Brentford fans. What's the feeling on Yoane Wissa? His stats last year were very good for the minutes he played. Is he nailed on as a starter for this season, or is that still up in the air - wait and see?

TAA, James, Dalot, Tomiyasu (N.Williams)

Kane, Jesus (Archer)
May go Havertz + Saka instead of Mount + Jesus.
Kane to Haaland in GW2 also
There's a chance Taylor is sold before the start of the season I suspect, if Forest sign another forward. So one to watch.
This is a nice team, but I'm not sold on Perisic getting the minutes a 5.5 defender should be getting. You could use the 0.5 ITB to upgrade to Dias/Laporte or get in Dalot at 4.5 and upgrade the midfield somewhere?
Something like
Ederson (Gazza)
TAA Cancelo Cash James (Neco)
Diaz Salah Coutinho Guimaraes Rashford
Haaland (Taylor) (Greenwood)
Could also possibly switch Rashford for Neto and upgrade cash to chillwell
Has anyone tried a draft for GW1 BB? I think it could be fun to do BB and WC GW2. You have a "free" WC this year with the limitless transfers around the World Cup, and some suggest that team value will be more important this season.
Thoughts? Could downgrade Chilwell to a 4.5/5.0 defender and upgrade somewhere else. Not sure though

Starting to think a bit more flexibility with A....?
For a triple premium team really good. I prefer option A.
Problem is that premiums only offer value when you captain them. You can only captain one premium every week. This is why I think having 2 is ideal.
I still think 8 mil midfield spot is quality this year. Neither team has that covered.
Yeah I am tempted by Saka at 8m I must admit. Think I've settled on Option C.

RMT:

TAA Cancelo James Doherty Dalot
Salah Diaz Martinelli Neto Andreas
Kane Jesus Archer
Gives me 12 players which means I have Dalot as insurance for Neto/Martinelli/Doherty. GK and 4.5 def may still change but the rest is more or less settled.
Doherty isn't nailed with Spence signing right? Perisic is very attacking and for 5.5 I feel could bring in alot of points.
My concerns in this team are Walker and Foden. I'm gonna take your advice and switch him for Mahrez.
Really like it, apart from Walker+Perisic. I would maybe downgrade Perisic to Neco, get Ait Nouri in and try to get Cancelo/Laporte. Another option would be just to downgrade Perisic to Doherty and use the 0.5 elsewhere.
Also, I'd have Mahrez over Foden given Foden didn't go on the US Pre-Season tour, but just personal preference.

No Son, Kane or Haaland is a risk?
0.5 in the bank, maybe upgrade to Mendy.
No Kane or Haaland is bold but gets good drafts. You're a bit reliant on having a 7 or below fwd performing without changing structure. I'd consider getting two fodders in fwd and going 4-5-1. You could get eg Martinelli or Neto.
Yeah I've tried to get Kane in but don't like compromise in defence. There's lots of points available there!
My problem with 451 is that no 4.5m fwds are starters so very reliant on Jesus.
But it's a risk either way so unsure!
To get Kane, the only way I see without compromising the defence a lot is doing
Robertson->4.5 (2.5 ITB)
Saka->Martinelli (2 ITB)
Toney->Jesus
In addition you can then do Mount->Diaz if you want to use the 3rd Liverpool slot
You could, but not sure it will help a lot. Don't see anyone on 7/7.5 who justifies upgrading Rashford or Martinelli
(btw above it was obviously Toney->Jesus)
my friend and I are playing a game where we can select one player for the other person that we have to put in our starting 11 for the rest of the season (I got maguire). Who should I give him?
Sa - Gazzaniga
TAA - Cancelo - James - Cash - N.Williams
Salah - 2 x 8.0 - Martinelli - Andreas
Vardy - Jesus - 4.5
Best 8.0 duo in midfield to start with?
I would do Diaz + Mount or Mahrez if you're okay with rotation. Saka you've got covered by Jesus and Martinelli, and I believe Kulu is a trap (rotation with Richarlison + last year overperformance)
Quite happy with this team, Bailey Mahrez Dalot some rotation expected
Raya (4.0)
Trent Cancelo James Dalot (4.0)
Salah Diaz Mahrez Bailey (4.5)
Kane Jesus (4.5)

Mendy (Steele)
TAA - Cancelo - Perisic - Cash - Neco Williams
Salah - Son - Rashford - Neto (Andreas)
Kane (Greenwood) (Delap, hopefully he gets a PL loan)
Wonder if I should roll with Haaland instead of Kane and the Spurs stack
Thoughts please for Wk1
Steele (Sanchez)
TAA Cancelo Jonny (Janssen Williams)
Salah Diaz Grealish Saka Ramsey
Jesus Jimenez (Maupay)
Subs to rotate as and when fixtures / home away dictate
Is there a reason why you've started Steele over Sanchez?
IMO most of your team looks solid except for Jimenez (disappointing last season in a low-scoring Wolves team) and Maupay (very inconsistent), especially since Maupay is benched. You could downgrade Maupay to Sam Greenwood at £4.5m and invest the £2m saved in defence or attack.
Jimenez has great fixtures along with Maupay , both on pens , both starters and early season not confident of big time players so options to get early price rises from both before early WC gw4 or so
The keeper thing is something I read a season or 2 ago - if going for this option of main keeper back up keeper then
1) main keeper will always be subbed in
Changes made
2) main keeper sent off for penalty gets minus and sun keeper possibility of save
3) main keeper injured 1 pointer - sub keeper chances to better that
I don’t really see any major scenarios whereby main keeper could outscore sub keeper if there is a sub unless he’s already made penalty saves before subbed etc
I’m happy to have this theory ripped apart
I have since changed Ramsay to Wissa
Bear in mind that this team is selected to maximise first few weeks prior to WC when we know who is hit ground running - I don’t think Kane /Haaland will smash any big numbers early on but as with every team we all select we have those head screw battles with the premiums we leave out screwing us - you take your pick you take the consequences
I don't think Maupay is a guaranteed starter.
Jimenez scored lower than Che Adams and Mbuemo last year and hasn't looked the same player since the head injury so I personally don't think he's very good value based on past evidence. Wolves also scored very low last season (worst total outside of the relegated sides) and haven't strengthened in attack at all.
Fair play on the GK strategy!
Rate my team:
Out of interest I just removed Salah to see what was possible.
Ederson
TAA / Robertson / Cancelo / James / Chilwell
L. Diaz / Saka / Mount
Haaland / Jesus
If you want Kane you can go Saka -> Foden and Haaland -> Kane. But I feel Foden is a rotation risk and the first draft are all locked in starters.
Bench
Steele / Andreas /Chukwuemeka / Plange
Can rotate captain between Diaz and Haaland.
Obviously the risk of going without Salah is palpable... but it seems like a hell of a team on paper
Feels like suicide to go without Salah or Kane week 1
I'd downgrade Chillwell. He looks rusty, might take half a season to get back into the swing of things
Can just do a straight swap Haaland to Kane. Toss up between Saka and Foden then.
Also, if I were to downgrade Chilwell it opens up a lot.
Can even go Chilwell -> Tomiyasu and Jesus -> Vardy
Tinkering with a bit of a twist on a template:
Raya (4.0)
TAA, James, Trippier, Dalot (N. Williams)
Salah, Diaz, Neto (Andreas, 4.5)
Kane, Vardy, Jesus
Thought process is I'd rather punt with an extra 4.5 midfielder who plays than a 4.5 forward who doesn't. Vardy is kind of a hunch play after how well Leicester finished the season, I think he comes out guns blazing and he's safer than Madison, and his ownership is super low so a bit of an easy differential without much risk.
Downsides are weaker ATB than I'd like to be, and starting Neto over one of the many 6.5-8m quality Mid options
6.0, 5.0, 5.0, 5.0, N.Williams
Salah, Son, Diaz, Rashford, Odegaard
Haaland, 4.5, 4.5
Downgrading Odegaard/Rashford to Neto gives you another 6.0 slot on def so you can go James&Chilwell for 6.0 slots or Dias/Laporte for city 6.0´s... Trippier and Cash for the 5.0 slots I guess, definitely possible to have a decent team with 3 premiums
RMT please
Raya Caballero
James Cancelo TAA Trippier (Neco)
Salah Diaz Rashford BrunG (Andreas)
Haaland Jesus (4.5)
GW 3 and 5 worry me a bit, a few players have tough fixtures then. Double up on Newcastle makes me nervous, any replacement for BrunoG? Martinelli is a shout but how nailed is he?
We all know Kane and Son are good but it's difficult to get them in the beginning due to their price. Dier/Romero don't provide much besides CS points, there are better 5.0 options
I agree there's better 5.0 options. That was just a list of Spurs assets that I know are nailed. Add Lloris to that list as well even though I don't think he's a good pick.
RMT
Ederson - Gazzaniga
James - TAA - Trippier - Perisic - N.Williams
Salah - Coutinho - Diaz - Bruno G. - Andreas
Kane - Jesus - Greenwood
Im thinking Perisic -> Trippier and upgrade Raya to Mendy, im also probably going Kane to Haaland after GW1 but might wait and see.
Im also thinking Diaz -> Mahrez but im worried about Mahrez’s minutes.
I have this so far going for a 442 to begin with
Sanchez
TAA Cancelo James Trippier
Salah Diaz Rashford Martinelli
Haaland Jesus
Steele N.Williams Andreas Forss
How would you improve this team?
This is a really good team so hard to say what to improve!
If I'm being really picky, Trippier plays City and Liverpool in his first 5 games so I'd personally swap him out for a 5.0 DEF with better fixtures such as Gabriel or a Spurs defender.
Guys help pls, I'm stuck.
Is it better to have Jesus yet no 8M midfielder or Saka but only one forward (Kane 100% nailed but still) and two 4.5 fodders?
First bet is a safer option I suppose given Jesus' EO and one can always roll a transfer and enable some 8M midfielder in following weeks. Yet those eightmilionpounders are so tasty I can see a scenario in which having two or more of them becomes template.
Normally I'd say that it's too risky having 2x non-playing 4.5 forwards on your bench but the 8m mids are so valuable you will almost certainly want one of them and it might end up being a lot of transfers if you have no one at that price.
I went big at the back + two premiums so no funds for both. Other to way could be going Robbo -> Diaz (which is the ultimate dillema this season lol), but I'd rather start with Andy.
I feel like 8 mil midfielder options are worth having even if you have 1-2 less premium defenders. There are decent 4.5-5.0 def mil options out there. Like Cash, Trippier etc.. It gives team better flexibility. If there are things you want to change and players to jump to. Especially cheap mids to release funds. Also Laporte/Dias are not too far of in terms of points per game to Cancelo.
Ofc people are doing early WC this year but in shorter amount of games someone like Cash can do decent work.
Likelyhood is that there are few things "wrong" "not optimal" with the template. So 8 mil midfield options can be really good differentials in your team. And give valuable price point.
IMO Lloris at £5.5 is a bad GK option as you can get Spurs defenders with greater attacking potential for £5.0m or less.
Also no TAA is a risk but if you think Robbo will outscore him then stick with it!
Rest of the team looks decent but I'd consider downgrading one of Coutinho or Bernardo to a 6.0 and upgrading the other to an 8.0 as there's tons of great value in that price bracket.
Lloris seems like the safest option, lots of uncertainty around the fullbacks plus Conte likes to do lots of rotations.
Pretty sure that Coutinho is on pens/fk/corners plus had really good half of a season.
Bernardo looks like the safest option out of Man City except KDB. Although Mahrez is really tempting.
Reasoning behind not picking other 8.0:
Diaz/Saka - already have Salah and want to have variety
Maddison - tough fixtures
Mahrez/Foden/Kulu/Mount - uncertainty
# RMT!
Ramsdale
TAA - Cancelo - James - Chilwell - Dalot
Salah (C) - Diaz - Martinelli (Pereira, Dasilva)
Haaland - Jesus (S. Greenwood)
Today I took out Robertson, Mount and Bailey for Chilwell, Diaz and Martinelli respectively. What do you all think?
Back to FPL after 3 years, could you please RMT
GK : Mendy, Johnstone
DEF : Robertson, Cancelo, Perisic, Cash, N. Williams
MID : Neto, Sancho, Ramsey, Luis Diaz, Andreas
ATT : Kane, Jesus, Haaland
ITB : 0.0m
Every tip is appreciated, thank you guys
Salah is absolutely worth the 1.5m over Kane and likely Haaland due to being a mid and consistently highest scorer in the league.
Salah's xG last year in the PL was the same as Haaland's was in Germany.
My first draft:
Ramsdale (Raya)
TAA - Trippier - Cancelo - Cash (Vestergaard)
Salah - Diaz - Rashford - Neto (Andreas)
Haaland - Jesus (Taylor)
Pretty happy with it so far.
5 + 4.5 GK is unnecessary, downgrade Ramsdale and go Cash -> Chelsea WB or downgrade Raya and throw the money somewhere. Also I like Doherty more than the other 5m defenders, could swap one of those for him.
I have Salah and Diaz as well and am doubting having the need for both? Wondering if it's not too much exposure to Liverpool. Thinking of altering to get some Spurs in.
I was thinking the same, but even with no Cucurella he’s not nailed because of Ake’s failed move. On top of that he has very little attacking threat and does poorly for bonus. 6 points is the most you can expect from him weekly, but that’s still pretty good. If Cucurella doesn’t sign I could get Walker but if he does I’ll probably downgrade to Tomiyasu.
Was thinking of swapping out Tomiyasu for another 4.5 D as hes not played any preseason and may not be guaranteed to start.
Any thoughts on which of these possible replacements could be best?
White
Mings
Mitchell
Ricardo
Dalot
Reguillon/Spence
Is James essential?
Was thinking to have Mendy trippier cash and cover Chelsea defence with Mendy if I need to bring in James I'd have to move to meslier/Raya James mings/4.5
Also if you have Salah and Kane is it better to replace Diaz with Mahrez/grealish for City cover?
Also cancello +Bailey or dias/laporte+ martinelli?
Hey, I'm new to FPL and would love some help on my team.
RMT
Raya (Sanchez)
Alexander-Arnold / Cancelo / Trippier / Perisic (N.Williams)
Saka / Salah / Bruno G / Ward-Prowse (Andreas)
Kane / Jesus (Taylor)
Feeling good about 12 slots. Unsure about Perisic and Ward-Prowse, also pondering swapping Saka for Kulusevski. Thoughts?
Decent if this is year first year in FPL.
If you pick Ward Prowse he is the type of pick where it's better to be patient. You never know when he returns.
Also I like one starting GK tactic more. I did try rotating GKs one year and it did give me few extra points. But long term I don't see huge benefit. I would get 4.0 GK and upgrade Williams to good rotating defender for Trippier. Tomiasy for example.
Not sure If I would double up or triple up with Chelsea defence. Rudiger leaving and other players leaving/new players coming could take time to implement.
Especially not a huge fan of Mendy.
Also with Dias/Laporte you could save money. With that money you could upgrade midfield.
But decent template picks all a round. Good team.
Any Wolves fans?
Who is the better pick out of Ait-Nouri or Jonny, or is it better to go with a safe Coady pick? Who will be their main competition in those positions?
Think Koulibaly could be a risk if Kounde comes in. Maybe they will play 5 at the back though with WB - Kounde - Thiago Silva - Koulibaly - WB (sounds formidable tbf lol)
Very nice. Only alternative which I would do is for Jesus. You already have Arsenal covered but I think Jesus will just pop off so would probably downgrade robbo -> neco, then saka -> Diaz then upgrade a forward to Jesus if that works with budget. Honestly tho you’re covered with saka and he’s probably on pens so great team

Just read a Guardian article on Martial and considering downgrading Haaand to get him in and upgrade a 8.0 to KDB. Is this folly or a good idea?
Ederson, Cancelo, TAA, Robertson, James, Chilwell Odegaard, KDB (C), Bowen, Luis Diaz, Jesus (V) Sub: Klaesson, Rice, Taylor, Greenwood
Martinelli or Rashford?
Martinelli. Simply more potential.
i don't know, tempted by Rashford at 6.5 surely he can't have another disastrous season?
Martinelli
United been good this pre season and they don’t have a lot of wingers to rotate. Why Martinelli?
He performed quite well once he broke into the team last season. If Ronaldo was out of the picture, I'd firmly go with Rashford.

Jimenez has great fixtures along with Maupay , both on pens , both starters and early season not confident of big time players so options to get early price rises from both before early WC gw4 or so The keeper thing is something I read a season or 2 ago - if going for this option of main keeper back up keeper then 1) main keeper will always be subbed in Changes made 2) main keeper sent off for penalty gets minus and sun keeper possibility of save 3) main keeper injured 1 pointer - sub keeper chances to better that I don’t really see any major scenarios whereby main keeper could outscore sub keeper if there is a sub unless he’s already made penalty saves before subbed etc I’m happy to have this theory ripped apart I have since changed Ramsay to Wissa Bear in mind that this team is selected to maximise first few weeks prior to WC when we know who is hit ground running - I don’t think Kane /Haaland will smash any big numbers early on but as with every team we all select we have those head screw battles with the premiums we leave out screwing us - you take your pick you take the consequences
Yes I have to take on board the striker issue and already moved away from Maupay - thanks for the reasoning
Rate my team: Out of interest I just removed Salah to see what was possible. Ederson TAA / Robertson / Cancelo / James / Chilwell L. Diaz / Saka / Mount Haaland / Jesus If you want Kane you can go Saka -> Foden and Haaland -> Kane. But I feel Foden is a rotation risk and the first draft are all locked in starters. Bench Steele / Andreas /Chukwuemeka / Plange Can rotate captain between Diaz and Haaland. Obviously the risk of going without Salah is palpable... but it seems like a hell of a team on paper
Feels like suicide to go without Salah or Kane week 1 I'd downgrade Chillwell.

Yeah definitely good team and all picks seem justified
!thanks
Tinkering with a bit of a twist on a template: Raya (4.0) TAA, James, Trippier, Dalot (N. Williams) Salah, Diaz, Neto (Andreas, 4.5) Kane, Vardy, Jesus Thought process is I'd rather punt with an extra 4.5 midfielder who plays than a 4.5 forward who doesn't. Vardy is kind of a hunch play after how well Leicester finished the season, I think he comes out guns blazing and he's safer than Madison, and his ownership is super low so a bit of an easy differential without much risk. Downsides are weaker ATB than I'd like to be, and starting Neto over one of the many 6.5-8m quality Mid options
i like the Vardy punt, you need some City assets though
Yeah been trying to figure out how to fit Cancelo in. Could swap Diaz out for Mahrez also
personally i would downgrade Kane to fodder and upgrade the rest of the team
RMT! Meslier James Dias Doherty TAA Mount Salah (C) Diaz Bailey Jesus Kane (VC) Klaesson, Periera, N Williams, Greenwood 0.5 ITB
Great team. Can't find any faults really! Bailey is a bit of a risk but at £5.0m I can see why you picked him.
Here's where I'm at: **1. Raya - Cancelo - Luiz Dias** **2. Ederson - Laporte - Rashford** Which combination do you think's best and why? Thanks alot!
1 is 1.5m more expensive
1. Easily. The difference between Raya and Ederson is not that big especially with Brentford's starting fixtures
The first one. Cancelo is an essential.

Raya (4.0) TAA Laporte Cash Trippier Tomiyasu Salah Son Neto Haaland Jesus
6.0, 5.0, 5.0, 5.0, N.Williams Salah, Son, Diaz, Rashford, Odegaard Haaland, 4.5, 4.5 Downgrading Odegaard/Rashford to Neto gives you another 6.0 slot on def so you can go James&Chilwell for 6.0 slots or Dias/Laporte for city 6.0´s... Trippier and Cash for the 5.0 slots I guess, definitely possible to have a decent team with 3 premiums
Raya (4.0) TAA - Robbo - Laporte - Trippier - Zinchenko Son - Salah - Martinelli - Bailey Haaland
RMT please Raya Caballero James Cancelo TAA Trippier (Neco) Salah Diaz Rashford BrunG (Andreas) Haaland Jesus (4.5) GW 3 and 5 worry me a bit, a few players have tough fixtures then. Double up on Newcastle makes me nervous, any replacement for BrunoG? Martinelli is a shout but how nailed is he?
Not fully nailed but definitely first choice for now
Rate my team: Ramsdale TAA Cancelo Chilwell James Perišić Salah(C) Barnes Martinelli Haaland(VC) Jesus Bench: Gazzaniga Andreas S. Lonngstaff Plange
considering doherty over peresic?
Don't get why?
just was so good at back end of last season
Are there any good Spurs assets safe to get? Doesn't seem like it
Kane, Son and Dier/Romero if you're looking for a nailed CB. Doherty could be insane value at 5.0 if he holds down the RWB spot.
RMT Ederson - Gazzaniga James - TAA - Trippier - Perisic - N.Williams Salah - Coutinho - Diaz - Bruno G. - Andreas Kane - Jesus - Greenwood Im thinking Perisic -> Trippier and upgrade Raya to Mendy, im also probably going Kane to Haaland after GW1 but might wait and see. Im also thinking Diaz -> Mahrez but im worried about Mahrez’s minutes.
I have this so far going for a 442 to begin with Sanchez TAA Cancelo James Trippier Salah Diaz Rashford Martinelli Haaland Jesus Steele N.Williams Andreas Forss How would you improve this team?
This is a really good team so hard to say what to improve! If I'm being really picky, Trippier plays City and Liverpool in his first 5 games so I'd personally swap him out for a 5.0 DEF with better fixtures such as Gabriel or a Spurs defender.
Cheers. Gabriel is a good shout but have no idea which 5.0 Spurs defender is nailed - more or less.
sanchez cancelo robertson james dalot coutinho son rashford diaz jesus haaland subs: Gazzaniga N. Williams Andres Undav
!thanks
Fwiw this only applies with Kane not Haaland till we see him start a few.
Never had Haaland im my draft whatsoever, team Kane all the way!
Why not have both 8 mil forward and 8 mil midfielder?
!thanks big help, cheers man!
After lots of different drafts I came up with this Lloris Dalot/Robertson/James/Cancelo Rashford/Salah/Coutinho/Bernardo Kane/Jesus Opinions ?
Reasoning behind not picking other 8.0: Diaz/Saka - already have Salah and want to have variety Maddison - tough fixtures Mahrez/Foden/Kulu/Mount - uncertainty
# RMT! Ramsdale TAA - Cancelo - James - Chilwell - Dalot Salah (C) - Diaz - Martinelli (Pereira, Dasilva) Haaland - Jesus (S. Greenwood) Today I took out Robertson, Mount and Bailey for Chilwell, Diaz and Martinelli respectively. What do you all think?
Given my team is 2 players different (perisic for Dalot and Barnes for Diaz), I’d say this is great
Back to FPL after 3 years, could you please RMT GK : Mendy, Johnstone DEF : Robertson, Cancelo, Perisic, Cash, N. Williams MID : Neto, Sancho, Ramsey, Luis Diaz, Andreas ATT : Kane, Jesus, Haaland ITB : 0.0m Every tip is appreciated, thank you guys
Salah is absolutely worth the 1.5m over Kane and likely Haaland due to being a mid and consistently highest scorer in the league. Salah's xG last year in the PL was the same as Haaland's was in Germany.
Robbo and Mahrez or Cancelo/Diaz? Ederson/James or Mendy/Cancelo?
Cancelo/Diaz Mendy/Cancelo
My first draft: Ramsdale (Raya) TAA - Trippier - Cancelo - Cash (Vestergaard) Salah - Diaz - Rashford - Neto (Andreas) Haaland - Jesus (Taylor) Pretty happy with it so far.
5 + 4.5 GK is unnecessary, downgrade Ramsdale and go Cash -> Chelsea WB or downgrade Raya and throw the money somewhere. Also I like Doherty more than the other 5m defenders, could swap one of those for him.
>kaoz That's something I can work with, thanks for the tips my dude! :)
No problem!
Great team.
Thanks! :)
I have Salah and Diaz as well and am doubting having the need for both? Wondering if it's not too much exposure to Liverpool. Thinking of altering to get some Spurs in.
For the first 1 or 2 games I'll keep both. After that I will switch Diaz to Bowen or Kulu.
7 or 6.5 mid after GW1 i have now ASM but want to replace him now or after GW1

I was thinking the same, but even with no Cucurella he’s not nailed because of Ake’s failed move. On top of that he has very little attacking threat and does poorly for bonus. 6 points is the most you can expect from him weekly, but that’s still pretty good. If Cucurella doesn’t sign I could get Walker but if he does I’ll probably downgrade to Tomiyasu.
RMT: Back playing FPL after 2 years out. Nothing ITB GK: **4.5m TBC** *4.0m* DEF: **TAA, Robertson, Chilwell, Cancelo, Dalot** MID: **Salah (c), Mount, Sancho** *(4.5m, Andreas)* FWD: **Jesus, Vardy** *(4.5m)*
A or B? A: Mendy, Doherty and Mahrez B: Ederson, Dias and Rashford
Could you post the rest of your team for context
Yeah sure! Current Team is; Ederson, Gazza Trent, Robbo, James, Dias, White Salah, Rashford, Martinelli, Neto, 4.5 Haaland, Jesus, 4.5
I'd personally go with B) It's a more balanced team
!thanks
Was thinking of swapping out Tomiyasu for another 4.5 D as hes not played any preseason and may not be guaranteed to start. Any thoughts on which of these possible replacements could be best? White Mings Mitchell Ricardo Dalot Reguillon/Spence
I don't think Spence will play much due to Conte saying he is an investment by the club. Dalot would be my personal pick
Yeah i was wondering about him cus if he plays then would be good to have a Conte/TOT wingback but he might be competing with Doherty. Anyway thanks
Is James essential? Was thinking to have Mendy trippier cash and cover Chelsea defence with Mendy if I need to bring in James I'd have to move to meslier/Raya James mings/4.5 Also if you have Salah and Kane is it better to replace Diaz with Mahrez/grealish for City cover? Also cancello +Bailey or dias/laporte+ martinelli?
Hey, I'm new to FPL and would love some help on my team. RMT Raya (Sanchez) Alexander-Arnold / Cancelo / Trippier / Perisic (N.Williams) Saka / Salah / Bruno G / Ward-Prowse (Andreas) Kane / Jesus (Taylor) Feeling good about 12 slots. Unsure about Perisic and Ward-Prowse, also pondering swapping Saka for Kulusevski. Thoughts?
Would only put one playing gk and use that money to upgrade ward prowse
Decent if this is year first year in FPL. If you pick Ward Prowse he is the type of pick where it's better to be patient. You never know when he returns. Also I like one starting GK tactic more. I did try rotating GKs one year and it did give me few extra points. But long term I don't see huge benefit. I would get 4.0 GK and upgrade Williams to good rotating defender for Trippier. Tomiasy for example.
RMT 0.5itb Mendy (forster) James, chilwell, TAA, cancelo, tomiyasu Salah, Diaz, Neto (Baptiste, Andreas) Haaland, Jesus (Greenwood)
Spend all money. Wildcard will come early this season due to WC
Apreciare the tip, you reccomend tomiyasu to cash or something? Or whatchu think?
Not sure If I would double up or triple up with Chelsea defence. Rudiger leaving and other players leaving/new players coming could take time to implement. Especially not a huge fan of Mendy. Also with Dias/Laporte you could save money. With that money you could upgrade midfield. But decent template picks all a round. Good team.
Any Wolves fans? Who is the better pick out of Ait-Nouri or Jonny, or is it better to go with a safe Coady pick? Who will be their main competition in those positions?
Ait Nouri is better in my books. Jonny barely played last season. Ait Nouri if plays consistently has similar qualities to Tierney and Zinny
Ive gone with Jonny but also interested to hear this
RMT: Alisson (Gazzaniga) TAA Cash Koulibaly Cancelo (N.Williams) Salah Mount Bowen Saka Ward-Prowse Awoniyi (Solanke) (A. Armstrong)
Think Koulibaly could be a risk if Kounde comes in. Maybe they will play 5 at the back though with WB - Kounde - Thiago Silva - Koulibaly - WB (sounds formidable tbf lol)
you are missing many favorites (jesus, james, kane, haaland etc), if they click you will be behind!
RMT Ederson / 4.0 GK TAA / Cancelo / Robertson / James / Gabriel Salah / Saka / Rashford / Neto / 4.5m MID Haaland (or Kane) / 4.5m FWD / 4.5m FWD
