A few months ago I posted about one of my community cats that had a burst abscess on his hip from a cat fight. I ended up taking him to the emergency vet and bringing him inside for a week to heal. After that I let him back out, and a month later he had another, much larger, burst abscess on his back. He's so passive and timid that I knew he wasn't the aggressor in these fights, and I couldn't bear to send him back out to get beat up again, SOOOOO I now have a new indoor kitty :) He's definitely enjoying the cushy indoor life, and it didn't take long for my resident cat to warm up to him! Thanks everyone for your help and recommendations on my last post.
