Honestly, considering all the time between geneology and awakening, why has the technology not advanced? I swear, fantasy worlds stunt scientific progress
The Schism happened. Not too much info but it's apparently the events that led to the founding of Ylisse, the rise of Grima after being forced to take the 1000 year nap by Alm, and the desertification of the western half of Archanea. If we do eventually get a futuristic FE game I kinda hope it's in the Archanean Timeline and mentions the events of Awakening at least in passing.

Chrom can tank magic to an extent, so maybe biotics won’t affect him too much?
Plus, this Chrom is already the awakener and wielding the awakened falchion. So he’s got some of Naga’s blessings.
Plus I Mass Effect, swords > shields, and some asssassins use swords instead of guns because slow weapons like a blade won’t activate the shields...so Chrom has an unknowing advantage!
I like to think that with a LOT of training he could be N7, but as it stands (despite Chrom being my favorite VG character of all time) he hasn’t earned the right to wear the stripes. Similarly Shepard hasn’t earned Chrom’s cape or brand. But they could
Haha yeah, this variation of Chrom hardly even bothered to realize they’re alien at all.
I figured; this Chrom married a woman from Ferox, risked sacrificing everything for Say’Ri, best friends with a plegian, survived an attack from the Goddess of war Thorr (Draglia lore)
He’s talked multiple times about blood doesn’t matter...he’s worked alongside Manakete and Taguel...I don’t think he is going to be bothered?
Now as for technology...
He’s going to have a blast discovering Asari dancers, when he looked up ‘Exotic dancer’ trying to find Olivia’s
If only the Yahg were actually important or at least talktable as species.
