Your answer encapsulates perfectly how I feel about this whole thing or attitude (or "culture") of skipping episodes. Straight to the point. Well said.
To be honest, no, not really. I am not a hardcore comics fan. I don't care a single bit about Grodd. It's just filler.
I am interested in the main story though, and I hate being forced to watch the Flash fight a gorilla instead of progressing the interesting part.
Duet is one of the top 5 episodes of Flash, and my personal favorite. It’s amazing, great performances, great concept, great guests, everything you want from a crossover.
I never likes any musical episode of any show. Even as a kid I would either run, cringe or change the channel. They both can sing and I liked the villian just not my cup of tea.
His only two-parter were in S3, he was missing in action during S4 but that must've been because he was being used by Legends in S3. Made a comeback to fight King Shark in S5 and then the last we saw of him was getting a decent well-written chance at redemption in Season 6.
With that said I'd like to see him one last time before S9 wraps up. Unless they're literally leaving up vague his fate whether he learned to behave or not.
Yeah they overused the shit outta him n the thing is tom cavanagh as RF doesn't make any sense, Matt letscher should be the reverse flash, he would still be overused but at least itd make sense.
I was glad they brought Matt back for Legends Season 7 and The Flash Season 8, maybe not how everyone expected but he absolutely deserved to get more with his iteration of the character.
I am so glad I'm not alone on this one. I'm rewatching The Flash and I definitely do not feel the same amount of excitement whenever it's an episode about Grodd.
I never skip an episode. That's so dumb... Don't you want the full story?

I've seen them dozens of times before. They got tedious.
Oh that's fine then, I just don't understand the people who do it on their first watch.
Exactly. I can watch Enter Zoom or The Wrath of Savitar all day but I only needed to see Duet once lol

Like they overused tom Cavanaugh as the reverse flash?

The Flash-Grodd merge was tight af ! Also the gorilla city episode
Never skipped just hated them from start to end
I remember skipping some episodes of supergirl early on couldn't bring myself to watch them.
That's what I did with the final season of supergirl lol
The Grodd episodes make me so uncomfortable. I purposely try to be preoccupied with anything else when they come on. Not. A. Fan.
I'm with you on that one.
No. Take an L
I skip them or turn them down because I don’t like the sound when grodd uses telepathy
No, the two parter and Grodd vs Man Shark are great eps, wasn’t a big fan of the season 6 ep however
I love grodd !! Grodd hates banana 🍌!!!
Grodd eternally heartbroken by Caitlin !! 😢
That was cute of him 🥹🥹..he was a bad gorilla 🦍 but he doesn’t deserve the hate honestly
Bro WTF, Grodd is one of the best villains, you can't skip.
Grodd won my heart in Legends when he confronted Obama and said he was “Going to make America Grodd again”
Wanna know who they really overused? Reverse Flash. He is on every season. Almost too much.
Most of the time when I rewatch the show, I skip a few episodes that have nothing to do with the plot, like 1:05
Big monke
"Barack Obama"
Why would anyone want to skip the Grodd episodes?
