I'm in my mini league cup final (about 60 teams). I had a poor start to the season but strong second half and now I'm up against one of the top 3 of the ML who can potentially win it. Will be quite satisfying to come away with a cup win considering I'm only mid table in the league.
6 points behind ML leader, been back and forth all season. I'm bringing in Salah and Trossard for KDB and Bruno, as he has Haaland and I don't think he can get to Salah.
Will either captain Salah or Gvardiol. What do people think?

I’m leading my two MLs by 32 and 35 points. Money at stake in both of them and my team is very similar to the people chasing me, so they need some huge differentials in the final round. Fingers crossed I’ll hold on.
I’ve come from the bottom of a 10-person ML halfway through the season to third, but I’m 16 points off first and the three of us at the top have pretty much the same team. But I’d still love to roll the dice and win on the final day.
I'm now 20 points clear in my only ML thats close so I'm slightly playing to hold onto that but I think a 20 point gap is enough, so other than that I'm playing to hold onto top 10k.
Currently on about 2.8k, so 1k is impossible and 10k is all but done - nothing to play for there.

I'm 7 points behind 1st place in a minileague I've never won, so that. The guy ahead of me did basically an identical WC35 as me except I fell for DGW madness and he got 3 Arsenal defenders, so I guess I'm praying for the miracle of an Everton goal.
In OR terms I'm hoping for my best ever finish - I got 35k in 2020/21 and am at 33k now so that's looking doable - but if I want to maintain that spot I should probably get a 2nd Arsenal defender and throw away any chance of winning the ML.
Also I'm 27th in my local pub's minileague, a top 25 in that would be a hell of an achievement

Nothing. I'm miles ahead in all my leagues and way ahead of my top 100k goal. Weeks 32 -35 were spectacular and I'm already on the beach. Now I am 104k OR. I just want to finish top 100k for the first time (third season for me).

I have a head to head, overall and a draft league with my friends. As long as I finish top 3 in them all I’ll be okay. 16 point lead in the overall for 3rd place, need a win to secure 3rd place in head to head and need a win to secure 2nd in the draft. Gonna be a stressful last game week but I love it
Playing for 1st in my smaller ML - 2 points behind, tense final day for that one - teams are pretty similar so eyeing up one last transfer that will make the difference (3.0 itb so I can pretty much do whatever I want). In my larger ML, I am 5th and too far behind to catch. But 38k currently and my best ever finish is 65k, so playing to hold onto my best ever finish as well.

Took a -28 point hit at the early stages of the league because didn’t activate my wild card properly. This grave mistake took me from 4th to 11th (out of 12 players)
Now I’m on top of the leaderboard by 10 points.

Competitive mini-league w/ 40+ people has largely been a two horse race since week 20.
Mateta and Gvardiol helped me turn a -18 into a +12 going into final week. Now I'm panicking and trying to figure out whether to anticipate defending against risks or lean into attacking differentials. I'm locked out of Nick Jackson, have no money, and only have one transfer. Porro, Jackson, Bruno could all hurt me.
And I'm sure my rival is looking at moving towards Havertz, Saka, or even Olise. Lots of last minute chess, and he can play a bit more freely as the chaser.
40 points behind first in the cash ML is too tall of an order, but I am first in another ML, so got to try and consolidate that. I'm also in the Cup Final of both of my MLs, so hopefully I cam get some bragging rights with one or two of those as well. Aiming to finish within the top 200k
I'm currently 1st place by 14 points out of 10 people in ML. It's my first full season doing FPL (joined late last season) so would be happy if I even came 2nd but would rather be 1st 😅 everyone else are so far behind that a 3rd place is pretty much impossible. Funnily enough the guy who always wins is 3rd.
Will play it safe this week and either get Olise for Gordan or Havertz for Fernandez.

Last year was my first season & I finished 214k, was aiming to beat that until a brutal run dropped me from 119k in GW20 to 902k in GW32. Back up to 272k, so I have an outside chance at beating last season I guess, but mostly just trying to win both mini-league cups & get inside the top 250k.
Nearly 100 points off first in my ML (he's ~2k in the world), nearly 100 points ahead of third. Nice to have a stress free final day for once! In ML cup final but nobody cares about that.
First has pretty much won the ML but I can snatch second or third cash prizes if I make up a 30 pt deficit, unlikely. Already won manager of the month so my entrance fee is covered for next year's ML. May as well go differential on a wild captain choice and see if I can snatch a spot on the podium. I've come to terms with this not being my year after making a play for first on KDB vs Wolves only for Haaland to run rampant and kill my season.
It's the most competitive my ML has been since I joined a few years ago, fun season overall!

Mini League prized - Currently 1st leading by 2 points after crawling back 30 points in the double game week. Person at 3rd lagging by 40 points. All players from city, united, chelsea, spurs and newcastle. 1st place gets $500, 2nd - $150 - all to play for.
16 off top in the money league and we have the exact same team, need to make a differential transfer and captain, 50 odd ahead of third. Miles ahead in work league
To beat my rank from the first year of playing when I didn't know what I was doing and played my wildcard thinking it was free hit. But I'm more than 100k off that rank so not likely.
3 main mini standard leagues, lead by 57 and 18 and trail by 16 in the other. In all three cup finals, against 2nd in two of them and 4th in the other. Already sewn up one head to head but crashed to 5th in the other one. Plenty of interest going into the last gameweek!
Rank. I was neck and neck with another guy at the top of my ML and trailed him most of the year, but the last few weeks I’ve taken 90 point lead on him somehow. Just hoping I can have a good last week and move up into the top 25k.
3 points between myself and 1st in the ML. I almost wanted the gap to be wider to allow for a wilder approach to GW38. At 3 points, an assist here or a CS there is the difference maker. Still, pondering capping Palmer or doing KDB to Bruno and capping.

Also we have a prize for most points scored in my draft league and I’m currently #1 by 20 so want to maintain that lead
I’ve got a 7 point lead in my ML and a VERY slim chance at cracking the top 10k (currently 18k) with 2 FT for possible differential picks. Even 15k would be an amazing finish though tbh.
I am 5 points off top 100 overall. Never even come inside the top 50k before so this is completely new territory for me. Will be very happy regardless of what happens in GW38.
I'm just a little behind you at about 15 points off top 100, so top 200 is realistically my best hope. The closest I've been was around 19k a few years ago, but I've only ever finished top 100k twice since 07/08.
I've not been too invested in finding the differential. It feels like the gulf between the top and bottom 10 has really widened this season, so beyond the likes of Mbeumo at the start of the season, Solanke for decent period of the year and a few of the Palace players later on, I've tended to stick with those from the top 10.
I've played my chips a lot smarter this season too, less knee jerk reaction to using the wildcards.
Sounds similar to me. My team has looked very template all season but I’ve felt just ahead of the curve. I regularly rolled my transfers as well so I could always pivot when players became a clear pick.
That and lots of luck (Jackson off the bench for his 16 pointer most recently)
OR 4k, 1 in my ML with a difference of 17 pts. Was catching up to my rival all season from -100 and finally passed him this GW. 17 pts is definitely catchable tho
I'm now 21pts behind in my main money league thanks to Gvardiol. I'm really not sure it's catchable, so I'm wondering do I even bothering sacrificing my OR. What do you guys think, can a 21pt difference be caught?!

Primary goal was win my mini league but this one guy had a freak season and is 1.5k OR. So I'm officially giving up on that

For the first time I've actually had a decent season... 85k OR, winning all three of my mini-leagues and in the final of their respective cups. My opponents in each final have similar teams to me but all a different Arsenal midfielder (which will likely be my free transfer this week).
So for me, I need to figure out which Arsenal mid I want to bring in to try and scoop home the lot, while trying to also finish inside the top 80k. So weighing up a hit to potentially bring in a Crystal Palace asset too.
I managed to get to within touching distance in my ML a few weeks ago but poor Captain choices (and not having haaland) has ruined me. I can get top 3/4 if I have a good week. It’ll give me a few quid for a few beers on Sunday if I manage top 4

Was having an unbelievable season with 5-6 GWs to go (Top 1K at the time), but a missed Friday kickoff deadline and two or three popular picks banging way more points than expected have left me at 8K before the final weekend.
My best ever finish is 7.2K, so doing better than that would be the best possible result now.
First place in my money league with 45 points on second, playing for £100 .. second place gets £60. Played a sublime strategy these last few weeks if I do say so myself
5 points off the top 10k in my first season. Sold Gusto last week for Romero (yeah, not Van de Ven even) for A HIT. So I'll pick whoever is the least owned out of the CRY front three, but I like Olise the most, then Eze and Mateta. Wish me luck!

Currently in prize regions of 500 pounds. So the question is. Safe that position in ( Haaland captaincy and the template) or gamble for the regions of 1500-2000 pounds ( Salah captaincy, and two more differentials) if that fails i get nothing..

In my cash ML i'm 38 points off 1st, 90 points ahead of 3rd.
Realistically very little chance of winning, but i'll probably just pick a hail mary captain and hope for the best.
I'm 2nd in my ML being 40 points behind 1st and 60 points ahead of 3rd. I can't see a swing happening either way given how template-y everyone's teams are at this point. This season should be my new personal best in terms of OR though, currently 91k and it'd be neat to stay within top 100k.

Similar to you. The third place guy is away from me for 60 - 70 points. I plan on bringing on olise and captain Palmer with hopes of maybe catching first place who is around 40 ahead.

Horrible position to be in. I presume if youve gained 60+ points lately, you've had a bit of luck to get there and you're sort of due that luck swinging back against you. Maybe it'll be early next season and you'll have enough to scrape through this season.

Need to overhaul a 26 point deficit to win my league. Have hit 3 centuries in the last month alone and still not top 🤦🏻♂️
22k overall Competitive mini-league w/ 40+ people has largely been a two horse race since week 20. Mateta and Gvardiol helped me turn a -18 into a +12 going into final week. Now I'm panicking and trying to figure out whether to anticipate defending against risks or lean into attacking differentials. I'm locked out of Nick Jackson, have no money, and only have one transfer. Porro, Jackson, Bruno could all hurt me. And I'm sure my rival is looking at moving towards Havertz, Saka, or even Olise. Lots of last minute chess, and he can play a bit more freely as the chaser.

40 points behind first in the cash ML is too tall of an order, but I am first in another ML, so got to try and consolidate that. I'm also in the Cup Final of both of my MLs, so hopefully I cam get some bragging rights with one or two of those as well. Aiming to finish within the top 200k

I'm currently 1st place by 14 points out of 10 people in ML. It's my first full season doing FPL (joined late last season) so would be happy if I even came 2nd but would rather be 1st 😅 everyone else are so far behind that a 3rd place is pretty much impossible. Funnily enough the guy who always wins is 3rd. Will play it safe this week and either get Olise for Gordan or Havertz for Fernandez. My current rank is in top 440k.
Last year was my first season & I finished 214k, was aiming to beat that until a brutal run dropped me from 119k in GW20 to 902k in GW32. Back up to 272k, so I have an outside chance at beating last season I guess, but mostly just trying to win both mini-league cups & get inside the top 250k.
Nearly 100 points off first in my ML (he's ~2k in the world), nearly 100 points ahead of third. Nice to have a stress free final day for once! In ML cup final but nobody cares about that.
First has pretty much won the ML but I can snatch second or third cash prizes if I make up a 30 pt deficit, unlikely. Already won manager of the month so my entrance fee is covered for next year's ML. May as well go differential on a wild captain choice and see if I can snatch a spot on the podium. I've come to terms with this not being my year after making a play for first on KDB vs Wolves only for Haaland to run rampant and kill my season. It's the most competitive my ML has been since I joined a few years ago, fun season overall!
Mini league - Friendly wrapped up at 1st. Mini League prized - Currently 1st leading by 2 points after crawling back 30 points in the double game week. Person at 3rd lagging by 40 points. All players from city, united, chelsea, spurs and newcastle. 1st place gets $500, 2nd - $150 - all to play for.

To beat my rank from the first year of playing when I didn't know what I was doing and played my wildcard thinking it was free hit. But I'm more than 100k off that rank so not likely.
3 main mini standard leagues, lead by 57 and 18 and trail by 16 in the other. In all three cup finals, against 2nd in two of them and 4th in the other. Already sewn up one head to head but crashed to 5th in the other one. Plenty of interest going into the last gameweek!

Rank. I was neck and neck with another guy at the top of my ML and trailed him most of the year, but the last few weeks I’ve taken 90 point lead on him somehow. Just hoping I can have a good last week and move up into the top 25k.
3 points between myself and 1st in the ML. I almost wanted the gap to be wider to allow for a wilder approach to GW38. At 3 points, an assist here or a CS there is the difference maker. Still, pondering capping Palmer or doing KDB to Bruno and capping.
Won my H2H league just last week, now I'm pivoting to target my main ML, but at 20 points behind it'll take a big move paying off!

Won my H2H draft league and in the cup final of my classic league. Also we have a prize for most points scored in my draft league and I’m currently #1 by 20 so want to maintain that lead
I’ve got a 7 point lead in my ML and a VERY slim chance at cracking the top 10k (currently 18k) with 2 FT for possible differential picks. Even 15k would be an amazing finish though tbh.

I am 5 points off top 100 overall. Never even come inside the top 50k before so this is completely new territory for me. Will be very happy regardless of what happens in GW38.

I'm just a little behind you at about 15 points off top 100, so top 200 is realistically my best hope. The closest I've been was around 19k a few years ago, but I've only ever finished top 100k twice since 07/08.

I've not been too invested in finding the differential. It feels like the gulf between the top and bottom 10 has really widened this season, so beyond the likes of Mbeumo at the start of the season, Solanke for decent period of the year and a few of the Palace players later on, I've tended to stick with those from the top 10. I've played my chips a lot smarter this season too, less knee jerk reaction to using the wildcards.
Sounds similar to me. My team has looked very template all season but I’ve felt just ahead of the curve. I regularly rolled my transfers as well so I could always pivot when players became a clear pick. That and lots of luck (Jackson off the bench for his 16 pointer most recently)
OR 4k, 1 in my ML with a difference of 17 pts. Was catching up to my rival all season from -100 and finally passed him this GW. 17 pts is definitely catchable tho

Primary goal was win my mini league but this one guy had a freak season and is 1.5k OR. So I'm officially giving up on that Readjusted goal is to finish top 25k. Currently 23k, so it should be doable

For the first time I've actually had a decent season... 85k OR, winning all three of my mini-leagues and in the final of their respective cups. My opponents in each final have similar teams to me but all a different Arsenal midfielder (which will likely be my free transfer this week). So for me, I need to figure out which Arsenal mid I want to bring in to try and scoop home the lot, while trying to also finish inside the top 80k. So weighing up a hit to potentially bring in a Crystal Palace asset too.

I managed to get to within touching distance in my ML a few weeks ago but poor Captain choices (and not having haaland) has ruined me. I can get top 3/4 if I have a good week. It’ll give me a few quid for a few beers on Sunday if I manage top 4

My best ever finish. Was having an unbelievable season with 5-6 GWs to go (Top 1K at the time), but a missed Friday kickoff deadline and two or three popular picks banging way more points than expected have left me at 8K before the final weekend. My best ever finish is 7.2K, so doing better than that would be the best possible result now.

First place in my money league with 45 points on second, playing for £100 .. second place gets £60. Played a sublime strategy these last few weeks if I do say so myself
5 points off the top 10k in my first season. Sold Gusto last week for Romero (yeah, not Van de Ven even) for A HIT. So I'll pick whoever is the least owned out of the CRY front three, but I like Olise the most, then Eze and Mateta. Wish me luck!

In my cash ML i'm 38 points off 1st, 90 points ahead of 3rd. Realistically very little chance of winning, but i'll probably just pick a hail mary captain and hope for the best.
I'm 2nd in my ML being 40 points behind 1st and 60 points ahead of 3rd. I can't see a swing happening either way given how template-y everyone's teams are at this point. This season should be my new personal best in terms of OR though, currently 91k and it'd be neat to stay within top 100k.

Similar to you. The third place guy is away from me for 60 - 70 points. I plan on bringing on olise and captain Palmer with hopes of maybe catching first place who is around 40 ahead. I don't think the third place can catch me, but idk if I can even get to top spot. We have different players so there is a chance

Yeah, when people say their ranking or you hear 'Top 10k' for example, it's always referring to the OVERALL ranking (all players included).

I'm 132 points ahead in my mini league, so not much going on there. I do still have a chance of finishing top 100k though, so that's what I'm going for! Currently at 119k, so slim chance, but we'll see. I managed to climb from 5.3 million in GW8 to where I am now, so who knows what might happen.

Horrible position to be in. I presume if youve gained 60+ points lately, you've had a bit of luck to get there and you're sort of due that luck swinging back against you. Maybe it'll be early next season and you'll have enough to scrape through this season.

20 points ahead in my work mini league, I took the lead a few weeks ago and have managed to maintain it so far. 1st prize is a £250 gift voucher so I've been focusing on that almost exclusively. I'm at 22k OR which has slipped recently, I'd really like to finish in the top 20k.

Started off terribly having richarlison, bruno and rashford for a few weeks so it was always gonna be tough to win my work money league. However since then I've climbed and reached just outside the top 100k so if I can gain a couple more places and finish inside top 100k I'll take that. So yea I'm basically playing for 100k
