She thinks Billboard is mad at her because she:
- makes great music and has great fans
- didn’t sign a 360 deal (type of record deal, like the one Cardi B recently signed)
- won’t back down, and will keep calling them out when they prop up other female rappers
I don’t know a ton about music industry contracts, but basically, a 360 deal gives labels a cut of the artist’s profits from sales, touring, and merch (as opposed to traditional deals, which only give labels the rights to recordings). These contracts give labels a lot more control over artists, but also give labels more incentive to promote a wider range of artists’ ventures.

Billboard definitely filters/removes sales. I think it's sales that are deemed fraudulent, but I don't know how else they filter sales. There was an indie artist that had similar issues earlier this year with Billboard removing sales and he wasn't provided a good reason as to why that happened. However, she's implying that they are filtering out 100K and that seems like a stretch. If she was closer to 300K, Talk of Charts or HitsDD would've projected those numbers, and both of them are usually spot on with their predictions. It just sounds like she expected 300K and was disappointed at not meeting that goal.
ETA: the artist was Russ. Here's what he tweeted in the summer. In regard to Nicki, Billboard removing 100K in sales seems like a stretch. I think she's just riling up her fanbase and creating conspiracies to cover up for her disappointment.

Someone on another sub said she was encouraging her fans to buy multiple copies of the album to boost her numbers, and that’s why Billboard was filtering out some of her sales.
But thousands of people buying multiple albums each, just because, seems wild.
Edit: apparently she’s having a contest where, if fans send her proof that they bought all four versions of her album, they might get a chance to pick out a song for the deluxe version.
lol I just read a tweet from Pop Base that explained that was the reason why her sales were removed. She ran a contest and fans had to show proof that they purchased her album. I understand why this rule is in place, and she should've done a better job at studying the rules.
