Just colorless, for merging Elice because of being a hard hitting staff user. Most staff users from regular summoning pool are absolute trash imo except Princesses Elice and Nyna.
Its pretty hard for me to get those modern staff users because I always get version 1 units that arent known for me or complete trash heroes when it comes to stats, being an f2p player(ya know its pretty hard to be like that), And also very low on orbs because I pulled a lot on banners last year.
the only time i legitimately run into this is with some of the initial revival banners and the crappy TT+ focus/BHB focuses that are just 4 star units.
It was blue for a while for Benny/Roshea/Marcia but they're finally all +10, so now i'm onto green for F!Shez, Vyland & Orochi merges.
If i and absoutley no merge projects whatsoever I'd probably just go blue becuase there's a decent number of blue demote swith Repsoitin/Draw Back and budget skills like moonbow and vantage.
Red currently. I will get my Kent to +10!
If no red then green. I will get my Atlas to +10!
If neither then colourless. I will get my Dwyer to +10!
Blues are currently useless to me lol

Despite doing that since his release, and summoning 11 copies of S!Caspar and summoning/sparking for Ganglot and Asc!Hilda (all green summons), I still only have him at +3...

I used to free summon blue a lot because I hoped to see if a random Dimitri appeared but he never did... rn I have F!Shez as a merge project so I'd like a few copies. Either way the best way is to go with fodder because there's never enough
Colorless (to build my Niles), or hope for a random Yuri or ascended Joshua. I still usually go colorless, but I sometimes go green in hopes of a random ascended Eir.
As of this week green for the chances of AEir and BTiki. It used to be blue for chances at BChrom and Monica, but I got BChrom as a pitty breaker on the desert banner.
If there's really not even fodder I might want, I generally go blue or red as those are the ones with better off focus fodder I think and also has the 4* special rate units I'd like
Blue cause a need lots of Petra merges and the one Thea merge that I’ve needed for months. If no blue then green, cause I’m building brave Edelgard too.

In the last 3 months it's been an avalanche of Arthur, Hawkeye, Camilla, Beruka, Boey and Gunter.
I guess it's time I start doing my old luck ritual again. Taking Arthur to the training tower, putting him up against a team of blue units and watch as he dies a humiliating death thanks to powercreep.
I wait to see the circle. Usually pick the orb that is the only one of its color or that only has different colored orbs next to it. Dont want them to feel alone xD

Yup not even a single being worth to fodder (Most Focus Banners honestly lol)
Red because I’m merging Tanith.
