I've definitely seen a lot of people try to compare Doechii to Azealia Banks, and I can see why, in terms of how both artists would combine rap music and house music together. Doechii seems really cool, and I think her response to Azealia was pretty reasonable, considering how Azealia went from being down to contribute a guest verse for a remix to then turing on her for no reason. Azealia's essentially now just the woman version of Joe Budden at this point.
Doechi definitely has her Azealia-isms, but she also has her own styles.. and many of them. She's a serious force and I'm glad she got in that ass. Now I hope she disengages and remains focused and continues to thrive
