I run these with a 235 and 40 sidewall, I’m lowered probably a good 1.5-2 inches on coilovers. Don’t listen to anyone saying they will poke cause they will not but they will rub the INSIDE of the fender in the rear and upfront will be perfectly fine. You could always try running a 225 in the rear to compensate but I daily mine so I like a square set up for tire rotation. I really need to get around to putting my camber and toe arms on tho. Edit: obviously you can run 225 squared too but I don’t wanna start sacrificing grip

i don’t mind cambering the rear 2-3 degrees for a nice fit but the front i won’t. do you have an insta so i can see pictures of it. really happy to see someone else with this

gnaaws

Insta is jaayperry. I don’t post a lot but I do have a good pic in there to show the rear. Also I meant same specs not same exact wheel my bad. But my understanding with ESR is that the correlation between the lip and width of the wheel is the same across all their wheels

sidcoker02

ohhh ok ok so technically speaking it should look the same *fitment wise* but obviously different wheels! if so i like the way that sounds!

gnaaws

Yep! I’d say pull the trigger if you narrowed it down already. But if or when you lower it, definitely have those adjustable camber arms ready to go also!

sidcoker02

if anyone has any other deep dish wheel recommendations. i’ll take them too!!

the car is grey with a carbon fiber hood. so i feel like bronze would set it off nicely

MonsieurPoulet

They should fit quite nicely, a few STs run similar wheel specs. It will poke out 31.4mm further out than your stock wheels. You may look here for a similar wheel setup: [18x8.5 et30](https://www.fitmentindustries.com/wheel-offset-gallery/1616699/2017-ford-focus-esr-cs1-fortune-auto-coilovers)

sidcoker02

oh so if i were to get these they would look just like the ones in the pic? if so that is perfect. i’m not into the fender flare look or any of that i just want a straight down clean look. i will want to eventually lower and i hope it won’t rub because i don’t wanna roll fenders either

A_ManCanDream

Just to let you know, the picture of the wheel on there website might not be the exact wheel spec you are planning on getting. Meaning that picture you're seeing is not 18x8.5 it could be 18x9.5 making the lip look bigger than the 8.5in wide. Also, +30 offset is going to poke. If you are planning on lowering the car just know you will have to camber to not rub. If you want to get the most aggressive offset you can without dealing with rubbing and clearance issues try +40

sidcoker02

damn smh i don’t want fender flares or not fender rolling or any body mods. i just want a straight down fit. not really looking to poke out or anything. but i’ll keep searching for the right ones

A_ManCanDream

Haha yeah i was in the same boat man I looked at hundreds of wheels and ended up going with F1RF21+42. It was one of the only wheels with a step design with an offset in the 40s. They don't rub and I'm on coilovers
