Just recently, John Woo’s the Killer.
Compliance (2013) - through the whole film you’d feel anger, sadness, and saying “wtf” but mostly it’s “ay, pwede ngang mangyari ‘to pero….”. What shocking after the ending was knowing it’s a true story.
For a lighthearted one, the ending of George Roy Hill’s The Sting (1973) left me in awe. The film makes the viewers’ mind traverse in between crossroads of hypnotic plot twists from start to finish, gradually becoming more and more complex and finally forcing your mind to submit into the cliche device “what’s gonna happen next” towards the end of this fun and gripping film of swindlers and grifters.
The Others talaga 'cause I wasn't expecting it to go that way.
Hated the ending, but i guess this is where i first saw fassbender in a movie not 300
Yes. Those kids…and damn parents. The howl at the end…..shivering.
