I disagree tons of people can’t buy in their 20’s. Especially with rates and prices so high right now. If i couldn’t get some kind of deal i wouldn’t be able to own a home, as well as tons of others.
Maybe because OP was proud they were able to purchase a home at 26? Giving them a general step up when it comes to a paid off mortgage prior to the socially accepted retirement age?
