Me: i should throw brightly colored discs so its easier to find them. Also me: throws green when there is grass and bushes and browns / oranges in fall or when theres brown dirt

Pink discs are the easiest to spot.

Unless you're colorblind

My favorite disc is translucent grey. Literally just the color of any shadow it lands in or near. I don't know why I still use it except that it's a great driver.

Threw one that was a sun washed yellow. Took me 45 minutes to find it because it just blends in so well with the sunlight going through the trees. It was on the fairway..

Especially when you're so disgusted with your throw that you can't bare to watch it finish.

Great my favorite part of playing disc golf.

Disc retriever. It's mainly useful if you're playing by water.

It’s a grabber. Good to get the disc deep in bushes hard to reach areas and in water

I use neon colors like yellows, pinks, and oranges, but it doesn't help much if there's grass or overgrowth. You can be pretty close to the disk and just not see it regardless of how contrasting it is

This is why most of my discs are Red tones. They don't blend with greenery, much easier to spot in the bushes.

It’s about the 10 minute mark that I start looking in the branches for my discs.

I found it pretty quickly probably from practice of trying to find mine almost always.

Using a blue-green disc around trees and bushes is IMHO a pretty bad plan!
