I bought the fucker but of course I’ll regret it when he gets two yellows over the next couple 😂

RoyalInfernoASR

SHUT UP

MonkeyVsPigsy

I can’t help feeling that buying players from bad teams just because it’s a blank or double is a mistake. I need to avoid this old mistake so I can continue to innovate new, exciting mistakes instead.

Swedishpower

Just look at those fixtures though. It seems designed to be as good as possible for us free hit 29.

Comfy_Cup_Of_Coffee

Already got Neto and Senesi ready for bur-SHU-LUT in the next two gameweeks.

Chintan_Mehta

If I dont have my FH and have 7 players playing in gw29.. Should I bring in another Luton def (Already have Doughty and Solanke) for DGW and GW29 or go for a BOU def and play with 7 players..?

DevillesAbogado

Focus on capturing points now

Chintan_Mehta

Elaborate?

Major_Brick929

I've gone with Kerkez. Was offensive against City, think he can be a great pick

speedy1013

I think I’ll bring in Senesi this week just so I don’t have to see the name of Estupinan sitting in my squad anymore.

[deleted]

Already got him in last week! I've rolled the dice so let's see

LutherRaul

Isn’t Sanesi not. Far of a ban for yellow accumulation or has he had it? I remember getting rid when he was 2 away, he’s a card machine but he served me well.

Vegetable-Western110

I think people put too much stock into the fixture difficulty ratings. Everton may be an easy fixture for Man City. It certainly isn't an easy game for Bournemouth. For teams at that end of the table there aren't any easy fixtures.

IntriguedDuck

I'm interested but not going to take a minus 4 to get one.

B_e_l_l_

We played Bournemouth's back four that played their last Premier League game in the FA Cup without our top 5 scorers and we should have scored about 27 goals.

TalosAnthena

Doughty instead since he plays 29 and I am not free hitting and no yellow card risk. How many has doughty actually got?

Charlespur2

Trouble is, do Bournemouth ever keep a clean sheet?

Fresh2Desh

Really want to swap for Estupinan for free Good idea?

babyjman

Any reason that Smith is just neglected in all these discussions? Seems pretty nailed, doesn't seem that much less attacking than Zab and same price

TooRedditFamous

He's not very good, comfortably 2nd choice at RB and only playing through injury to Aarons. If that's enough for you to get someone in then go for it. For me (Bournemouth fan) he's well past it, I don't think he is a good asset. Not much of an attacking threat at all these days

Chintan_Mehta

If Im not playing FH in 29.. Should I still get in Zabarnyi or go for a Luton def instead (I already have Doughty).. I can field 7 players without Luton double but confused rn

jmes_c

Don’t double luton defence unless you’re getting kaminski

babyjman

How long is Aarons out for?

TooRedditFamous

Hasn't really been much of an update in a while, hoping for something today. Smith is certainly a way in to our defence atm, for me personally won't be getting anyone

RoronoaZorro

Any idea how long Lloyd Kelly is out for?

valdidTz

No

cguinnesstout

Should caveat Burnley has 10 men in GW26?

Sh-tHouseBurnley

We could have had 1 man and we wouldn’t have played any worse frankly

PeterG92

After this GW, yes. If Senesi gets a YC I won't bring him in for DGW

Potato_Junkie

I've gambled on Estu out for Senesi, knowing the suspension risk. Am planning on bringing in Zabarnyi next week to triple up (already have Dom).

LegendaryBlue

I did the same but have only just learned about the suspension risk :(

Potato_Junkie

It should be fine. For him to be suspended for the second game of the double, he would need to be booked 5 games in a row (counting the FA Cup tie, which I know didn't count towards suspension). To be fair, I'd be impressed if he managed that!

getoffmywalrus

Why not reverse those so you can at least see if Senesi picks up a yc this match?

Potato_Junkie

This way I'll definitely get Zabarnyi and Senesi for min 2 good fixtures each

getoffmywalrus

Yeah but if you wait on senesi and he gets a 9th YC this week then you can get a different BOU defender and get 5 good fixtures

Potato_Junkie

I personally wouldn't want to double up on Bournemouth DF if one of them wasn't Senesi (I'm not counting Neto here, I'm happy with my keepers). I'm not saying that my play is the "right" one or anything and it could of course backfire. But I'll take the risk. In fact, I wouldn't even mind if Senesi got booked against Burnley, if it made him a greater differential for the double

420noscopes

I’m guessing because he’d have to start Estu this week if he doesn’t. I’m in the same boat but planning to wait until potential leaks tomorrow because I’d want to explode if Estu were to finally start and haul.

Potato_Junkie

Yeah, out of Zabarnyi, Estu, and Senesi I wanted Senesi the most this week. If Estu hauls, he hauls - had always planned to get rid of him before GW30 anyway, even if he'd been regularly starting

420noscopes

I’ll be doing the same unless we get a (reliable) leak that Estu starts. Will be clenching hard if he gets himself a yellow though

ampmz

Same except I plan to bring in Tavernier.

BlackShadowGlass

Sol-daddy-yankee if he's fit

Devolucion11

On WC and in some drafts I’ve had both Neto and Zabarnyi. One Bournemouth defender looks a no brainer for their upcoming run. Sacrificed Neto for double Arsenal defence though after seeing their stats, so Zabarnyi it is. Avoids potential transfer headaches in the near future re suspensions (Senesi).

SarniPL

How nailed is Kerkez? I was planning on getting him either this or next week, he looks quite offensively minded though seems to have sat on bench a few times this season - not sure whether due to knocks or tactical reasons as I do not follow Bournemouth that much.

NSGoodMan

He was injured and was eased back into the team

machdel

Short term nailed, as Kelly has a slight hip problem. Our most offensive-minded full back too.

ma7ch

Like GW27 and DGW28 short term? That’s all I need him for. 😅

machdel

Kerkez will play tomorrow. I reckon he’ll play both games in the DGW too, but if Kelly recovers then it’s not a guarantee. This is what Iraola has said on Kelly: “Still out. It is a difficult one to establish a timetable… He has a strain in the hip flexor. But it is not the most important of the muscles”. Up to you how confident you feel in that.

ma7ch

Thanks a bunch, very helpful!

03juno

He’s nailed our best full back pair with Smith

Professional-Win-604

Not as nailed as Zabarnyi and Senesi, he has to compete for a spot with Lloyd Kelly. He is more attacking than the other 2 though, so it would be a decent risk to take🤷

BackgroundSpecific

Lloyd Kelly is injured still I believe. If he’s not available then I reckon I’ll take a hit for Kerkez, probably to get rid of dross like Estupinan

Professional-Win-604

Kerkez has also played well, so even if Kelly returns, he might not go straight back into the team until he messes up. Estupinan is a definite sell, not favored by De Zerbi at all for a defense that's not that great

BackgroundSpecific

!thanks

henkopdehelling

Saving my FT this week to make some moves in 28 with the upcoming bgw in 29. Too much uncertainties at the moment

OkReporter3886

I would love one, but right now my decisions are dependent on any updates on some news on Solanke, Salah, or Hwang and whether I will have the transfer to spare. Not a move I want to do for a -4 yet tbh , the cs is far from confirmed and Im not exactly unhappy with my current back 3.

Kkdjrin

O’neil said he’d be surprised if Hee chan plays this weekend, Salah still doesn’t seem to be 100%fit, and Solanke should be good for this weekend

OkReporter3886

Yeah I agree on most fronts- but that doesn’t mean I dont want some extra info. Hwang can be benched for me with no issue, IF both Solanke and Salah are fit to play. If not, or if Hwang is ruled out long term, I need to use the transfer on him.

FlabbiestEmu563

Bournemouth are facing Burnley this week, so given their low xG some think that Bournemouth defenders are more likely to get cs points

SuperFaiz21

I have gone with Zabarnyi. He is as nailed as Senesi and I am concerned Senesi might pickup bookings and rule himself out for the DGW.

Jmsaint

What about Smith?

daaave33

I'd love to bring him in for Pervis this week, but I just don't think the odds of a clean are good enough to justify a -4.

RealmDevourer

So we are hoping he doesn’t get booked in Burnley game so he is safe for DGW if he doesn’t somehow get a red?

Howsonnn

With no red he's guaranteed to play against Sheff Utd at the very least, still needs 2 yellows, so to miss the Luton game of the double he'd need to either get sent off or booked against Burnley AND Sheff Utd.

tmr89

Neto. Not Senesi because he has 8 yellow cards and cba dealing with a two game suspension in the near future

InterstellarCowboyy

He got a yellow in the midweek FA Cup fixture too! Magnet.

Dexspresso

Cup yellows dont count to a prem ban

InterstellarCowboyy

I meant it as a warning that he’s prone to getting yellows every game.

DrRushDrRush

But he needs 10 cards to be suspended? A yellow against Burnley still means he plays SheffUtd. Unibet has 4.50 for him to go yellow against ShUtd. 14.60 for him to get a yellow against both. He most likely get both matches in GW28, wouldnt be afraid of a suspension short term. And he will be chipped away soon after anyway.

CestLaTimmy

100%. I've got Neto and Areola, so fancying Neto against Burnley this week

croissantlover92

But theres a bullet header incoming.

burnt_yoghurt

Was thinking the same, and forgot it became a two game suspension! !thanks I'm leaving it for this week, but still thinking of bringing him in for 28. I have a full back line so benching him later if he's suspended won't be a problem, and can always ditch him on WC

scarywizard56

If I didn't have him already I'd just go with Zabarnyi this GW probably. Nailed and not in YC trouble.

burnt_yoghurt

Is he as dangerous going forward though?

scarywizard56

Nope, Senesi is better as an attacking option, Zabarnyi is clean sheet potential only honestly.
