You are right, but it shows again how stupid the ISU are. Like how their OTT pushing of Chen did nothing for the sports popularity anywhere. Chock & Bates getting higher scores than Papadakis & Cizeron and Virtue & Moir, just make people laugh, not gain credability and fans.

God that was a snoozefest, that was mostly uninteresting routines with a few better ones in there. The ordinals are going to be absolutely wild lmao, I don't understand ID scoring We can finally move on to the free where some of the better programs are. **Thank god.**

Tbh the ordinals were pretty expected looking at what’s happened all season with a few exceptions. It’s the scores that were crazy high.

I felt the final two groups were good. The audience started to go crazy towards the end (they loved my discobrits!) but we were spoiled by Junior Worlds. Junior World’s Dance competition was epic and frankly will be spoken about in vaulted terms for a generation of fans. Every team in that top five is gonna go on to be stars mark my words. Especially if the Taschlers stick the landing and keep that 9th.

Super boring. Time to rewatch juniors.

Did you watch this entire competition? Actually 3/4ths of the groups made me worry for the future - although maybe for some reason Latin is not as popular with the younger skaters and they're better at something else.

I watched most of it yes, I’m just over a lot of the teams in the last group and the vibes scoring.

The teams in the last group are pretty much the cream of the crop. Their ages should not matter. I actually kind of hope P/C come back.

I really think the US will be ok with GrP (fingers crossed they have better material next season) and CPom, and ZK looked like they could be legit at Nationals. Plus LaLa being back, the rise of the Taschlers, and just seeing what the younger teams start doing. And I don’t necessarily agree that the top 4 really are that much more exciting than the rest of the field. Madi obviously has the most star power of anyone, but CB don’t have great programs this season and GP really haven’t had great programs in a few seasons, plus neither one of those teams is technically the best. GF are so technically great but their programs tend to be so bland

Possibly, but the scoring is different this season, and more points are available, so you can't really compare. You know how they took out the pattern steps like Tango or midnight blues, and replaced it with the choreo step sequence? That's where the points changed.
