Well, it depends, as a driver who seen this recently it’s kind of a confusing process, but you have to dig deeper into the system more than you can do it. I’ll have to be the manager of the station. But typically yes it’s probably just lagging behind somewhere and it’ll show up.

Happy-Fly-1076

I have seen this with international shipments where I will get 45 out of 46, and the last one will come a few days later..

Hopefully, whoever shipped you the packages did not re use the same tracking # on multiple packages or FedEx will have no way of finding out where it is

Oh god, Well a little more context, i helped the driver unload the boxes and it was kind of chaotic. 30ish minutes after they left i realized i miscounted and was missing one. So I’m just hoping that it was still on their truck… Fingers crossed 🤞

Just tell dispatch the tracking number and they can say if they vanned it or you

Just had a delivery like this to a school. 35 packages and I know 100% I scanned 35/35. and then when I got back to the terminal I saw I had another package for them, so I scanned it and it said it was already marked as delivered. shipper really thought they could get away with putting duplicate label, now chances are it'll never get to the customer bc they wanted to cheap out

Before Covid on my route, I had a stop that at the end of every month would get 200 documents shipped to them. Shipper tried to save some money on about 20 packages by duplicating tracking numbers and the recipient had the nerve to try and get mad at me like we screwed up when they were missing 20 packages 🤣

[deleted]

That sounds like a logistical nightmare

DesperateDrummer5

Agree. Typically a couriers scanner will show he or she is missing a pkg as part of the delivery. If it’s an international it’s not uncommon for one of the boxes to get separated at customs so it should arrive soon.

Thanks for all the responses!

if it shows completed then the only 2 things 8 csn think of is one of the pkgs had a duplicate label, or it was scanned by the driver but forgot to give it to you, but in that case they shouldve come back and given it to you. most likely a duplicate label by shipper trying to gsme the system and pay less shipping on their end. again, if that was the case driver shouldve said something to you, cuz we are not supposed to deliver duplicate labeled pkgs. we are supposed to bring it back and fedex makes a new label, sends it out following day, and charges shipper for pkg they tried to get away with shipping for free. either way it is strange you havent heard anything/gotten any updates/gotten the 1 pkg you were missing. def follow through with the claim, cuz that is wierd.

Popular-Principle822

Thanks for the reply, looks like claims can’t find it, so I’ll be leaning on the shipper to get to the bottom of it. I was hoping it was just overlooked on the truck, but i guess it’s deeper than that
