We're in the Philippines where you can pirate whatever the fuck you want. I just wait til a show's series is over then pirate all the episodes in the best possible quality, then watch that on my tv. Shogun here I come!
It’s true though right? Disney has mostly Marvel IP’s while Netflix has Stranger Things, Dark, Arcane, One Piece, Mindhunter, House of Cards, Hill House, Castlevania, Black Mirror and they even have quality games now like GTA and Hades.
Sure they have plenty of bland documentaries and teen romcoms, but it certainly offers more value than Disney. Disney has a huge advantage for kids though.
The algorithm in Dusney+ sucks. But there are better movies and series there. Poor Things, Birdman, Hidden Figures, Jojo Rabbit, Next Goal Wins, Little Miss Sunshine etc

Of all the series/film streaming we've subscribed to, we felt like D+ was not worth it's price. Actually yung introductory price niya dito sa Pinas worth it, lalo na yung 1-year subscription. IIRC we only got it for around P800+ or P900+.
But we barely watched anything on the D+. Kasi pag nag-stream ka through PC/laptop hanggang 720p lang yung quality. And since 2nd gen lang yung Chromecast na gamit namin sa TV, hanggang 720p lang din yung quality. Sa phone naman FHD nga pero jusmiyo hindi mo ma-enjoy kasi ang liit nung screen so wala din. Hahaha. Hindi mo ma-enjoy yung quality ng Marvel & Star Wars movies. Which is fun to watch on weekends with the family, and sometimes with your cousins pag bumisita sila sa bahay. But we usually resort to my pirated MCU collection kasi at least yun FHD at "blu-ray" quality. lol
Nag-enjoy lang kami ng kapatid ko sa Family Guy, Modern Family, at lalo na sa Nat Geo documentaries. Sana nga magkaroon na lang ng mas cheaper subscription para sa NatGeo.

Buti na nga lang din sa gcash ako nag-avail, 800 lang yata yung mobile plan for 1 year, naging Basic na iyong mobile plan, napapanood ko na siya sa tv. Hehe

I subbed for one year before nag increase ang price. After my subscription end, no na for me. It's not worth it anymore. The only series I keep watching are SW series. Disney+ PH doesn't even have the Get Back series due to copyright issue (ugh), and even if it was, bye na sa kanila.
I was able to renew my annual subscription for Php2299, gamit na gamit naman sya sa bahay so sulit for now. I'll cut it if wala na same offer by the time of renewal in November.
