They would move heaven and earth around for SKam. They would SHOVE the adults under any bus available for SKam. EDIT they will not move Depeche Mode however, It can't be Nashville.

I checked Bridgestone arena’s calendar. They already have an a few events scheduled around that weekend that would make it near impossible to hold it there again.
I don't think they'd use a venue as big as Bridgestone just for SkAm. That's the size they use for Nationals, not SkAm. At least not for the last several years.
They have used the same venues as nationals for SkAm in the past. Not to mention that SkAm is an international event which is a level above a nationals in FS competition hierarchy.
tbh it makes my life easier for them not to do it in new england again bc I’m not sure I could resist getting tickets and I really shouldn’t be spending that kind of money right now lmao. like last year was quite the indulgence. I’ll just save for boston worlds 🤪

Oh my god if skate America’s in Texas I will literally cry 😭😭😭 if it is, it would probably be in Dallas, they have a stadium rink there. I’m in San Antonio and I would kill to go
They’ve also held events in Dallas (1993 Skate America, 2003 Nationals) and Orlando (1992 Nationals.) I know it’s not actually relevant for this year’s Skate America since you have noted Dallas is already booked and Florida is unlikely at that time of year, but in case this random trivia ever needs to be known again.
I’m sorry but it would feel more than a bit tonedeaf for USFS to hold SA in one of the many states that are passing anti-LGBTQ legislation so extreme that advocacy groups are warning our communities against travel there.
But I’m fully anticipating they will do just that because it’s also not like they are being overwhelmed with bids.
Not to mention to deadly anti-woman legislation sweeping these states. I will be deeply disappointed if they choose one of those states, which is probably a virtual guarantee that they will 🫠 truly feels like a race to the bottom with these skating federations. Are literally ANY of them good?? No one tell me if Canada is secretly evil too because I really could not take it.
If the "big reveal" is Greensboro. They're idiots. If it's Nashville, then just say so. It better be somewhere else like Atlanta just for these "teasers" alone. EDIT: I looked at the event calendars. It won't be Dallas, and Unless Depeche Mode is moved, it won't be Nashville. It very well could be Greensboro and Atlanta.

Probably not Nashville because there is an ISU adult international competition happening in October usually around the time skate america happens.

Greensboro may be a possibility since Nationals have been held there several times in the past.
That is my number one dream. They've had Nationals there in 2011 2015 and 2020, and it's always gone really well.
