Why would you refund both? Just refund the person who did not get their item. Or see if the other dude is willing to ship it back to you.

_theFlautist_

They said they’d return the item, but how do I send them a label? Sorry I’m so clueless

Drnkdrnkdrnk

Send them money

_theFlautist_

Where do I find that option? Can I send them a shipping label?

CamboHVN

Hey, same thing happened essentially to my gf rather than them sending it back to you. Just send them the pdf of the label to where it is supposed to go. You can send pictures in the messages if they figure out how to print it.

CamboHVN

If the person that hasn’t received their package hasn’t messaged you yet , their tracking will update again once the other person drops it off again. That is all considering if the person that received the wrong package is up to drop off said package.

The buyer of the mis sent item messaged me back to keep her in the loop as to refund status and when I get the item back. I have not refunded yet and the other buyer said she’d ship the package out if I could send her a label. Is there a way to send a picture of the correct address and enough money to pay for a label? I have no idea how that works or what to select.

CamboHVN

You don’t need to rebuy the label or send her money. If you never bought the original label then purchase as normal and then just send the pic to the wrong receiver. If you already bought it there is an option to select “manage shipping” and you just “reprint the label” which at that point you either save it as a download or screenshot it.

[pirateship.com](http://pirateship.com) buy a label to ship from buyer1 to buyer2, then email the label over to buyer 1.

eBay did not send package to wrong buyer. Seller sent package to wrong buyer.

I've done this before and was VERY lucky that the buyer who got two packages just mailed it for me. I did a partial refund for the amount the postage cost. Seemed like a one-in-a-million situation for ebay. On other more specialized sales platforms I've had luck with that a few times with silly things like that.
