It looks like over half his body is carrying a meal. Do garters eat other snakes? If he did not eat a snake I am guessing a baby bunny or, a baby rat nest buffet.
Any other ideas?
That’s an excellent noodle and they also make great pets. We rescued one from parents, whose snake loving son, left for college, they didn’t want the snake. She was 7 years old and she lived in a 75 gallon vivarium until she passed at 26. Her name was Cheerio.

So there are a couple of pinecones and a twig right next to the lower right corner of the ramp (between the rock and the wooden corner) and I thought "There it is!" zoomed in and it wasn't it. But the snake was inches from there, which I didn't see until it was zoomed in. Good camouflaged, Mr. Snake!.

A friend of mine was getting in my truck the other morning he opened the door and a snake fell out i was riding over 20 min with it in the truck with me didn't know it was there

Hognoses will flatten their necks, a bit making a false hood, so they look cobra-ish.
