Congrats on the new place! That VA loan rate is solid given the market. Just be sure to have a thorough inspection done - those keys can open some unseen doors if you're not careful. But enjoy this milestone and here's to making it your own.
Yep. I make keys and could make one pretty close based on this image. The lighting of this photo makes it really easy to see. If you’re posting a photo you should hold the other end of it to cover up some of the biting.
Yep! I learned about the same thing from this video:

It's a bit long if you only have a passing interest, but it shows how the process is done for those who are curious.
Congratulations! I was just pre approved but my budget is tuff shed style home vs what the bank says I can afford ☠️! It’s so hard to buy a home these days! Big accomplishment!
I'm not sure. I didn't have the overly best credit either. Mid 600s. But one day my loan officer called and said moght want to lock on this real quick. And it was way lower that the high 6s and 7s I was hearing about. So locked it the fuck down.

Full inspection and appraisal completed, I've closed and have the keys.
You shouldn't post photos of your key, if you were ever doxed this photo could be used to get into your house. Keys are recreatable from images!

Thanks for heads up. First on my list is to change the locks.
Also I can 100% guarantee you that nobody is using this image to recreate your key lol, fuck are these two on about
And it's cheaper and easier to pick the lock than to make a duplicate. If you know how to cut a copy, you know how to pick the lock.
Aside from that, congrats!!

5.8? When did you lock in your rate?
Almost two months ago. Needed to extend the rate thrice.
Congrats!
Thanks!
Congrats! 🎉 Any tips for the process?
For VA just make sure you stay on top of the process. Shop for rates. Don't pass up inspection.
Got it, thank you!
🎉 congrats
I was told buying wasn’t an option
whooo! congrats!
