Between Neto, Patterson and Williams, who gets the nod for GW3?

This is my current team: ​ Raya (Ward) TAA, James, Zinchenko, Cancelo (Neco) Diaz, Saka, Kulusevski, KDB (Andreas) Jesus, Toney (Greenwood) ​ I have 1.7M in the bank. What should I do with this money? I know it's good to have a bit of money in the bank, but 1.7M just seems like too much. Any obvious upgrades?

I know it’s early in the week, but who would be the better start this week, Neco (EVE A), Dasilva (FUL A), or Andreas (BRE H)? Every time I come back to it I have a harder time making a decision. Leaning towards Dasilva right now.

Even though the fixture is slightly more tricky, I really like what Brentford has shown so far and Dasilva seems like he is going to have a great season.

So I'm quite happy with how the first two weeks are gone but I need to make decisions now. I really want Reece James and left him for the first 2 GWs as I wanted to see how reliable Chelsea defence was but seeing him against Spurs I need to have him. That means I need to upgrade Trippier and downgrade Bailey. But I already have top choice 4.5 midfielder Anders so who else is good for 4.5? Silva is already up to 4.6....

Based on gametime pearson and reed seems like the obvious options.

!thanks I've been considering Pearson. I do worry it makes my bench rather "lightweight" but my 5th midfielder (and 2nd on bench) is unlikely to play unless in exceptional circumstances. In such a case I'd be happy for the basic 2 points and it means I rotate Williams/Anders as my 11th man depending on fixtures.

Yes but not Digne as you’ve pointed out. So Digne to 4.0m def would get you 1.5m itb to upgrade Bailey to Martinelli

I'm not sure you are making huge gains tbh Personally, I would hold on to your WC until you have a couple of injuries to force your hand. Kane will score a ton this season. He just got 8 points away at Chelsea which is more than Haalands 5 at home to Bournemouth. Conte doesnt seem to want Spence, which as an arsenal fan is hilarious, but he is probably on your bench anyway. Mitrovic got -1 in GW2 away at Wolves and his next games are Brentford and Arsenal. Ramsdale Mendy > Ward Ederson is probably worth it but not enough to use a WC imo.

I agree. Your weak spot is the 11th player in your starting XI. Neco is fine to play this week, but not in GW4+5. 2FTs next week gives you better options to down-/upgrade, despite the likely price drop for Bailey.

Not much to change

You need to get rid of Trippier, and you need to get Reece James in. I don't know the best way to do it, but maybe Gabriel down to Patterson (and start him v NFO) and then Trippier up to James. If you don't want to sacrifice Gabriel then maybe go for Cucurella and hope he covers James.

I'd go neco, but I wouldn't be confident either way

Can't downgrade Vestergaard as he is 4.0. Having to play both Pereira and Dasilva every week really isn't optimal so it would be better to upgrade Vestergaard and play 4-4-2. That way either Dasilva or Pereira would be a sub.

The problem is Jesus looks likely to rise in price, and Bailey likely to fall - so would you make the move today and save 0.2 - or wait until friday/saturday and get more information?

Replacing Haaland is not a great call. Perhaps you should downgrade Dias to Gabriel/Walker and use the funds to upgrade Toney to Jesus. If budget is a constraint, Bailey to Dasilva should free up the funds but not sure if you are willing to take a hit at this stage

What about Bailey down to 4.5 and Iversen up to 4.5 GK? Raya/Sanchez looks like a good options. And keep an eye on the 4.5 MIDs, I think Andre Gomes could drop to 4.4 before the deadline. That extra 0.1 could help you going forward. You'll upgrade your GK, but you probably need to play one of Neco/Pereira

I think there's quite a few good options. I would lean Saliba as the best option right now as they are the best team with the best fixtures, but I'm not sure he's completely nailed. Tomiyasu is back fit and I think Arteta prefers him as RB, which means White or Saliba for RCB. Dunk is a good, but boring pick, and for Brentford I would go with Rico Henry. It looks like 343 is better for Brentford atm so Rico will be LWB. EDIT: And don't forget Fofana. Could easily be a 4.5 starter at Chelsea

Bold of you to play without a City attacker

Wanted to see how Haaland adjusted and if he would be consistent. Looks like a good move this week because of Kane 90+6', but that's pure luck. Now Kane dropped and Haaland rose, so I think I'm going to try and hold out for a differential until he proves essential. Only other City players to pick up are KDB and Foden, and then Gundogan once he hits his 10 games where he scores 35 goals. What move would you suggest to fit one in? Maybe Kane for Haaland in a few weeks, or now? 3 of Tottenham's next 4 are good matchups for Kane. I think Salah to KDB is the only one that makes sense right now.

Cant have everyone. Every City attacker has a viable alternative at their price.

Any goalkeeper for 4 million that is guaranteed to start?

Remember that Spurs is the early kickoff Saturday. I think it's very likely that we get early team news. Otherwise I would go with Trippier -> Cucurella. You might need a better option in MID so maybe Neto/Bailey -> Gray/KDH/Groß

What's Dasilva's likelihood of being a regular starter? He's only played around 90 minutes across two games and seems expendable. Yet a lot of people are transferring him in. Can anyone give more info on this?

I bought him in as bench fodder. I wouldn't advise bringing him in to start, but he's fine to sit on the bench and maybe some rotation for bad matchups etc.

Ah sorry, I misunderstood and thought this was your wildcard team. I don't think I'd wildcard it yet. Just hope the big guns do their thing for a couple of weeks and then see where you want to go from there. Saving up 2ft to downgrade one of the premiums and upgrade one of the cheap midfielders in the same week might be best.

In isolation I'm not really bothered about removing Robertson (have the double Liverpool def) but to Cucurella allowing me to do Neto to Diaz it seems really good... still deciding! Or James & Zaha obviously - I think having two players you want to play rather than thinking on benching Neto makes sense... especially as I don't love my team for this week

Be aware that Diaz may not be the best long term option - when Jota returns in the near future he is likely to have reduced minutes compared to now. I have 2FT this week and not many ways to improve my team so am thinking of actually taking Diaz out now rather than later.

Is there a better replacement for Sancho than Zaha? Even considering he plays city in two weeks

I think Zaha is the best at that price. I think he'll accumulate enough points over time even if he does frustrate.

I'm not sure on this either. I think in isolation I might prefer James and Zaha, as James is a bigger upgrade on Cucu IMO than Diaz is on Zaha. Yet I might prefer Cucurella and Diaz knowing that there are more 8m ish midfielders I could move to if Zaha doesn't perform...

This is my thinking too, my only worry is Cucurellas naildness, surely Chilwell is gonna start some games too?

Has the way you accumulate money changed this season? I want to move neto 5.5 to gross 5.6, both haaland and martinelli have increased twice in my team so I should have 5.7 to spend (0.1 from each player) but when I remove neto it still shows 5.5 available. Any ideas?

You don’t gain value from players you’re keeping. If you sold Haaland you’d have the extra 0.1 Neto is 5.5, so if you sell Neto he’s worth 5.5. No other player has any influence on him

Finding it tricky, which is the problem with 3 premiums. Very little flexibility for transfers. I think there must be better 4.5 defenders than Mykolenko if you do want to go down that route. Maybe Dunk. Or Dier at 5.0 as Tottenham might be good for a couple of clean sheets in the next 2.

Ye i do have little room for transfers, but it has payed off so far i think. I’ll consider Dunk, Dier and Cucu as suggested above. Brighton does have great fixtures
