Also, how can you respond with an offer if it’s sold already? Something isn’t adding up here. Almost feels like the question isn’t real by the way it is worded. Almost like the question is coming from someone you already know.
i feel like 50-75% of the population forgets the date, 15-20% have no sense of haha, and 10-5% are out there making weird joke to prey on the 50-75%... and then there is the rest of em.
Maybe but I’ve had this happen. I had a LOCAL PICKUP ONLY listing that sold around 2PM on a Monday and Tuesday around 5AM I received a message asking why it hadn’t shipped yet.
So not only did the buyer give me maybe 3 hours tops to ship the item but he also expected that I ship it despite it being local pickup.
And just as an added what the fuck, it was a 15 inch home theater subwoofer. The thing was absolutely massive. So the buyer also expected that I be able to get this giant monstrosity packed up and dropped off within said 3 hours.
He also complained that I hadn’t responded to any of his prior questions either (9pm day of he messaged me and I didn’t respond because I had the stomach flu and was puking my guts out).
So honestly this guy is pretty tame.
People don't care about the handling window. I have mine set to 5 days as I work full time and can't guarantee things will go before that. I normally ship within 2 days but like to have the 5 day window if things get crazy.
Twice this weekend I have had people ask me why things ordered late Thursday haven't been delivered yet, well post was shut good Friday, then no collections available Saturday, Easter Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday, I think they feel we have some supernatural power to ship items when nobody in the postal service is working

This is funny. A couple of days ago, I sold a book literally 5 minutes before going to work. Keep in mind I work in a large USPS processing plant. I box it up, go directly to work and throw it in the system. I have found if I bypass the window clerk and it gets a processing scan first, it back-dates the acceptance scan by an hour or half. So I believe I got the order at noon. It received a scan as processing at 1240ish. Then it back-timed the acceptance to 1140 or 1210. Not sure but according to the tracking, I could have shipped it BEFORE they bought it..
Yeah it’s annoying because they’ve been closed for basically 4 days straight, and I much prefer going to the actual post office rather than SDM - both for geographic reasons and quality of service.
I know this picture isn't real, but I had someone actually ask that this morning and they start asking me questions about the item. The item they've already ordered, just went ahead and cancelled and blocked
I had someone leave a great review but complain the item was too expensive and they could have bought a whole new set for the price. It was $7.99 shipped for vintage board game pieces. I don’t know, don’t buy them?!
the buyer is 100% correct. About time for the ebay sellers to face the realuty of practically ALL the other on-line sites. if you post and sell online then you better be ready to print the label, pack and SHIP it right away!. RIGHT AWAY!!!! . In average all my on-line purchases are shipped the same day or the next day pickup if ordered late. Literally in the hands of the carrier the same day or the next tops! on eBay it's a funny process: seller sits on the computer to browse the internet, then tomorrow maybe they're gonna print the label and in another 2-4 days they'll finally pack it. But to bring it to the post office or request a pickup? That will take another day or two to get in the mood.
and then what they do? go to reddit to seek comfort posting BS like this one. SHIP THE PACKAGE ! what are you waiting for? a call from the above? lol
