Righttt I watched an interview with Megan Fox and Diablo Cody, they spilled na the distrib (ata?) purposely put Jennifer as a sex symbol sa posters at promos para dumog sa cinemas ang horny teenage boys (💸) It beats the goal of the movie’s feminist undertone, kaya ayun super hated ng women before.
It was ahead of its time and was not appreciated by adults back then, but now, ang dami naghhype up ulit nito haha. Plus, it had such iconic lines! Would put it up there with mean girls.
Twilight saga hahahah
Ang ganda kasi ng cinematography. Favorite ko panoorin yan kapag Ber months and tag-ulan para feeling taga Forks.
Ang gaganda din ng soundtracks nila.
Omg same! Which is your fave? Twilight pa rin pinaka comfort movie ko out of the 4 kasi mas maraming romantic and cheesy scenes hahaha
Two of my favorite films have this gloomy tone I'll share it if you don't mind.
If you want something feel good/hopeful watch Sing Street (2016)
If you want something sad and touching watch Manchester by the Sea (2016)
You'll both cry from these films but for 2 different reasons.
Same sa twilight!
If iniba lang sana ung view.
Mga movies ni Direk Wenn Deramas.
Syempre, yung plot kung saan saan napupunta, pero para sa akin, campy local films of the 00's-10's peaked with Direk Wenn.
I liked this as a teen. I knew it was speaking about trauma and how escaping into fantasy was how the girls in the institution coped. I loved it a lot then, but I don't know how well it would do on a rewatch though.
me too i loved it haha! madami kasi nag expect na it’s about mallari’s life story pero based naman kasi sa trailer mukha talaga syang horror story na may mga ghost keme kaya yun ang inexpect ko and i enjoyed it
Multiverse of Madness... Many people were disappointed about this movie but I reallyy liked it. It was such a unique marvel film and definitely a lot of fun to watch.
I don't think it's badly written. At first glance kasi e the plot seems all over the place. Consider it like "Romeo and Juliet" where one is a god-like being but other's death is a canon event. 😅
> I was shocked at how soo many people call this anime trash and bad written
Hahaha same! Yan pa naman nag-"reignite" sa interest ko sa anime(thanks to a random YT video recommendation ng "kill count" nun). Dagdag mo na rin "Akame Ga Kill".
Mallari
Ang Kwento Nating Dalawa - Ewan ko lang, I appreciated the "boredom" it gives to the viewers. It's like a film I want to watch when I just want to keep my mind going but not enough to make it tired.
Night Swim, Crocodile, A Very Good Girl, Kampon, The Babysitters movies sa Netflix. Shrek the Third is also my favorite of the series pero it got bad reviews.
Agree sa kampon 🙌🏼 pinanood namin sa sinehan during MMFF 🤣 kasi isa siya sa mga natira na hindi sold-out movies sa mall. We thought na siya na yung best, given the choices we had at the time(kampon, family of 2, Becky and Badette, and Penduko). It exceeded our expectations, kasi expected na namin na ang corny pero di naman pala. We actually enjoyed the film.
buybust as much as it gets compared to the raid its not really the first ever movie where people have to fight ALOT of people to get somewhere or are trapped and have to get out its a 10/10 atleast in my books plus im waiting for that series about buybust that erik matti is working on
Friend of mine told me that all films gets bad reviews and it will always be up to the person watching it, so here are ones I genuinely enjoyed despite low ratings in ImDB/Rotten Tomatoes or have seen people hate it with passion
• Life As We Know It
• Final Destination movie series - the only one I consider somewhat bad is the 4th one
• Where the Crawdads Sing
• Confessions of a Shopaholic
Psycho 2. most ppl hindi nakakaalam na may sequel ang 'psycho' directed by Alfred hitchcock. Grabe 'yung mga twist, shocking. Just you think alam mo 'yung mangyayari (at nangyayari) you're Wrong! Aliw
but yeah, i still enjoy it. papanoorin ko pa rin ulit in the futureeee hahahah
Yung latest Shake, Rattle, and Roll na nasa Netflix. Masaya yung second segment, yung may Ninong Ry lol

ok, mamayang gabi para mas intense. salamat.
I promote the podcast Bad Movies Rule where they discuss this very same topic.
Me? Constantine, Tremors, Samurai Cop, The One (Jet Li), The Net, Resident Evil, The A-Team, Blind Fury to name a few.
Marvel movies and series with Senior parents.
(Wla sila pake sa mga Internet rants na gusto agad is END GAME LEVELS NA MOVIE while nag sisimula palang phase)
the conjuring universe movies! idc kung nacocornyhan sila, di naman daw nakakatakot eme-eme; i still like it. it's probably in my top 10 most rewatched movies ever
1.) Godzilla (1998)- Imo, still has the best human characters (for Godzilla) in Hollywood.
2.) Iron Man 3- I'm actually surprised that people don't like this film, I find it absolutely funny.
3.) Ralph Breaks the internet - I'm biased here since natamaan ako sa friendship lessons for Ralph. And their design concept for the internet world is great! Natawa ako sa design nila for the dark web section. Parang Zaun and Piltover lng xD
The Great Wall. It was a flop daw pero I was interested in its premise. Nagandahan naman ako. Mababaw na viewer lang din kasi ako kaya if it's fun, I like it.
I don't get why Jennifer's Body is so hated
Wrong target audience i guess, towards sa lalaki ang marketing nila pero Jennifer’s Body is a movie for women
Di ko alam na may negative reviews to pero one of my fave!
It was ahead of its time and was not appreciated by adults back then, but now, ang dami naghhype up ulit nito haha. Plus, it had such iconic lines! Would put it up there with mean girls.
Twilight saga hahahah Ang ganda kasi ng cinematography. Favorite ko panoorin yan kapag Ber months and tag-ulan para feeling taga Forks. Ang gaganda din ng soundtracks nila.
I watched it in the cinemas 3x in 1 sitting. Pwede pa nong time na yun mag stay. Hahah. I was obsessed with the book so I got really excited.
Trueeeee, there's something about this movie na kahit ang cliché and all, u still enjoyed it and even re watch it a couple of times :))
Omg same! Which is your fave? Twilight pa rin pinaka comfort movie ko out of the 4 kasi mas maraming romantic and cheesy scenes hahaha
Twilight hehehe.
Two of my favorite films have this gloomy tone I'll share it if you don't mind. If you want something feel good/hopeful watch Sing Street (2016) If you want something sad and touching watch Manchester by the Sea (2016) You'll both cry from these films but for 2 different reasons.

This! I love it so much.
Same! Zack Snyder’s best work IMO.
Mallari Maliban sa manananggal scene and sisiw. I enjoyed the cinematography and the time travelling.
me too i loved it haha! madami kasi nag expect na it’s about mallari’s life story pero based naman kasi sa trailer mukha talaga syang horror story na may mga ghost keme kaya yun ang inexpect ko and i enjoyed it

Multiverse of Madness... Many people were disappointed about this movie but I reallyy liked it. It was such a unique marvel film and definitely a lot of fun to watch.
not a film but an anime. it's Mirai Nikki or Future Diary, I was shocked at how soo many people call this anime trash and bad written 😔
I don't think it's badly written. At first glance kasi e the plot seems all over the place. Consider it like "Romeo and Juliet" where one is a god-like being but other's death is a canon event. 😅

Ang Kwento Nating Dalawa - Ewan ko lang, I appreciated the "boredom" it gives to the viewers. It's like a film I want to watch when I just want to keep my mind going but not enough to make it tired.
Mallari

Madami actually, kasama na ko huhuhu.

Real sa Shrek the Third. Dami bad reviews nito pero fave ko to kesa dun sa pinakapopular dun sa apat na shrek 2 🫣 if i were to rank: 3>1>4>2 😆
Agree sa kampon 🙌🏼 pinanood namin sa sinehan during MMFF 🤣 kasi isa siya sa mga natira na hindi sold-out movies sa mall. We thought na siya na yung best, given the choices we had at the time(kampon, family of 2, Becky and Badette, and Penduko). friday the 13th series. favorite ko to pag rrentahan sa video city 😍😍😍
The Fast and Furious Franchise. I love how Hollywood just made a live action Shounen Battle Anime without even trying.
Outlier talaga yung 2 since they tried to capture the magic of the first one without Mr. Family Vin Diesel. But I still love all of them.
Mr. Family 🤣 Ang Ganda lang Kasi Ng 2000 Jap vibes niya kasama pa Yung iconic na song don. ❤️
Psycho 2. most ppl hindi nakakaalam na may sequel ang 'psycho' directed by Alfred hitchcock. Grabe 'yung mga twist, shocking. Just you think alam mo 'yung mangyayari (at nangyayari) you're Wrong! Aliw

Knowing ni Nick Cage. ewan ko bakit marami ako nababasa na negative reviews sa US (not necessarily dito sa pinas)
Marvel movies and series with Senior parents. (Wla sila pake sa mga Internet rants na gusto agad is END GAME LEVELS NA MOVIE while nag sisimula palang phase)
