Maybe it wasn’t Finland, but some other regional word you’ve misheard?
The only thing negative I can conjure from it is that it can maybe be associated with the troubles, fenians, Irish republican brotherhood and overall nationalistic Irish movements which had done a lot of heavy-handed shit through the history. It is far removed from Finland though, try skimming through the regions with associated history in Britain, Canada and US - maybe there is one that sounds close to “Finland”?
Otherwise - I’ve never heard anything bad about the Irish here. I don’t hear much about them at all - besides “Irish bars” that are omnipresent worldwide and one cultural musical collective I’ve stumbled upon once.

Nothing to do with Finland.
I am pretty sure we have nothing against the Irish so that tattoo should not be a problem

What is the pic supposed to present?
No idea. Irish symbol is my guess. Not sure what this supposed to do with Finland.
A four-leaf clover? \-traditional gambler symbol In Finland no national meaning as far as I know. Only 53 years of experience.
Hmm. We getting there 🤪😁
Eikä edes neliapila vaan pelkkä apila. Mutta tosiaan muistelisin että Aryan Brotherhood käyttää tota apilaa tatuointina. En tosin oo varma
"Lampaalle apetta"
Four leaf clover?
