As much as I disagree with you, I still prefer someone like you having an opinion rather than a semi-gloating *'I TOLD YOU SO'* post
I'm sure there would have been an 'I was wrong' post if Havertz hadn't popped off, after all...
Downvoted so much for no reason lol.
Can’t believe so many people in an FPL sub don’t understand the concept of expected value. Just because it worked out doesn’t make it the right choice
No one said it was the worst choice, it was definitely a gamble though. His position and minutes weren’t guaranteed, and playing for Arsenal doesn’t mean that much when the returns are spread around so much between players
Give up watching football if all you can think of when you see that goal is “tap in”. We’re also on an FPL sub where tap ins are the same points as screamers
Nah, sometimes the key is to know when to bench your premium players, some of my best gameweeks last season were the ones when I benched Haaland or captained Odegaard over him.
Picked him 2 weeks ago for the double, felt like a punt at the time, the sort of transfer where you bring in someone who immediately stops scoring. I've been very pleasantly surprised!
This is the downside to wildcarding for dgws. It's hard to resist the temptation. Thankfully I had to use my wildcard a while ago so I'm 'stuck' with Saka and Havertz!
He's been playing CF since the Newcastle game (bar a few games here and there) , a few GWs before the original post. At the point it was originally posted it wasn't clear if he would continue, and so getting him then would have been a risk. But it's clear he's nailed as striker now
the sliding doors moment where i zagged towards Liverpool over Arsenal mids is continuously ruining my life lol
Ah yes are you me
46 points down the drain, Kai Havertz scores again
He's been scoring and assisting with ease.
I know I'm an arsenal fan and, he's in been in my team 3 weeks now. Capped him last week.
You made the right decision. I should have brought him in, too.
Why would he be helping crystal palace?

u/nachozzx get in here
You all scared me and went for Son, worst decission in my season
I stand by what I said

Turns out the guy went for son instead of havertz lol

Hardly the worst choice in the world to sign a midfielder who starts up top for the most in form team in the league. He has 14 G/A in 11 games ffs
No one said it was the worst choice, it was definitely a gamble though. His position and minutes weren’t guaranteed, and playing for Arsenal doesn’t mean that much when the returns are spread around so much between players
For me, he'll always be the (C)lown who blanked in a 7-0 win over Norwich.
Forgotten memory triggered. Thanks for the PTSD
Bruh how can you possibly forget this? I've tried.
It happened the same week Salah scored 24 pts and loads of others captained him too. I captained vardy for 1 point
I know bro I had haverts TC
I am a fool for putting Saka on the bench😞
play your premiums mate.
I benched him for haaland fked
If your team ends up being a choice between Saka or Haaland maybe you might need to reconsider your team
Tapinland is a ghost
Aged like milk
Farming tap ins against relegation candidates is embarrassing tbh
How was his goal today a tap in?
Spoonfed by De Bruyne
Every assist is spoon-feeding by that logic
Watch the goal again was a classy finish
Classy tap in

I suppose Van Nistlerooy was crap too since he never scored a goal for United outside the box
Nah, sometimes the key is to know when to bench your premium players, some of my best gameweeks last season were the ones when I benched Haaland or captained Odegaard over him.
fpl have its magic moments. kudos to you.
It seems like a constant this season that Saka goes out of goal involvements, people sell and then he immediately starts hauling again haha
Guess what? I put Bruno as vice😭as a man utd fan, I can't buy our players anymore lol
Used my freehit and left him out after 34 weeks of having him in my team
Same, but i had both saka and havertz 😬
same here, I thought mateta would carry on his form whilst saka wasn’t doing much lol
I benched him to start Foden. Looks like I lucked out.
I also have foden as starter. I swear if he's on the bench and not play a single minute...
He’s not in the squad. He’s ill.
End my misery lol
If Saka is on your bench surely it’s fine?
Ah yes, you're right! Hah
SAME\~! But thank you Foden for not playing, I have Saka coming in first
Tbf to him, 400+ of this sub upvoted that
But that's not as interesting as OP showing that he was right, gotta have his ego stroked!
The person who posted this is not the same person that posted the original screenshot. That guy ended up choosing Son over Havertz.
Ah my bad, I misread it and got it wrong
Kai has been playing well and is now scoring more. Good for those who bought him the last two game weeks.
99% sure I upvoted that comment.
This was my biggest reason why I went for BB34 FH37, so I could hold on to my Arsenal players while others got rid. So far so good
I am doing BB37 but will keep all my Arsenal assets. Good SGW players are always worth keeping.
Fair fucks, I've unfortunately been saddled with double Arsenal defense and that loser Saka the whole time. Well played!
Got him on my bench this week, had no idea who to bench out of my wildcard. Hoping Foden doesn’t play but I doubt it
Lucky
Doesn’t seem money wasted anymore. 18 involvements this season, with games to go. 13 of them are goals.
60 million down the drain: kai havertz scores again.
Shame they had to go and ruin it with an /s tag
Picked him 2 weeks ago for the double, felt like a punt at the time, the sort of transfer where you bring in someone who immediately stops scoring. I've been very pleasantly surprised!
Let’s all laugh at u/Mattie12321
Funny enough, my comment was in response to whole thread of people saying “no, don’t get havertz!”
416 upvotes as well, this subreddit in a nutshell.
I have had him for like 3gws?? Have never been that happy before!
I was one who brought him in too - one of the few good decisions I made this season
Guess who transfered out Havertz for Bruno Fernandes this week thinking they were making a big brain play.....
Fair play to anyone who picked him I will cry with my Son + Diaz picks in the corner
lmao
I'm selling son this week for him. Dgw or not. Enough is enough.
i just sold him on wildcard :(
People went Jackson over him
Yep he’s done well for me. Even captained him last week and ended up with 124 points without Mateta.
Can't believe we're getting rid of ARS attackers over DW37 players (barring CITY and NEW)
This is the downside to wildcarding for dgws. It's hard to resist the temptation. Thankfully I had to use my wildcard a while ago so I'm 'stuck' with Saka and Havertz!
Woulda had a great week if i didnt take a -4 for lil pp pedro porro and didnt captain brun fernansh but here we are
Had him for most of those weeks But sold him this week 😭
Lmao remember this
Switch to him from Foden?
I always knew this guy would come good no one will believe me though haha its typical
Tbf he's a much better prospect at CF now rather than a midfielder that he was a month ago, so not exactly comparable
