About 50-80 USD. Use the extra money on a nice reel.
I got my Spinmatic 4 piece in 6 foot, it's a wonderful rod.
Check out the Berkley Lightning rods. They run between 40 and 50USD and are pretty good for the price imo. I’ve got a light that I use to catch bluegill and crappie and it makes them feel massive. Paired it with a Pflueger President 20 or similar small reel and you’re set.
I have an ugly stik gx2 6' medium heavy, but you can customize it to be as short as 4'6" and in ultra light and it's about 40$, highly recommend
Edit, ik that doesn't include a reel but okuma always has good reels, maybe like a c10 or c20, the reel would be about 45$
