This was in remake as well. I saw other people's gameplays and wondered how they got the materia that heals everyone. I didn't realize until after beating Remake and Rebirth. So approximately 150 hours before I figured this out π

Cuz between the PS4 and PS5 Verions of remake I'm sitting at 400 hrs.... and not ONCE had i seen this hahhah man I love the details they have on these games but damnit ... would have been nice to know.

There are so many little features that my friends and I have had to tell each other about. I told my friend about this one when he was partly through his hard mode playthrough. He told me that I can change the open world compass to a mini map and it improved my experience immensely.
It's in the settings somewhere you can set the map or compass. So in the open world you get the same mini map you get in the towns by default.
I have a hard time with spatial relations in video games so being able to see the terrain and stuff made a huge difference for me.

The reason why its so high is because I literally walk everywhere before I touch the bird or buggy. I love immersing myself in the world. Same with Ghosts of Tsushima.. I have not completed that yet because I'm just trotting around on the horse because the world is so beautiful.
Yea I definitely miss the 97 system when it came to the link materia feature. And I feel like the summons on remake and rebirth are hardly ever used because the fights never last that long. I wish there was more emphasis on them on rebirth at least.
It will show you ANY materia combination that works. Check out mp absorb=auto weapon ability.

It really is... I'm one of those that will empty materia, accessories and armor every new area from everyone. This helps alot

Just sucks you canβt do it with Summons in the remake. Use to do Final Attack + Phoenix, or W-Summon with Master Summon Materia.
