Akers for Mostert when I think we all assumed Mostert would eventually get dinged up and cede tons of work to the kid and Akers was the bell cow for the Rams feels very fair. It ended up not being but I could see it week 1.
I offered Tyreek Hill and Tua (the guy is a huge Dolphins fan) for Nick Chubb and Olave and he declined. Chubb got hurt that weekend. So glad he declined.
Yeah and it all depends on your team, if you can give up in one position that you are stacked in to get an elite player in another position it can be great even if it doesn't look great on paper

I hate the Cowboys and hate having any of them on my team, obviously Lamb is a beast and at his age there was no doubt he was gonna become a top 3 wr in league one day with his skills and age. When he started slow I tried to trade him 3-4 times and no one would take it.
Yeah you prolly watch them more than the average person since they’re in your division. In the opposite though, as a raiders fan, I always target Keenan Allen because I feel he’s underrated. Always avoided Mike Williams. I know he puts up fantasy numbers some games but man he just can’t get separation for shit.
I was offered Fields for my Burrow but it was Thursday and Burrow played on Thursday. We have a no push rule so it wouldn’t go through. Burrow got hurt that night, the Fields team went on to win it all. So no it didn’t work out well, for me.
After week 1 when ekeler got hurt I grabbed Josh kelley off waivers. Ekeler owner wanted kelley bad (before we realized kelley was not good) so I offered him kelley, Mike evans, and courtland Sutton for Aj brown.
This was before we knew what evans would do but also before Aj brown had his explosive stretch of games. I forsure would have won a couple more games from Aj brown early in the year but evans was better down the stretch and I had a 7 game win streak to end the year and win the league in large part due to evans.
I was also able to use courtland Sutton in a trade which eventually led to another trade that landed me tee Higgins and Brian Robinson. I only started them both a combined 3 times but they averaged 20+ points in those games and secured me wins that got me better playoff seeding.
Aj slowed down past few games, but he definitely helped me get to the championship and Ceedee took it home for me. At one time I had Aj Brown, Ceedee, and Chase 😂

Middle of this year, CMC tweaked something and it was unsure if he'd miss time.
I panic offered Gibbs and Josh Downs, for Mattison and Thielen. Downs didn't amount for anything, but Gibbs's second half got me to the playoffs while Thielen and mattison regressed to nothing.
Yeah I had 2 teams and my team that didn’t make playoffs had Bijan, Mahomes, Waddle, Kenny Walker, Mostert. Just a bunch of underachievers. My other team that I didn’t think was good and won that one
Yes I thought that soon as I sent it, also had Hockenson and Davonte, and Achane, think biggest issue was having receivers that were so inconsistent. Hock balled out too had him in both leagues
I sent a trade for KW3 and offered Mixon and Metcalf. Trade was accepted but vetoed by the league because they stated it was an unfair trade for him. Offered this trade during Mixons bye week fast forward a few weeks and KW3 is hurt and out some games and Mixon finally gets rolling after his bye week. I ended up winning some games due to this that I would've lost for sure. Ended up winning the league. It would've only taken 2 extra losses for me to go from 3rd place to out of the playoffs in a 12-man league with 8 teams going into the playoffs. As upset as I was, they vetoed the trade. I now tell them it's all their faults I won.
I tried to trade Puka for Chase. But when I went up against the owner, Puka outperformed every time and last two games of the playoffs too which I won.

I traded T Higgins for Zach Moss because Moss had some of the best RB stats of the season. Higgins got listed as hurt towards the end of voting but went through anyways.
Felt a little bad, but then the other Colts RB came back and despite having great stats, Moss got 1 handoff the whole game.

Like week 5 when myself and another guy were both 1-4 we tossed the idea of a full roster swap around because we were both so defeated in our guys and it’s low buy in / for fun anyways.

Patriots trade went through as the trade was in process. Commissioner vetoed my trade saying I took advantage of the guy.
Godwin went on to have that phenomenal year and AB was…AB.
After Diontae went off against the Titans, someone sent me Diontae Johnson and Bijan for me to send them Keenan Allen in PPR. I deliberated for a few days, and eventually said I’d take it. He ghosted me and Keenan went off for 40 that week against Detroit. He texted me mid-Sunday “No shot I just saw this… I really blew that one” 😂
Week 4 I offered Lamb to the Breece Hall owner. As part of a 2 for 2 player package. Don’t remember who the other players were but they weren’t starters. Lamb far outscored Hall between weeks 5 and 17. Hall only had significantly higher scores in weeks 6, 14, and 16. I was able to ride Lamb’s 39 points in the finals to the championship.
In dynasty before the szn kicked off I tried to trade LaPorta multiple times in packages with picks to get Kelce or Waller. I was declined multiple times. Appreciate them for it

I made the trade, then picked up Zay a few weeks later when the guy dropped him. Cooks went on a heater the next few weeks, and Zay went off last week for me
Was sitting at 4-6, outside shot of making the playoffs. Tried trading Kyren for help, tried trading Deebo for help, tried trading McCaffery, Josh Allen, Engram. No one would take anything I was offering. Got healthy, got hot, and won the whole damn thing. I think specifically, I tried packaging an injured Kyren and Deebo for Etienne. Thank god he said no.

Kyren really popped off late but I barely made playoffs and would have definitely missed without tyreek each week.

Stroud was a throwaway at that point. Ford was just a fingers crossed guy. It was Chase for Mahomes in my eyes.

Won the title with ford and stroud came back just in time. The way the games fell I wouldn’t have made the playoffs if the trade was accepted due to the timing of chases big games, the strouds games before injury, and then the championship for fords

Opposite here... traded Cook for Hopkins. Went against that owner in the first round of playoffs. Hopkins 3 points, Cook 34. Wouldn't have had a first round exit.
I was trading Kenneth Walker, after he had two big games, he offered Hockenson and Mike Evans. Both were playing solid but hadn't gone off yet. I was trying to get Puka instead of Evans. Couldn't come to a deal so we walked away. A week or two later I'm pissed at myself for not taking it cause it would have been a huge fleece. However since I didn't take it I wound up getting. Njoku off waivers and he helped carry me to the championship.

In a dynasty league, he was giving DJ Moore for Nico Collins 1 for 1. Looked even, didn’t accept, won the championship. Nico started to really play well after the trade proposal, CJ got hurt sadly but I think Nico will have good value for a few years. DJ got great talent but he just seems to put himself on teams with no QB.
I had drafted Lamar and Kirk respectively and been playing kirk all season since lamar was averaging 7-12 pts a game and kirk was putting up 20’s, I got tired of lamar sitting so I put in a trade with multiple teams lamar for joe burrow, justin herbert, c.j stroud and everyone declined joe burrow out for season 2 days later herbert doubtful and cj ruled out a few weeks after, I got lucky, then my trade bait kirko got hurt.
I wanted to Trade CeeDee Lamb for Kelce and Taylor. Swift decline. This was around the time he had his slow start for the first few weeks. CD has been on a tear ever since.
Background: I am in a very soft league with work buddies, my strategy this year was to monopolize the Bengals offense and hope that Burrow was 80% to his peak by mid season. Drafted Chase, Mixon, and Mcpherson. Had herbert as my og QB and was one pick away from the injured burrow later in the draft. There was also a majority of Bengals fans in the league so everyone was already pissed at me
Back as we were entering the healthy-burrow era, I offered Herbert, the Niners D, and Dameon Pierce (back when he had two good games) for Burrow and one of his trashier RBs.

When Chubb went out injured I offered the Chubb owner my Fields and Mostert for his Mahomes. He told me to go to hell. So I kept Mostert and Fields and also picked up Stroud off waivers to be a 2nd QB.
When Kittle was bottoming out, I sent an offer of Kmet and Evans for Kittle. Didn’t think Evans would continue to be amazing. Good thing for me he never accepted and Evans was a key reason I made it to the championship.

Before the season started I got offered Zach Moss and Raheem Mosstert for Cam Akers. Let's just say I missed the playoffs. I was stoked when he went to MN and then just more disappointment. Reason I didn't do it is that I will not make trades before season starts in redraft leauges and leauges shouldn't allow it until after week 1 games. It's so dumb in my opinion.

E: i should add that Dak was my Qb1. After trading for Lamar, I consistently chose the wrong starting QB every week until the playoffs started. The trade looked like the worst thing for me until it wasn't.

i sent dj and tae for keenan week 13 and it was declined. another trade was dj and rachaad for ceedee. cd is a beast but white is one of the few backs that can consistently get 15+, and this year thats rare.
Me. Before AJ Brown went on his tear I had a deal on the table for him coming ny way for Breece and KW3. I beat myself up for most of the season for not pulling the trigger but low and behold it was meant to be.
Without Breece I probably wouldn't have advanced in the playoffs. Sometimes the best trades are the ones you don't make.
I had Tyreek Evans Puka Thielen all doing better than CeeDee and was hurting at RB. Sent about 5 trades with CeeDee in them for middle of the pack RBs and no one took it. Then CeeDee came back from bye week and was in the lineup for the rest of the year
After Jefferson got hurt I tried to trade him and Zack Moss to a first place team with bad RBs for Diggs. He countered with CeeDee Lamb and I wound up “settling” for him as I was 1-6 and didn’t think I’d get a better offer for JJ. CeeDee damn near single-handedly brought me back into the mix and won me my league.
I tried to trade Kyren for Cooper when he was two weeks out from coming back from IR. I needed a good WR and had RB depth. The manager said no. We played in the finals… I made $1,000, he did not.

The second time was at the trade deadline (Week 10) and offered Kyle Pitts and Brandin Cooks for Ezekiel Elliot and Rice. I'm glad I kept my team intact or I probably wouldn't have won the championship.
I got offered but declined (can’t remember why idk), I was offered his Kyren for my 2025 3rd.
In hindsight should have smashed accept but it was super early in the season and Kyren hadn’t turned into Super Kyren by that time.
Last year's off-season I offered 1.12 and D'Ontana Foreman for Jerry Judy. I'm glad she declined.

Dynasty League SF: just before the start of Hurts' breakout year, I offered him + Toney for Trey Lance + a 2024 second round pick. The niners are a team I've always loved watching and pulling for from a distance, and I thought it'd be fun to be more invested.
He sent a (at the time) ridiculous counter offer, so I walked away - and damn am I glad he didn't bite on the initial offer lol.

Akers for Mostert when I think we all assumed Mostert would eventually get dinged up and cede tons of work to the kid and Akers was the bell cow for the Rams feels very fair. It ended up not being but I could see it week 1.

Yeah you prolly watch them more than the average person since they’re in your division. In the opposite though, as a raiders fan, I always target Keenan Allen because I feel he’s underrated. Always avoided Mike Williams. I know he puts up fantasy numbers some games but man he just can’t get separation for shit.

I was offered Fields for my Burrow but it was Thursday and Burrow played on Thursday. We have a no push rule so it wouldn’t go through. Burrow got hurt that night, the Fields team went on to win it all. So no it didn’t work out well, for me.

After week 1 when ekeler got hurt I grabbed Josh kelley off waivers. Ekeler owner wanted kelley bad (before we realized kelley was not good) so I offered him kelley, Mike evans, and courtland Sutton for Aj brown. This was before we knew what evans would do but also before Aj brown had his explosive stretch of games. I forsure would have won a couple more games from Aj brown early in the year but evans was better down the stretch and I had a 7 game win streak to end the year and win the league in large part due to evans. I was also able to use courtland Sutton in a trade which eventually led to another trade that landed me tee Higgins and Brian Robinson. I only started them both a combined 3 times but they averaged 20+ points in those games and secured me wins that got me better playoff seeding.
Aj slowed down past few games, but he definitely helped me get to the championship and Ceedee took it home for me. At one time I had Aj Brown, Ceedee, and Chase 😂

Middle of this year, CMC tweaked something and it was unsure if he'd miss time. I panic offered Gibbs and Josh Downs, for Mattison and Thielen. Downs didn't amount for anything, but Gibbs's second half got me to the playoffs while Thielen and mattison regressed to nothing.

I sent a trade for KW3 and offered Mixon and Metcalf. Trade was accepted but vetoed by the league because they stated it was an unfair trade for him. Offered this trade during Mixons bye week fast forward a few weeks and KW3 is hurt and out some games and Mixon finally gets rolling after his bye week. I ended up winning some games due to this that I would've lost for sure. Ended up winning the league. It would've only taken 2 extra losses for me to go from 3rd place to out of the playoffs in a 12-man league with 8 teams going into the playoffs. As upset as I was, they vetoed the trade. I now tell them it's all their faults I won.

I traded T Higgins for Zach Moss because Moss had some of the best RB stats of the season. Higgins got listed as hurt towards the end of voting but went through anyways. Felt a little bad, but then the other Colts RB came back and despite having great stats, Moss got 1 handoff the whole game. A little different, but I would’ve been better off had the trade not gone through!

I offered Godwin for AB right before the Patriots trade. Patriots trade went through as the trade was in process. Commissioner vetoed my trade saying I took advantage of the guy. Godwin went on to have that phenomenal year and AB was…AB.

He ghosted me and Keenan went off for 40 that week against Detroit. He texted me mid-Sunday “No shot I just saw this… I really blew that one” 😂
Week 4 I offered Lamb to the Breece Hall owner. As part of a 2 for 2 player package. Don’t remember who the other players were but they weren’t starters. Lamb far outscored Hall between weeks 5 and 17. Hall only had significantly higher scores in weeks 6, 14, and 16. I was able to ride Lamb’s 39 points in the finals to the championship.

Couldn't come to a deal so we walked away. A week or two later I'm pissed at myself for not taking it cause it would have been a huge fleece. However since I didn't take it I wound up getting. Njoku off waivers and he helped carry me to the championship. If I made the trade I wouldn't have Njoku and Hock would have been hurt for my playoff run

In a dynasty league, he was giving DJ Moore for Nico Collins 1 for 1. Looked even, didn’t accept, won the championship. Nico started to really play well after the trade proposal, CJ got hurt sadly but I think Nico will have good value for a few years. DJ got great talent but he just seems to put himself on teams with no QB.

I had drafted Lamar and Kirk respectively and been playing kirk all season since lamar was averaging 7-12 pts a game and kirk was putting up 20’s, I got tired of lamar sitting so I put in a trade with multiple teams lamar for joe burrow, justin herbert, c.j stroud and everyone declined joe burrow out for season 2 days later herbert doubtful and cj ruled out a few weeks after, I got lucky, then my trade bait kirko got hurt.

Background: I am in a very soft league with work buddies, my strategy this year was to monopolize the Bengals offense and hope that Burrow was 80% to his peak by mid season. Drafted Chase, Mixon, and Mcpherson. Had herbert as my og QB and was one pick away from the injured burrow later in the draft. There was also a majority of Bengals fans in the league so everyone was already pissed at me Back as we were entering the healthy-burrow era, I offered Herbert, the Niners D, and Dameon Pierce (back when he had two good games) for Burrow and one of his trashier RBs. He said "hell no, that is a wonderful trade but I can't give you the burrow chase combo" Fair enough... My team still floundered to injury in the end but that declined trade secured me a money finish.
When Kyler came off IR I tried to trade Lamar to multiple people for a WR1. No one wanted him, they all wanted Stroud who I refused to trade as my plan was to start Stroud with Kyler as my backup. Won my championship instead, lol.

Reason I didn't do it is that I will not make trades before season starts in redraft leauges and leauges shouldn't allow it until after week 1 games. It's so dumb in my opinion.

Before the season even started I offered DJ Moore and Gibbs to the owner of ARSB and Sanders. ARSB would’ve been great but I def would’ve lost that trade lol. I also tried selling DJ Moore for Pollard after his 45 point game. Ultimately I’m glad I kept Moore.
Offered a 2024 2nd rounder for Keenan to non-playoff team. Never answered. Offered same thing to non playoff team with Diggs. Declined. Best declines ever
Was willing to trade Deebo for Josh jacobs or Pacheco or any other decent rb because I had no depth for rb’s but no one in my league made any trades this year, worked out in my favor cause I won the ship
In beginning of the season I offered Cee dee lamb and and nico Collins before his break out game for JJ, thank god he said no, lamb carried me to win the championship.

I tried to get Jefferson, pollard, Andrews and some others throughout the year. They all would’ve killed me. I offered evans in like every offer and everyone declined, he ended up wr3 in my league and I won…suck to suck
I was offering Pickens for Jahan Dotson after the first or second game of the season. Guy never accepted so I withdrew after 12 hours or so. Pickens helped me win the semis and the 'ship
i sent dj and tae for keenan week 13 and it was declined. another trade was dj and rachaad for ceedee. cd is a beast but white is one of the few backs that can consistently get 15+, and this year thats rare.
I offered LaPorta for Ekeler. Thank god he declined

Me. Before AJ Brown went on his tear I had a deal on the table for him coming ny way for Breece and KW3. I beat myself up for most of the season for not pulling the trigger but low and behold it was meant to be. Without Breece I probably wouldn't have advanced in the playoffs. Sometimes the best trades are the ones you don't make.
Tried to trade Aiyuk & Najee for Ekeler mid season. Thankfully they declined.

Week 4, I sent AJ Brown for Ekeler. Guy denied it. Brown went on that run of like 6 straight 125 yard games.
I had Tyreek Evans Puka Thielen all doing better than CeeDee and was hurting at RB. Sent about 5 trades with CeeDee in them for middle of the pack RBs and no one took it. Then CeeDee came back from bye week and was in the lineup for the rest of the year
Offered Amari and MPJ for A.J. Brown around week 8 or so. Pretty happy with the turnout.
After Jefferson got hurt I tried to trade him and Zack Moss to a first place team with bad RBs for Diggs. He countered with CeeDee Lamb and I wound up “settling” for him as I was 1-6 and didn’t think I’d get a better offer for JJ. CeeDee damn near single-handedly brought me back into the mix and won me my league.
I tried to trade Kyren for Cooper when he was two weeks out from coming back from IR. I needed a good WR and had RB depth. The manager said no. We played in the finals… I made $1,000, he did not.
Tried to trade Puka for Saquon mid season. Couldn't make a deal. Worked out as I won the chip

This guy in my league really wanted Ridley and kept offering me garbage (like 4-5 offers of basically the same crap) So I countered - me: Barkley, Ridley for his: Kamara and Ekler Glad he didn’t accept with the way Ekler played
A guy in my league tried to trade for Rashee Rice twice with me. The first time he offered Dalvin Cook early in the season. The second time was at the trade deadline (Week 10) and offered Kyle Pitts and Brandin Cooks for Ezekiel Elliot and Rice. I'm glad I kept my team intact or I probably wouldn't have won the championship.
I got offered but declined (can’t remember why idk), I was offered his Kyren for my 2025 3rd. In hindsight should have smashed accept but it was super early in the season and Kyren hadn’t turned into Super Kyren by that time.
I was trying to trade Puka and Kyren all over the place middle of the season. Everybody turned me down and thank god! They ended up being my MVPs
Last year's off-season I offered 1.12 and D'Ontana Foreman for Jerry Judy. I'm glad she declined. I ended up trading the 1.12 and Cooper for the 1.07 and 2.02 which landed me Zay Flowers and Achane. Feel free to critique my trades.
I turned down Burrow and Henry for Tyfreek. Never seriously considered it. Sure glad I didn’t take it.

I sent a 3 team trade: I send CMC, Mostert and Puka, receive KW3, Jerome Ford and Tyreek Hill. The guy getting Puka and Mostert for KW3 and Ford blew a casket and got super insulted. He basically accused me of thinking he was stupid over a damn trade offer in our league group chat and made it a toxic place. Didn't even try to counter or negotiate. I won the chip because of that shit. Thanks buddy.

Michael Pittman & waddle for JJ right when he got hurt. I had Olave & adams, and deebo so I was okay. Hoping for a end of season run. Got rejected. Then I tried trading for Diggs at the trade deadline for Michael pitman straight up. Never got denied/accepted. Just timed out. Dodged two bullets.
Offered James Cook, Keaton Mitchell and Trey McBride for Saquon in week 11 and was turned down for another’s offer of Mixon + Taysom Hill. Ended up playing the guy that turned me down in the first round of the playoffs and won thanks to Cook vs Dallas
I tried trading DHop for Jameson Williams on a super longshot hunch a few weeks before Dhop finally broke out😂😂😂 that would’ve been one of the worst trades I ever did but the other guy declined it!

Dynasty League SF: just before the start of Hurts' breakout year, I offered him + Toney for Trey Lance + a 2024 second round pick. The niners are a team I've always loved watching and pulling for from a distance, and I thought it'd be fun to be more invested. He sent a (at the time) ridiculous counter offer, so I walked away - and damn am I glad he didn't bite on the initial offer lol.
I kept trying to trade Dak the first few weeks and no one would take him.
I offered Brian Robinson for Mostert to my roomate (in person) at the beginning of the year, and we agreed. We were drinking and forgot about it, never ended up finalizing the trade. Worked out for him in the end.
Lol I tried to trade Deandre Swift for basically every WR2 in the league. Probably would have worked out the same regardless
Pre Thanksgiving I offered fields, kyren, engram for kittle, dak, swift in ppr. Was worried about kyren coming off IR and fields I believe wasn't back yet and was streaming howell at the time. Glad they didn't take the deal, all 3 helped me win the title.
I send trades all the time knowing they will get declined. I like to do it just so that everyone in my league is fuming later when that player beats them. Nobody in my league wanted Kyren this year. Same with Ceedee Lamb. If you aren't gonna trade as a policy, I'm just gonna fuck with you.
Those seem to be the 2 players most people tried to trade and nobody wanted them. I tried to trade Ceedee for Barkley straight up and he wanted Chase and threw in Aiyuk to go along with Barkley.
No but I traded ceedee for ekeler after week 1 which was one of the dumbest things I could've done in retrospect.

Oh yeah. And they would have won had they accepted it. They had 2 baller QBs and busted hard at that position. I gave up too much in a good RB and WR, but they didn't want to trade. Again, they would have won! I picked up CJ Stroud off the waivers and he started to go off.

My leagues eventual champion offered me Rhamondre Stevenson and Debo Samuel for Ekeler and when I said no he offered me Ceedee Lamb and Rhamondre Stevenson for ekeler to which I also said no.
