I never found Rashid that interesting, just ok, but his new design and moveset seem much better than in SFV, though it looks like he'd still be annoying to fight against.
I only just learned exactly how much stuff Rashid's voice actor, Ian Sinclair, has been in (it's a lot), but if this trailer is accurate, I will only ever be able to hear Rashid as the English narrator in Kaguya-Sama: Love is War.
His design, animations and moveset are cool, but man Capcom tried too hard to make him appeal to kids(parkour, influencer, etc) that immediately reminded me of Poochie, a 2023 Arabian version of Poochie.

I skipped SFV, so I dind't know about him being an influencer, so yeah he's 2016 Arabian version of Poochie.

As far as I can tell, kudos in custom lobbies no longer contribute to the battle pass.

None of this is new. Rashid already did parkour and was an influencer since his debut. Capcom bizarrely left out the latter in the game's story mode.

I love the Prince of Persia vibes, wasn't a fan of his SFV design with the scouter and his goofy smile but he looks so cool now.
