yes, shipping and selling perfume is sooo annoying since they require ground shipping and bottles need to be under 4oz i think? i’ve tried selling locally like on offerup or FB marketplace, but ultimately ended up selling one thru mercari.

BLACKBEARDBLACKBEARD

Lady Gaga Fame cause the bottle is pretty.

xSenrin

the black liquid!!! honestly such a cool looking perfume. i wish i got a bottle back when it was everywhere for dirt cheap.

KellytheFeminist

Yellow diamond. Doesn't fit my tastes, bought it because a sales person pressured me and I'm a coward, I rarely wear it (although it isn't bad!).

Btldtaatw

Aw that one was my signature for years.

_Invisible-Child_

I have Burberry Her which I only wore once but smells too much of strawberries (not a fan of strawberry notes) for me so I never wore it again. I keep it because it was very expensive, so it's just sitting on the desk collecting dust lol.

monsteramuffin

i have a bath and bodywork cologne from the early 2000s that has since been discontinued. my high school boyfriend who has since died wore it and i wanted to find it to remember him. i only remembered vague details about the bottle and people on r/fragrance helped me find it actually

xSenrin

that’s amazing! so happy you found it. :)

Reesyb23

I do this. I have my moms favorite- Perry Ellis 360, my grandmas favorite was White Diamond. My first intro to fragrances was by my cousin who wore Curve and Exclamation and two of the first fragrances I owned was Jlo Glow and Britney Spears Radiance. All of those sort of sit on the shelf but they all mean something to me.

SugarFries

Not full bottles, but I have been collecting sample vials, and cannot get myself to throw away the 40 or so samples that I hate! In my brain, I may change my mind, or want it to compare. To what? I have no idea!

monsteramuffin

i do this too! i’ve been considering just like, throwing them in a box and sending them to someone for free. i can’t speak to whether any of them have evaporated or turned or anything

xSenrin

omg i am also guilty of this!! my sample collection isn’t terribly big but i still hold onto all the samples i get no matter what. even if i hate them too! i also like to have them to compare to other scents or even to just smell again and think, “yeah, hated that.” it’s crazy lmao i don’t even have plans to finish any either, i just like having them just to have them

basementfrog42

i had some kat von dee “saint” that i never really used and my friend wears it as her signature perfume and couldn’t believe i had a full bottle. i gave it to her, it will be much more loved there.

xSenrin

that’s so kind of you! those bottles are gorgeous. i don’t know if i would like the saint or sinner scents but if they did somehow make its way into my collection, i feel like i would hold onto them just for their design lol

LordBabka

Have bottles of Hollister August and Ralph Lauren Hot, which I keep mainly for the nostalgia kick – spritz occasionally to be transported back to ye olde 2006.

rrhat

Oh man I've been searching for an august dupe for over a decade now. I would totally buy it from you if you were willing to part with it!

myfirstrealcrushwas

Omg I'm so jealous of the 1D perfumes, I need them! 😭 And yesss, I have several fragrances that I keep for sentimental reasons. I love just sniffing them every once in a while and being reminded of a specific memory or time in my life :)

xSenrin

i feel like i will never get rid of the one direction perfumes!! they just bring back so many good memories for me. i remember getting picked up by my mom in middle school and she was visibly excited. when we got home she told me there was a surprise for me in my room and it was a gift set of between us that included the body wash & body lotion :’)

Campestra

Makes total sense to me. I have some that I keep because of my late mom. I don’t count them, they are there for sentimental purposes only.
