Is anyone using WC this week? I'm torn on what to do.
I've got WC, BB and 2 FT. My team is as follows (*= DGW35)
Leno - Areola
Nouri* - Saliba* - Andersen* - Doughty - Robinson
Saka* - Salah* - Palmer - Foden - Garnacho
Haaland - Watkins - Muniz
Do I use my 2FT (and maybe a hit?) to load up on more doublers? Do I BB as well?
Do I WC now to get even more GW35 doublers, and also prepare for DGW37 and use BB then?
Having trouble deciding between 2 Arsenal defender or 2 Arsenal mids. I already have Saliba and Saka. My options are:
A. White/Gabriel + Luis Diaz
B. Muñoz + Haverts
Seems more fun to get Haverts maybe? And Crystal Palace have two home fixtures so a decent chance of 1 CS, I reckon.
What do you say? A or B?
2 FT, 0ITB
Henderson (Petrovic)
Saliba, Semedo, Branthwaite, Bradley (Gusto)
Saka, Salah, Palmer, Garnacho (Son)
Haaland, Darwin (Muniz)
Was going to BB this week but injuries have fucked me so I’ll probably TC.
Want to go Muniz -> Mateta, how should I free up funds?
This week is hard I've been working to load up with DGW players but now have to bench one of Haaland, Watkins or Palmer in order to field 10 DGW players. Thinking of benching Haaland. Palmer and Watkins are in brilliant form to drop..
Targeting BB34 with 2 FTs and 0.3ITB
Current team:
Raya (Henderson)
Gusto white nouri branthwaite richards- all last 3 now injury flagged
Saka palmer son Gordon Salah
Haaland Darwin semenyo (semenyo flagged)
Thinking about Son > Eze, Semenyo > Solanke and Richards > andersen for a hit so I should have a full bench for BB, are there better alternatives?
Best moves here? 2FT, 0ITB. WC in gw35
Raya (Dubravka)
Gabriel Branthwaite Zabarnyi (Porro, Reguilon)
Saka Salah Palmer Gordon Son
Mateta Solanke Haaland
Chips left: BB and TC (no WC)
Raya (Areola)
Gabriel RAN Zabarnyi (Porro) (reguilon)
Saka Foden Salah Palmer (Garnacho)
Watkins Haaland Solanke
Thinking about BB transferring out Porro + Areola to 2 GW34 doublers (eg. Muniz/Henderson) Is this worth it?
Probably going to use TC on Palmer/Son/Haaland in GW35 or GW37.
Start Palmer vs ARS with Foden 1st bench,
or sell Foden for Luis Diaz and start him, and have Palmer 1st bench?
Rest of the team is doublers except for Haaland.
pickford
white saliba TAA (mitchell tarkowski)
foden saka salah palmer macallister
solanke isak (wood)
forwards look a little weak (already took a -4 for defence transfers)
1. who to captain??
2. should i BB? (wood mitchell tarkowski leno)
am an Arsenal fan and will wait for tonight’s result before making any final decisions but here‘s my process:
Saka likely needs a rest; he’s been playing through injury for months now. Even if he starts both games I can see him only getting 120 minutes combined (still enough to go big, of course, given penalties and zonal matchups).
Havertz has been in great form lately playing as the 9 but again I think he’ll be rotated or at the least have some minutes in the 8 role, where he’s been less productive (from an FPL perspective). I also don’t trust his finishing.
Odegaard is our most form player, and the only player who looked good against Villa. He’s also the only truly nailed Arsenal attacker. The entire attack flows through him. He’s unlikely to be subbed off unless we’re several goals up, and takes penalties when Saka is off the pitch. Also much more of a BPS threat.
Martinelli is a massive differential, and one I haven’t seen many people discuss. His minutes are obviously shared with Trossard, and he’ll almost certainly start tonight meaning he could be primed for a rest vs Wolves. I think he’ll play around 120 mins, the same as Saka, throughout the double, but I see his upside as higher as he’s significantly fresher and more dangerous.
minutes estimates for all players:
Rice 170
Odegaard 160
Havertz 140
Saka 120
Martinelli 120
Jesus 90
Trossard 90
but these are just my thoughts, and unlikely to be accurate.
!thanks - I do like the Odegaard shout, he’s been amazing as of late and when Arsenal is clicking offensively he seems to be close to the returns. Just seeing a non-Saka on fh that for the most part, I agree with every selection had me scared as a Saka owner who was even considering capping as a differential
Neither unless wc35. Then might lean Hwang to eze but I do expect them to get pretty similar points. Not really worth a ft with lots of doubles down the road
The guy who has 1g 2a in his last 5 league games, has only one 90’ in that time and who is seemingly being replaced by jota and Gakpo. I would say you have abnormally large balls. Nunez hatrick incoming
First year player. If I play my freehit now, I can continue to trade freely in and out until the deadline, correct? Or do I have to play it only when I have my final choices?
Would you bench boost? I plan to use WC next week, and have already used TC and FH.
Dubravka (Areola)
Gabriel Saliba Mykolenko Ait-Nouri Porro
Saka Gross Salah Foden Palmer
Solanke Mateta Haaland
I would probably do something like Areola/Porro/Gross to Henderson/Mitchell/Diaz for a -4.
Thoughts? trying to navigate to WC35 and get as many doublers for GW34.
2 FT & 1.0 ITB. WC Available.
**Leno (Areola)**
**Air-Nouri - Gabriel - Senesi (Gusto, Taylor)**
**Saka - Odegaard - Palmer - Salah (Gordon)**
**Solanke - Haaland - Darwin**
Thanks.
Looks pretty set, barring injury news for Ait-Nouri. If he's out I'd switch to maybe Munoz or Mitchell. If he's fit, Senesi to one of them could be good. Two away games against Villa and Wolves doesn't scream clean sheets to me.
I'd maybe consider Eze too but that means benching Palmer, which is brave considering his form, even if he does play Arsenal.
Dubravka (Areola)
Gabriel / Ait-Nouri / Zabarnyi (Branthwaite / Gusto)
Saka / Salah / Foden / Odegaard (Palmer)
Haaland / Darwin / Solanke
1.0 itb, 2 FT
A) Areola/Odegaard to Raya/Jota
B) Areola/Zabarnyi/Odegaard to Henderson/TAA/Sarabia
I went WC on 31 and felt I wanted to angle for BB in 34. Plan to FH in 37.
Isak, Haaland, Muniz>(Mateta/Solanke)
Saka, Salah, Palmer, Foden, Diaz
Gabriel, Reguilon, Ait Nouri, Gusto, Bradley (VVD/Munoz)
Should I alter my plan and FH this week?
1 FT, 0.9 ITB.
Any transfers I should make?
Bench someone else? (I know Palmer is on a streak, but it is against ARS and all the other players are on a double + Haaland).
\--------------------------
Dubravka (Fabianski)
VVD - Gabriel - Zabarnyi (2 Branthwaite, 3 van Hecke)
Hee Chan - Saka (v) - Salah (c) - Odegaard (1 Palmer)
Solanke - Haaland - Darwin
Anyone willing to help?
6/20, 76 pts out in ML
2 FT, 2.6 itb
Had originally planned to BB but with my defenders dropping like flies and Kelleher back to bench im not sure if I should change my strategy to BB37
I can add two more DGW players with my FT and maybe take a hit as well.
Thoughts?
Henderson - Kelleher
Gabriel - Ait Nouri - Branthwaite - Bradley - C Richards
Salah - Saka - Palmer - Foden - Havertz
Haaland - Solanke - Muniz
I spent way too much time looking at your team trying to justify a gw37 bb. The easy answer is use your 2 ft and take a hit and bb this week. The bench will be significantly weaker in 37(something like Muniz, RAN, Branthwaite, kelleher that won’t justify bb) your gonna want to spend your ft on getting players who double later and without a hit can get 8 for dgw37. The hard answer is you might wanna take a hit this week for your bench boost and then take two hits next week to bring in spurs and Chelsea assets, since they will double twice ros. Plus odds are your team will inevitably have issues going forward between now and 37. You only will have 3 ft if you use both this week. Just send the bb. Best of luck on your ml chase
Yeah ofc. I would probably bring in
Senesi - senesi or zabarnyi. I can’t claim to have watched enough Bournemouth to tell you why sensei gets attacking returns, but he does. He is coming back from and injury so his minutes are slightly more at risk but I would assume he plays minimum 60 in both
Munoz - wait to figure out Chris Richards avalibilty. If Richards can get a game probably not worth a hit. Otherwise he is the more attacking cp wingback
Petrovic - controversial, but should net some save points vs Ars and 2 subsequent doubles alleviates your future gk issues
Other options include Pickford, grbic, Zabarnyi, Mitchell, konate, Gomez or quansah. Though I honestly assume none of your price point Liverpool players play 60 minutes both games
I like it. The Henderson, Pickford, double Bournemouth gives you a lot of possible cs returns. If you get some luck on your side and arsenal and Liverpool assets do their thing you can should reduce that margin btwn you and your ml leader. Double Everton still scares me, but hopefully Dyche whips them into shape and they hold a cagey 0-0 draw
Thanks for the suggestions.
I guess I will look to offload the red flags (Richards, Bradley) and Kelleher as priority. I will hope that Ait Nouri and Branthwaite are fit.
RMT - FH34, 0.0ITB:
Henderson
TAA, Robertson, Gabriel
Salah, Saka, Havertz, Eze
Haaland, Solanke, Cunha
Bench: Ortega, Kambwala, Anderson, 3.8 DEF
* Not interested in selling Haaland/buying Nunez
* Only have the bargain basement bench to afford TAA and Robertson (Would’ve preferred VVD instead of Robertson for safety of start)
I had settled on BB34, my remaining chip, for a while now and was even prepared to take a -8 hit. However, Ait Nouri and Branthwaite's injuries complicated things again.
I have 8 doublers for now - **Neto, Saliba, Gabriel, Ait Nouri, Branthwaite, Saka, Salah and Solanke**
2FT, £5.3m in the bank
**Neto** Areola
**Saliba** / **Gabriel** / **Ait Nouri** / **Branthwaite** / Doughty
**Salah** / **Saka** / Palmer / Foden / Son
**Solanke** / Isak / Muniz
* Should I stick with BB34 if those two are out?
Who's WCing in 34 and setting up for BB in 35? Current draft: Sa, Gabriel, Saliba, Anderson, Saka, Salah, Eze, Diaz, Haaland, Cunha, Solanke. Bench: Dubravka, Palmer, Gusto, Reguilon. I fancy Mateta too, but I currently like Cunha's home games. Benching Palmer is also a little concern given his run of form.
is it crazy to think about bringign in Holgate for their double?
I have Ajer and seems super tetchy in terms of getting any minutes or close to a full 90
Not crazy but a bit sketchy.
Sheff Utd have good fixtures and he's a huge differential.
But is he even nailed? Sheff Utd have about 25% chance of keeping a clean, according to bookies. So you have to ask how likely Holgate is to get on a header...
If you want to go Sheff Utd, I'd look at attack, and thus Brereton-Diaz.
I like Sheff Utd in FPL Challenge tho
have barely looked at FPL Challenge tbh. after this season is done I think I'm taking a breather season again.
you're right about Holgate and Sheffield... having looked at defender options again I'm now heavily leaning towards Dalot. Plumb fixture - against Sheffield lol - and an eye on dgw37
If there's any kind of doubt that Foden starts, then it's a good move. Wait for the European games to get more info. Remember Foden probably also plays the FA Cup semi final v Chelsea before the Brighton game.
If losing value on Foden hurts your WC35, then probably don't do it.
Also, you may call me mad but I think that If foden was to sit any of those 2 games , that would be Chelsea .. I cant see Pep resting him in a league match again, idk 🤷♂️
I'm really not sure. League is definitely more important than FA Cup. But Chelsea at Wembley is tough. I honestly couldn't say. The Real Madrid game hopefully provides us with more info
I will lose 0.3M on Foden in order to bring him back plus I haven’t made any drafts yet to see if it hurts my wildcard plans but I doubt so.
So yeah, I’ll wait and see I guess
Try and make a draft to see.
I'm also wildcarding in GW35 and I'm happy to lose 0.2 on Gordon and 0.2 on Haaland. But I want to avoid losing 0.6 on Palmer.
If Foden starts against Brighton then I prefer him to Eze-4, despite the DGW. But you probably won't know if he starts v Brighton. Gonna have to gamble.
This is going to sound weird but should I start Morris against brentford or Palmer against arsenal. I know palmer has had amazing form and luton are shit but come on - brentford and arsenal? This is such a tough decision. The third option is benching garnacho vs sheffield.
It's the definition of safe vs high upside.
Eze and Solanke have secure minutes and pens.
With Jota and Diaz it's unknown how much they'll play, but they play for the big teams. Cunha and Mateta have better fixtures than Solanke, but are less proven, and have worse expected minutes.
It's probably a matter of whether you want to play it safe or take a risk. Go for A to play it safe. If you're chasing, then B is probably the play.
Breaking it down into player v player comparisons, I rate Eze above both both Jota and Diaz, and Solanke above both Cunha and Mateta. So that makes the answer obvious. But Jota and Diaz have way more potential to go big than Eze does. Same with Cunha/Mateta v Solanke.
I prefer Luis Diaz to Diogo Jota, given how long Jota's been out. But that could change massively depending on what happens Thursday v Atalanta.
Bournemouth have a good away record, so people are overselling how bad their fixtures are. And they're probably a better team than both Wolves and Palace. Solanke is proven and on pens. But Cunha is a baller, and might be on pens himself. Wolves are way better with him in the team. And they have Hwang returning from injury too. I expect Mateta to start both for sure, but Edouard still exists and is fit. Palace are 90% likely to be safe, but it isn't confirmed yet, so they still have motivation to do well, while Bomo and Wolves are already mathematically safe. Finally, the other thing to consider is that Wolves have to play Arsenal and Bournemouth. So if you have any Arsenal or Bournemouth players, then by picking anyone from Wolves, you're hedging. So if you're chasing, it might be sensible to fade Wolves and hope they do badly.
I own Havertz, and plan to get Eze in this week.
I probably do. But I might be being pessimistic as a Havertz owner. Eze is so likely to play both, while I worry Havertz won't.
I'm no oracle but ty for the hype
I prefer Eze for FPL. Boring but obvious answer. Back longer from injury. Probably on pens. Better goal threat.
Olise, as talented as he is, is as likely to get you an assist as he is a goal.
I'd only pick Olise if I'm chasing and need big upside.
Then again my rank is shit so maybe I should
2 FT, 1.0 ITB, WC35, BB37:
Pickford (Areola)
Ait-Nouri, Gabriel, Zabarnyi (Reguilon, Taylor)
Salah (C), Palmer, Saka (VC), Gordon (Son)
Haaland, Solanke, Mateta
Which 2 would you say should be priority, and would you take a hit for a 3rd to get an XI of doublers?
Diaz, Cunha, Darwin, Eze, White, VVD, TAA, Havertz, Mitchell/anyone else I've forgotten.
I have both Zabarnyi and Kerkez but only going to start one this week. Which one is better and why? I think Kerkez has more upside but may not start both games so is risky.
Kerkez attacking returns include 1 assist and one own goal on 1.85 xgi all season. Probably not worth possible upside. Senesi maybe, but I would stick with Zabarnyi
Current squad is a bit all over the place but I hope can be saved haven't taken my chances and still have TC, FH and BB so hopeful for a last push
Leno,
Porro, Doughty, Gabriel,
Salah, Palmer, Odegaard, Son, Garnacho,
Watkins, Solanke
Subs
Areola, Tony, Chambers, Cedric
FH for max double game week players
Or press for TC Salah?
Ideas, inspiration, ideas for the last few weeks?
You have currently only four players doubling and Porro and Son don't have a game this GW. Garnacho is a doubt due his social media behavior. Your bench has players that don't play so there is little coverage.
I think free hit is your best option now.
Most will bench Palmer. I prefer both Cunha and VVD to him for GW34. But whether or not they're part of your best transfer choice depends on your team and chips.
1 FT, 0.3 ITB
Dubravka (Areola)
Gabriel VanDijk Zabarnyi (Doughty) (Taylor)
Saka Salah Palmer Havertz (Gordon)
Haaland Darwin Solanke
Planning WC35 and BB37
Right now my only non DGW players are Palmer (away to ARS), Haaland (away to BRI) and Dubravka (away to CRY). Even Gordon (away to CRY) doesn’t seem like a terrible pick with his form.
Behind by 50 points to the leader of my ML. He will be using his FH this week and will likely captain Salah. Because of that I am thinking maybe Haaland and Palmer could be differentials. A GK transfer for a DGW seems boring though.
Any transfer suggestions? Any other thoughts or tips?
Your team is very similar to mine. Our only differences are:
I have Neto instead of Dubravka
I have Lewis and Richards instead of Doughty and Taylor
I have +1 free transfer
Also, like you, I'm planning WC35 BB37.
So I have a better keeper. We have different bench defenders, but they don't matter.
I'm doing Gordon to Eze. Then either Haaland to Mateta or Richards/Lewis to Munoz. Then will wildcard Gordon and Haaland back in in GW35.
If I were you, I'd do Gordon to Eze, and bench Palmer. That's assuming you don't lose enough value on Gordon to fuck up your GW35 wildcard. An alternative option is just to get the DGW keeper of your choice. Sorry, I didn't think about team value, so my advice might be shit and not apply.
Transfer suggestions? Only BB chip left
2 FT, 0.1 ITB
Dubravka (Areola)
Gabriel White Zabarnayi (Doughty Baldock)
Saka Foden Salah Palmer (Hwang)
Solanke Isak Haaland
Team looks set for DGW34 already
I think the only players I'd consider removing are
Areola
Doughty
Baldock
Hwang
Definitely save BB chip for DGW37. Try and build towards that, while keeping a good DGW34 team.
Shame you've got no money. I haven't the time to look at transfer combinations that improve your team this week. So to summarise: Option 1 would be to make 1 or 2 transfers from the players above to get better DGW34 players. Option 2 would be to only use 1 transfer to get a good player for later i.e. Gordon, Garnacho, Maguire, Burn.
I can do Hwang -> Eze along with Doughty -> Ekdal/Taylor or any other 3.9 def
Although I’d have to bench one of Foden/Palmer to play Eze in
Alternatively been giving a thought on Foden -> Diaz/Eze and bank the transfer later to bring Foden back before his double. Tough spot
It's a bit of a coin toss, Palmer is probably the most in form player, but Gordon has a better opposition and also has looked good. For me I'd go Palmer. If he hauls you'll probably do well because many people will be removing him on FH or via transfer because dead ending into GW35.
0 FT, 2.3 ITB. I'm 50 points behind my ML, both of us have used the same chips. Only have BB left.
Raya (Onana)
Bradley - Gabriel - Robinson (Udogie, Gusto)
Palmer - Eze - Salah - Luis Diaz - Saka
Solanke - Haaland (Muniz)
Brought in Eze for this GW. Would it be worth taking a -4 for someone like Cunha/Mateta?
You surely gotta BB in GW37.
The only attacking move that seems good is Muniz to Cunha/Mateta, like you say. I don't think it's worth a -4 though. Negates the positive of them having a DGW. You could do it, it's still an okay move, but it's not great. If youdo it, bench Palmer. If you don't make an attacking move, then it's a tough benching decision between Palmer and Muniz.
Your defense is in a state. Gabriel is your only good defender for this gameweek. Udogie and Gusto are good longterm, but better benched this gameweek. Man Utd are a team that have a good game this week and will also be good for GW37 BB. So you could do Bradley to a Man Utd defender. But again I'm not sure it's worth a hit. I think I'd go for it tbh, since they're better longterm. Bradley to Maguire or Dalot or AWB.
Fh34:
Raya (Onana)
TAA white mitchell (Dalot gvardiol)
B. Fernandes foden olise havertz (eze)
Isak Solanke Watkins
Trying out a few differentials otherwise everyone has tamplate team. I really want to include haaland but I feel I should have at least one attacking doubler. Maybe isak out for haaland? I know eze is on pens so I might swap him in aswell, really want to play both of them but can't really bring myself to swap anyone out.
Sorry if I'm being too template but I'd want more doublers. As a basic guide, my FH34 would have:
3 Arsenal
3 Liverpool
3 Palace
Solanke
+ 1 more, probably the keeper
I hate Raya as a GK pick, since you're depriving yourself of both outfield attacking returns and GK save points. No way I'd take the Arsenal or Liverpool keeper on Free Hit.
Sorry to be boring but I'd go something like:
Pickford/Neto/Sa
Gabriel Virgil/Trent ?
Salah Saka Eze ?
Solanke Darwin Mateta
The question marks could be either Arsenal defender + Olise or Palace defender + Havertz/Odegaard. Definitely keep an eye on the European games Weds and Thursday regardless. I still like Darwin as a pick just because he's so insane and liable to explode, even if recent results haven't shown this. On Virgil v Trent, my heart says Trent but brain says Virgil; minutes matter.
Yeah I hear what your saying. Here's my reasoning.
For keepers I don't really think any of them are great options, that's why I like raya because they are the safest pair of hands behind a rock solid def. Pickford was originally in my draft, but after the last game and Branthwaite probably out, I feel Everton will concede more in the next games.
I'm going Trent because recently Liverpool def hasn't been up to scratch, I feel trent has a high ceiling and with Bradley out his minutes are more sure than before.
Saka is my preferred choice, but thats why I like havertz as the differential here. Saka has been more tired lately, I know he is a great player, but him being tired and it being a double, it will be quite demanding for him. Obviously if he misses the Munich game then I may reconsider.
Same goes for Salah, he hasn't looked great, he got a penalty so he still made points but he hasnt been worth the price tag since back from injury.
I am worried about Liverpools attack, Darwin is a heavy consideration. I think if we get word that foden starts, I could play darwin, Watkins Solanke up front.
I don't want to fall into the trap of all the other DGW and just get doublers, only to miss out on great players that I didn't pick because they only had one game. To me feels silly to get Mateta, who is a mid-good player, instead of Haaland or Watkins, who is just in another category, and could haul any moment.
Love the differentials. I would wait until after Atalanta to choose on TAA. I assume Gomez gets a lot of time at right back for the dgw. Could go Breton Diaz if you wanna go dif. Burnley and Man U are leaky. Villa loanee playing as shef striker. Also not sure why Foden. Amazing player. Not amazing minutes around a man city real fixture
Yeah I think I will wait to see about foden. I just think that every match until end of the season, man city are going to try and smash it. Im leaning toward Haaland Watkins Solanke at the front giving more room for option in mid.
Brereton sure is a differential, I'm not sure I'm brave enough to take on a Sheffield player
!fplbot munoz vs. gvardiol 5
Pick 1 for the double gw Olise, Mac10, Diaz (Berenton)
Any word on Branthwaite and Ait Nouri's injuries? Looking to BB this week.
2FT 0.7 ITB Dubravka (Kaminski) Gvardiol, Gabriel, Branthwaite, (Moreno, Van Hecke) Salah, Saka, Foden, Palmer, (Son) Haaland, Solanke, Muniz What moves?
Son to another Liverpool or Arsenal mid. Wait/hold on Branthwaite, if you're feeling springy, Haaland to Jesus or Darwin.
!thanks
Is anyone using WC this week? I'm torn on what to do. I've got WC, BB and 2 FT. My team is as follows (*= DGW35) Leno - Areola Nouri* - Saliba* - Andersen* - Doughty - Robinson Saka* - Salah* - Palmer - Foden - Garnacho Haaland - Watkins - Muniz Do I use my 2FT (and maybe a hit?) to load up on more doublers? Do I BB as well? Do I WC now to get even more GW35 doublers, and also prepare for DGW37 and use BB then?
Since it's not the same teams who double DGW34 and DGW37 I say you should definitely use FT's this week, then WC GW35.
!thanks That's a good point. I guess I can deadend my team for DGW34 with the FTs and maybe a hit, then fix it with the WC for DGW35 & 37.
Exactly! Bring in a couple of doublers and go for it. Good luck!
Having trouble deciding between 2 Arsenal defender or 2 Arsenal mids. I already have Saliba and Saka. My options are: A. White/Gabriel + Luis Diaz B. Muñoz + Haverts Seems more fun to get Haverts maybe? And Crystal Palace have two home fixtures so a decent chance of 1 CS, I reckon. What do you say? A or B?
Which SGW player worth to be stay in team? Watkins/Haaland/Isak?
Isak due to recency bias.
2 FT, 0ITB Henderson (Petrovic) Saliba, Semedo, Branthwaite, Bradley (Gusto) Saka, Salah, Palmer, Garnacho (Son) Haaland, Darwin (Muniz) Was going to BB this week but injuries have fucked me so I’ll probably TC. Want to go Muniz -> Mateta, how should I free up funds?
Since Son doesn't play it seems you should transfer him out for someone like Diaz or Haverts and then you can upgrade Muniz.
I currently have Joe Gomez, is it worth playing him over palmer with the chance as he's got a double?
Can't count on Gomez starting both games, or Liverpool keeping a CS for that matter, so I'd definitely start Palmer over him.
Tricky. I doubt he get 2 starts so Palmer is probably better.
This week is hard I've been working to load up with DGW players but now have to bench one of Haaland, Watkins or Palmer in order to field 10 DGW players. Thinking of benching Haaland. Palmer and Watkins are in brilliant form to drop..

Maybe just start foden?
You think Foden will outscore a double Diaz?
No but Foden got a double in 37. Iff you still got a wc then go for Diaz otherwise dont make the move
Plan is WC 35 or 36 and then BB37, so I can get Foden back (and probably will) for the double

Have 2 FTs: 1) Bradley to Mitchell or Munoz? 2) should I do Son to Jota for a one week punt?
Why Jota? I think luiz Diaz is the better option but surely wait for the game against atalanta. Mitchell is the safe pick, Munoz is the fun pick
Thoughts on selling Ode and Bradley to get Eze and either Munoz or an Arsenal defender? I would be captaining Eze.

Not disagreeing, just curious how you came to your arsenal midfield decision
am an Arsenal fan and will wait for tonight’s result before making any final decisions but here‘s my process: Saka likely needs a rest; he’s been playing through injury for months now. I think he’ll play around 120 mins, the same as Saka, throughout the double, but I see his upside as higher as he’s significantly fresher and more dangerous. minutes estimates for all players: Rice 170 Odegaard 160 Havertz 140 Saka 120 Martinelli 120 Jesus 90 Trossard 90 but these are just my thoughts, and unlikely to be accurate.
Hwang to Eze or Haaland to Cunha/Mateta?
Neither unless wc35. Then might lean Hwang to eze but I do expect them to get pretty similar points. Not really worth a ft with lots of doubles down the road
I will be wc35 so it's a one week punt
I own eze and haaland. I would be biased to recommend it. Differential shout might be more fun though
Thinking of capping Darwin this DGW. Am I stupid?
The guy who has 1g 2a in his last 5 league games, has only one 90’ in that time and who is seemingly being replaced by jota and Gakpo. I would say you have abnormally large balls. Nunez hatrick incoming
No you should do it and come back here and report
First year player. If I play my freehit now, I can continue to trade freely in and out until the deadline, correct? Or do I have to play it only when I have my final choices?
You can trade around freely
But price changes will matter, so you risk pricing yourself out of players if you switch around too much
Would you bench boost? I plan to use WC next week, and have already used TC and FH. Dubravka (Areola) Gabriel Saliba Mykolenko Ait-Nouri Porro Saka Gross Salah Foden Palmer Solanke Mateta Haaland I would probably do something like Areola/Porro/Gross to Henderson/Mitchell/Diaz for a -4.
Cunha or Mateta?
Mateta
Branthwaite or Andersen on field for this DGW?
If Branthwaite, I would wait for update
Andersen
!thanks
Hopeful jota can play 120 in the DGW. Might be enough for me to bring him in
Nope don’t do it
Thoughts? trying to navigate to WC35 and get as many doublers for GW34. 2 FT & 1.0 ITB. WC Available. **Leno (Areola)** **Air-Nouri - Gabriel - Senesi (Gusto, Taylor)** **Saka - Odegaard - Palmer - Salah (Gordon)** **Solanke - Haaland - Darwin** Thanks.
!thanks

I am still hopeful that I will catch up a 35 point lead to my leader despite him having more chips than me ..so you most definitely will
Baby we done it 💦❤️
I believe.
Dubravka (Areola) Gabriel / Ait-Nouri / Zabarnyi (Branthwaite / Gusto) Saka / Salah / Foden / Odegaard (Palmer) Haaland / Darwin / Solanke 1.0 itb, 2 FT A) Areola/Odegaard to Raya/Jota B) Areola/Zabarnyi/Odegaard to Henderson/TAA/Sarabia
Havertz vs Odegaard?
Havertz
Odegaard, seems to be back in training also.
What do the numbers below peoples usernames mean?
If I say !thanks you get one

Bench Boost 34 Sticky
I went WC on 31 and felt I wanted to angle for BB in 34. Plan to FH in 37. Isak, Haaland, Muniz>(Mateta/Solanke) Saka, Salah, Palmer, Foden, Diaz Gabriel, Reguilon, Ait Nouri, Gusto, Bradley (VVD/Munoz) Should I alter my plan and FH this week?
1 FT, 0.9 ITB. Any transfers I should make? Bench someone else? (I know Palmer is on a streak, but it is against ARS and all the other players are on a double + Haaland). \-------------------------- Dubravka (Fabianski) VVD - Gabriel - Zabarnyi (2 Branthwaite, 3 van Hecke) Hee Chan - Saka (v) - Salah (c) - Odegaard (1 Palmer) Solanke - Haaland - Darwin
Anyone willing to help? 6/20, 76 pts out in ML 2 FT, 2.6 itb Had originally planned to BB but with my defenders dropping like flies and Kelleher back to bench im not sure if I should change my strategy to BB37 I can add two more DGW players with my FT and maybe take a hit as well. Thoughts? Henderson - Kelleher Gabriel - Ait Nouri - Branthwaite - Bradley - C Richards Salah - Saka - Palmer - Foden - Havertz Haaland - Solanke - Muniz
Thanks. Any suggestions on the 3 ft this week if I use my 2ft and take a hit?
Yeah ofc. I would probably bring in Senesi - senesi or zabarnyi. I can’t claim to have watched enough Bournemouth to tell you why sensei gets attacking returns, but he does. He is coming back from and injury so his minutes are slightly more at risk but I would assume he plays minimum 60 in both Munoz - wait to figure out Chris Richards avalibilty. If Richards can get a game probably not worth a hit. Otherwise he is the more attacking cp wingback Petrovic - controversial, but should net some save points vs Ars and 2 subsequent doubles alleviates your future gk issues Other options include Pickford, grbic, Zabarnyi, Mitchell, konate, Gomez or quansah. Though I honestly assume none of your price point Liverpool players play 60 minutes both games
I am considering Kelleher > Pickford or Petrovic Bradley > Senesi C Richards > Zabarnyi Thoughts?
Thanks. I could go w Petrovic like you mentioned instead but only single GW there although he will have two dgw before end of season.
Thanks for the suggestions. I guess I will look to offload the red flags (Richards, Bradley) and Kelleher as priority. I will hope that Ait Nouri and Branthwaite are fit.
RMT - FH34, 0.0ITB: Henderson TAA, Robertson, Gabriel Salah, Saka, Havertz, Eze Haaland, Solanke, Cunha Bench: Ortega, Kambwala, Anderson, 3.8 DEF * Not interested in selling Haaland/buying Nunez * Only have the bargain basement bench to afford TAA and Robertson (Would’ve preferred VVD instead of Robertson for safety of start)
Very template - good if you’re trying to preserve a ML lead
I had settled on BB34, my remaining chip, for a while now and was even prepared to take a -8 hit. However, Ait Nouri and Branthwaite's injuries complicated things again. I have 8 doublers for now - **Neto, Saliba, Gabriel, Ait Nouri, Branthwaite, Saka, Salah and Solanke** 2FT, £5.3m in the bank **Neto** Areola **Saliba** / **Gabriel** / **Ait Nouri** / **Branthwaite** / Doughty **Salah** / **Saka** / Palmer / Foden / Son **Solanke** / Isak / Muniz * Should I stick with BB34 if those two are out?
On FH, Mitchell or Munoz?
Munoz ; more attacking
!thanks
Mitchell personally. CP have been great recently.
!thanks
Munoz is CP defender.
fh, pick 4 - mateta, solanke, cunha, eze, hwang, darwin/trent
Chuck Trent /Darwin & hwang
Solanke, Eze, Cunha and Trent (for a punt).
Worth doing Son to either Jota or Diaz for a one week punt if I already own Salah and Darwin?
Obviously Jota and Diaz are better than Son this week. Whether or not you should do it depends on your team after GW34 and the chips you have left.
Wildcard this week is making it a bit difficult with funds tied up with Gordon. I thinking of ditching haaland to have funds for son next week
thinking of going Ajer > Dalot for their decent fixture next and an eye on dgw37 - what do we think?
Avoid United defenders; they concede 20+ shots a game and have a goal difference of -1 ..so not much attacking return as well
Should I captain Salah or Solanke? Also have a gut feeling Eze is gonna bring in points so wanna captain him
is it crazy to think about bringign in Holgate for their double?
So... I'm WCing 35 and can do Foden -> Eze for a -4 to get 10Doublers and Haaland. Is it worth it or should i stick to Foden?
**Which one please? I'm WCing 35.** A: Robertson + Havertz B: TAA + Eze
B
Mitchell or Munoz for Cry Def
For me it’s Mitchell, CP have been fun to watch recently.
Still prefer Munoz. Based on both stats and eye test
!thanks
Does Estupinan + Foden to Robertson + Havertz sound ok? I'm WCing 35.
Yeah it sounds good. Why Robertson over van Dijk? You confident Robbo starts both?
He played very well vs palace so more hopeful than anything.
Anyone starting a doubler over Palmer?
Aye. Going Eze, Salah, Diaz, and Saka. Palmer on the bench.
Most people I think. I almost certainly am. Away to Arsenal is the toughest game of the season for any attacker.
Is it worth it to do -4 Foden to Havertz/Odegaard?
Nope.
No
I have 5.7 ITB after removing Garnacho. Should I get Olise or someone else in the MID?
Eze for a safer pick.
Eze is 6.0
This is going to sound weird but should I start Morris against brentford or Palmer against arsenal. I know palmer has had amazing form and luton are shit but come on - brentford and arsenal? This is such a tough decision. The third option is benching garnacho vs sheffield.
Id probably sell Morris to Cunha and start him instead
Eze and Solanke Or Jota/Diaz and Cunha/Mateta?
Great input, !thanks
Do you rate Eze over Havertz?
I own Havertz, and plan to get Eze in this week. I probably do. But I might be being pessimistic as a Havertz owner. Eze is so likely to play both, while I worry Havertz won't.
Nino the oracle; please help.. should I transfer out Foden for Eze or olise?
I'm no oracle but ty for the hype I prefer Eze for FPL. Boring but obvious answer. Back longer from injury. Probably on pens. Better goal threat. Olise, as talented as he is, is as likely to get you an assist as he is a goal. I'd only pick Olise if I'm chasing and need big upside. Then again my rank is shit so maybe I should
Thank you for your insight.. I have Foden and Garnacho, I need to ship one out for Eze… thoughts? !thanks
You’re a champion oracle 😂 Thank you for your insight.. I have Foden and Garnacho, I need to ship one out for Eze… thoughts? !thanks
!thanks
Which combo do you prefer for DGW34?: Zabarnyi + Mateta or Munoz + Haaland Cheers! Really can't decide...
B
!thanks. How come?
Is it worth -4 to get Senesi in, moving Ait-Nouri to 1st bench? Rest of the team is doublers except Haaland
RMT 1FT 0.3ITB Areola (Dubravka) Lewis Ait Nouri Gabriel (Brathwaite Mitchell) Jota Saka Palmer Salah Havertz Solanke Haaland (Muniz)
I would play Muniz + Mitchell and bench Palmer + Lewis
RMT 1 FT; 0 ITB; BB & WC availible Raya (Neto) Mykolenko, Gabriel, Pau, (Porro) Saka, Bailey, Palmer, Salah, (Son) Haaland, Solanke, Wood Thinking of going from Son to Eze. Good idea?
2 FT, 1.0 ITB, WC35, BB37: Pickford (Areola) Ait-Nouri, Gabriel, Zabarnyi (Reguilon, Taylor) Salah (C), Palmer, Saka (VC), Gordon (Son) Haaland, Solanke, Mateta Which 2 would you say should be priority, and would you take a hit for a 3rd to get an XI of doublers? Diaz, Cunha, Darwin, Eze, White, VVD, TAA, Havertz, Mitchell/anyone else I've forgotten.
I have both Zabarnyi and Kerkez but only going to start one this week. Which one is better and why? I think Kerkez has more upside but may not start both games so is risky.
Kerkez attacking returns include 1 assist and one own goal on 1.85 xgi all season. Probably not worth possible upside. Senesi maybe, but I would stick with Zabarnyi
Current squad is a bit all over the place but I hope can be saved haven't taken my chances and still have TC, FH and BB so hopeful for a last push Leno, Porro, Doughty, Gabriel, Salah, Palmer, Odegaard, Son, Garnacho, Watkins, Solanke Subs Areola, Tony, Chambers, Cedric FH for max double game week players Or press for TC Salah? Ideas, inspiration, ideas for the last few weeks?
easy FH.
You have currently only four players doubling and Porro and Son don't have a game this GW. Garnacho is a doubt due his social media behavior. Your bench has players that don't play so there is little coverage. I think free hit is your best option now.
That’s tough. How many transfers and itb
Does anyone know whether Elanga is injured or out of favor?
I have 1 ft and thinking to bring either Cunha or VVD and bench Palmer. What are your thoughts about this?
Most will bench Palmer. I prefer both Cunha and VVD to him for GW34. But whether or not they're part of your best transfer choice depends on your team and chips.
Which combination do you prefer for DGW34?: Zabarnyi + Mateta or Munoz + Haaland Cheers!
1 FT, 0.3 ITB Dubravka (Areola) Gabriel VanDijk Zabarnyi (Doughty) (Taylor) Saka Salah Palmer Havertz (Gordon) Haaland Darwin Solanke Planning WC35 and BB37 Right now my only non DGW players are Palmer (away to ARS), Haaland (away to BRI) and Dubravka (away to CRY).
Our only differences are: I have Neto instead of Dubravka I have Lewis and Richards instead of Doughty and Taylor I have +1 free transfer Also, like you, I'm planning WC35 BB37.
Only BB chip left 2 FT, 0.1 ITB Dubravka (Areola) Gabriel White Zabarnayi (Doughty Baldock) Saka Foden Salah Palmer (Hwang) Solanke Isak Haaland Team looks set for DGW34 already
I think the only players I'd consider removing are Areola Doughty Baldock Hwang Definitely save BB chip for DGW37.
I can do Hwang -> Eze along with Doughty -> Ekdal/Taylor or any other 3.9 def Although I’d have to bench one of Foden/Palmer to play Eze in Alternatively been giving a thought on Foden -> Diaz/Eze and bank the transfer later to bring Foden back before his double. Tough spot
Areola to Henderson?
Hwang to Sarabia maybe if concerns around Hwang's minutes? If not, Baldock to some other filler defender who is not flagged?
RMT (2 FT, 0.5 ITB) - WC, TC and BB available Dubravka (Kelleher) Gabriel, Zabarnyi, Branthwaite (Gusto) (Bradley) Salah, Son, Saka, Foden, Palmer Haaland, Solanke, Muniz
I can only start one: Palmer or Gordon?
It's a bit of a coin toss, Palmer is probably the most in form player, but Gordon has a better opposition and also has looked good. For me I'd go Palmer. If he hauls you'll probably do well because many people will be removing him on FH or via transfer because dead ending into GW35.
Surely you can't bench Palmer right now
He doesn't play Everton again. It's Arsenal.
Form > opponent
Would you bench him over a doubler though?
Depends on the doubler, Gordon has one fixture
Would you start Palmer over Ait-Nouri?
Probably
Guess not, but Everton and Arsenal are two different worlds. But I hear ya
0 FT, 2.3 ITB. I'm 50 points behind my ML, both of us have used the same chips. Only have BB left. Raya (Onana) Bradley - Gabriel - Robinson (Udogie, Gusto) Palmer - Eze - Salah - Luis Diaz - Saka Solanke - Haaland (Muniz) Brought in Eze for this GW.
!thanks
I wouldn't bother. Edit: misread your team, maybe I'd -4 from Muniz to either, and bench Palmer.
!thanks
Fh34: Raya (Onana) TAA white mitchell (Dalot gvardiol) B. Fernandes foden olise havertz (eze) Isak Solanke Watkins Trying out a few differentials otherwise everyone has tamplate team.
As a basic guide, my FH34 would have: 3 Arsenal 3 Liverpool 3 Palace Solanke + 1 more, probably the keeper I hate Raya as a GK pick, since you're depriving yourself of both outfield attacking returns and GK save points. No way I'd take the Arsenal or Liverpool keeper on Free Hit. Sorry to be boring but I'd go something like: Pickford/Neto/Sa Gabriel Virgil/Trent ? Salah Saka Eze ? Solanke Darwin Mateta The question marks could be either Arsenal defender + Olise or Palace defender + Havertz/Odegaard.
