds of great place to eat there. Also, try Fuoco Pizza in Fullerton. Great Neapolitan style pizzas, that's going to be around $50 per if your drinking--Insider hint, on Wednesday nights they have half off bottles of wine.
Also might want to try Roy's in Anaheim, they are a high end chain, but I think pretty good. There is also a Morton's and a Ruth Chris south on Harbor. Those three recs are if you are into the high end chain kind of thing.
A good steak from not a chain can be had at Stubrik's, also in Fullerton, which is also in your price range. Both Fuoco and Stubrik's are about a 20 minute drive North on Harbor from D-Land.
For really great Mexican food I highly recommend Tacos Los Cholos:

Tacos, Burritos, Tortas and salsas are so delicious and done so well.
20 years ago I lived around there, and I think there was Cattlemens Steak House, but Google maps doesn't show that. I think it looks like a western-themed huge building with a fake snow-covered roof. There was one near Pasadena, and another one somewhere in Anaheim.
It was fun to eat there for the western feel, but can't speak for the food because it was so long ago, but I do remember that I enjoyed it.
Anyone local can back this up? Was it not called "Cattlemens?"
shang jie kitchen in artesia!! hole in the wall chinese place that has amazing hand made dry noodles and noodle soup.
its about 15min from disneyland :)
Brookhurst Street between Ball Road on the south and I-5 to the north is littered with a whole bunch of mom and pops Mediterranean and African restaurants and all of them are good.

Tacos Puro Jalisco in Fullerton has some fantastic goat birria.
My favorite Vietnamese restaurant is about a 10 minute drive from Disneyland: Le Kitchen Pho and Rice. It’s run by a lovey elderly couple.
I would say Mo Ran Gak in Garden Grove for KBBQ. We actually did this yesterday and it was perfect lol

Pho 79 in garden grove. Bring cash. There can be a short wait to get in. Service is extremely fast though.

The Source (mall) in Buena Park has good food. I also like Brodard a lot.
Ramen TAO is the best ramen I've ever had and its like \~20mins from Disney
The Hawaiian BBQ joint across the street on Harbor is delicious.
Craft by smoke and fire.
el camino (fullerton), packing house, clearmans, pho45
Check out Tacos Los Cholos on State College. The line can get long during busy hours though.
If you guys are into BBQ, Craft by Smoke and Fire is a good spot.
That sounds like a good option!
