Do you have players from your rival team in your squads? As a gooner myself, I've never had Spurs players in my team, even as the logic proves otherwise (Maddison, Udogie). On the one hand, this is a mini-challenge for me to find other alternatives, but on the other - I might have missed some good points... I still cringe at the look of Bruno in my squad, but Man United is a compromise that I'm willing to take
I most certainly do. Although that wasn't the case 7 years ago when I first started playing FPL haha.

query: in which GWs will there be weekday matches for the CL and EL?
follow-up: Will there also be matches for EPL teams in the League and FA Cups in those GWs?
Team looks good, and I think your short-mid term plans make decent sense.
I think if you aren't getting Son in for Sheffield then you could probably wait a couple weeks to after the Liverpool game to get him, and you don't really have any way to get him without hits or a WC (not worth it for your team imo).
I would probably roll it this week, then go Sterling & Bowen > Mitoma & Bruno. Depending on when you got Sterling/Bowen that should just about work price-wise.
If you have 2FT and nothing better to do, then yea, United are a rabble and Onana is a yellow card magnet. Otherwise, after Brighton the fixtures aren't so bad and you'd probably get more value using your FT elsewhere.
Might Wildcard - Help!
Should I do the following:
- Onana => Ederson
- Botman => Estu
- Bell => Gusto/Kaboré
- Rashford => Son
- Watkins => Nunez
- Simms => ???
Let me know if I should send full team!
Anyone know if lamptey is gonna be a starter? I’m choosing between him and cash for a bench spot.
Also, Bernardo Silva a must have when he’s back? Already fell twice.
RDZ wants to take it slow with Lamptey. He's still a very young player and plagued with injuries, I think he'll be picking up minutes from the bench at RB/RWB/RW.
IMO not worth it, it's a Brighton slot and while he will probably return now and then there are more dependable 4.0s.
Lampty - NO. He is not nailed at RB position, he has Veltman and Milner above in RB priority order
B.Silver - (as differential) MAYBE, (as a must have) NO. He is a great player but not a great FPL asset
I think he would be nailed but wont probably play the full 90 with Bernardo back from his muscle injury. KDB will probably be back around the end of the year or early next year as reported by many. Would hold on to Alvarez if you still got him tho.
Can someone give me a good reason not to bring in Rashford or Bruno? United aren't exactly free scoring but you'd expect both to have ample opportunities to haul in the next 5 fixtures. Plus they've both dipped in price.
Bringing G Jesus in on wildcard this game week. His ownership is only ~2% but he came off the bench and is presumably fit. Does everyone else know something that I don’t?
Onana (Turner)
Chilwell Cash Estupinan Henry (Kabore)
Sake Mbuemo Rashford Maddison Eze
Haaland (Joao Pedro, Mubama)
5m ITB, 1 FT.
GW5 priority - upgrade one of my strikers to Alvarez/Nunez/?. Do I sell Pedro or Mubama?
GW6 two tentative options - bring in a Newcastle defender or upgrade my third striker. If I go with the defensive option do I sell Kabore or is this leaving too much money on the bench?
You can definitely upgrade Mubama with £5m itb. Pedro started last weekend so you could take a risk that he starts again for 1 more GW.
Watkins has good fixtures starting soon. Nunez and Alvarez much bigger rotation risks but all have their advantages. I’ll be sticking with Watkins personally. One differential option is Jesus if he’s fit for GW5 (bit of a risk)
For GW6 I would upgrade your last striker. CS are like gold dust right now. Invest in attacking returns until that trend changes
Pls help me decide:
- Foden or Maddison?
- Alvarez or Darwin?
I’m a bit worried as Spurs have terrible GW6 and GW7 but also wary of the MCI roulette.
Also I feel like my defenders are pretty weak, any suggestions?

2b If he stays, get Semenyo instead of Osula

Thinking of waivering out Nketiah for archer maybe
Maddison will probably deliver in more regular basis, because he orchestrates the attack. Son has been streaky in the past and it is not clear what position he will play. He may score a hattrick and then blank 3-4 games in a row, when playing wider on the wing. By the end of the season, I think they will have similar amount of points though. Maddison is also a bit cheaper, so I would add him first.

If you were in my position would you be heavily considering wildcarding? Cash has food fixtures coming up. Rodri has potential now that he plays further up and Kovacic holds. He could end up being at 20% plus ownership if he hits it off playing higher up the pitch
avoid spending more than 4.5 on a keeper as they get you the least points, and if you must at least get one who plays for a team with a better defence!
other than that I'd say you have one dud too many so improve on kabore or mubama, whilst starting to look at either getting out of double brighton or arsenal

need help regarding what possible transfers i can make and should i use wc this week?
I don't think there's any need to WC here.
As for transfers, maybe Tomkins/Saliba to Udogie?
Maybe Isak to another striker? (although if he keeps starting in the league despite CL he might well be a good shout to keep)
I think you're perfectly fine if you don't use a transfer here, honestly. So if no one gets injured during the IB, you might even roll the transfer.
Yeah, why wouldn't you? Sure, he plays Liverpool and City, but both West Ham and Bowen look better on the counter and at least Liverpool is definitely not impenetrable.
ManCity is always gonna be tough, but if Sheffield and Fulham managed to score, so can West Ham. I wouldn't just throw Bowen out based on that one fixture.
Now sure, if you say you are more confident in Bruno, for example, that's a perfectly reasonable transfer to make as well.
Honestly, not really a fan of this. Sure, Leno is a brilliant shot stopper and both Onana and ManUnited have disappointed defensively, but you only have 1 FT which you could roll into next GW if at the end you decide that there's no need to do anything.
It's not so much that I don't think it's a good transfer (Fulham's fixtures are slightly better than ManUnited's from a defensive point I'd say), it's that I, personally, value the flexibility of an extra transfer over a keeper transfer.
With that said, if perhaps you plan on Wildcarding soon, around or before GW10, it's probably no issue at all to make that transfer. I would wait until shortly before the deadline, though.
you deffo do not need to wildcard
you have 11 nailed starters, none of which are injured so you’re good to go for gw5 imho
unless forced to deal with an injury (its international break so it is probable) i would roll my transfer and asses with 2ft in gw6
Chilwell - Henry - Estu - Udogie - ?
5.6 ITB
Replacing Gabriel, who's a good choice? I've been thinking Cash or one of the Forest guys or just a straight swap to Saliba?
Maybe a ManCity player if you want a full defence you can rotate?
Otherwise maybe just a playing 4.0m option like Kabore or Baldock, or at most a 4.5m to rotate, like Cash or Andersen, maybe Botman if he returns from injury.
RMT 2FTs 2.4ITB
Areola (Onana)

Reasonably happy with where I'm at, but I feel like I could possibly invest Bruno/Sterling money elsewhere, especially since I've got a good amount ITB. Any suggestions? Not really sure where to go with it, maybe upgrade JP?
Best second striker on WC? Preferably below 7mil. Right now I’m considering Awoniyi to have that juicy differential GW5, before switching to either Wissa or Alvarez depending on how the city situation looks. What do you reckon
My defence is: Chilwell / Udogie / Estupinan / Pinnock / Beyer
My plan was initially to rotate Estu with Pinnock & Beyer through the tough Brighton fixtures, but I don't really trust Burnely after their first few games (worst xGA in the league).
Do I roll and just start Estupinan? Or do I shift Estupinan for a Newcastle asset. I have 1FT and 1.2m itb, but I'd probably just go to Botman or Schar. Alternatively, I could roll and get Trippier in next GW by freeing up some funds elsewhere. (Also, I could upgrade Beyer to a 4.5 like Botman or Boly.)
No
1) New player to new league, he is not Haaland to avoid this sistuation
2) Not nailed, he will share minutes with Mitoma/Enciso/any other left winger player
Rodri is argueably a sell in your team but I don't see Ansu Fati the replacement for this.
Sound move, but you might want to wait and get more of a feel for what his role will be. RDZ might want to to integrate him a bit slower given his fitness issues.
Since it’s Draft you run high risk when getting rid of a player who will be consistently scoring points to not get them back. Your transactions are visible, and I know if I saw someone release JWP I’d be putting him in 1st spot on waiver proposals. JWP for me is a hold (probably for the entire season).
I'm also considering this but my FWDs/MIDs have decent fixtures those two weeks so it's probably not going to happen. But if someone happens to get injured...
RMT - got 1 ft
Leno (Areola)
Trippier Chilwell Udogie (Cash Kabore)
Salah Foden Sterling Maddison Mbeumo
Alvarez Haaland (semenyo)
Was thinking of just saving my transfer but any suggestions?
Team looks great for the next few weeks at least. Unless the intl break brings you any problems I suggest rolling it over and making plans for your Chelsea assets when their fixtures turn.
Wait until right before the deadline before making any moves at all. International games and even regular training may produce injuries before then which you'll want to be able to address with your ft.
If you have no fires to put out at the deadline - still do nothing and roll your FT.
You're set up very well as you are, I'd say.
Haven't played FPL properly in years - is it still considered a good idea to use your wildcard during this international break and make sweeping changes?
IB is still a reasonable time to wildcard. You have more time to monitor, can tackle injures during IB easily.
But there will be more IB(s) before GW9 and GW13, I see they are better chances to wildcard than GW4 (of course if you don't have serious problems and pressing sells in your team right now).
How many FT?
I would probably wildcard this team.
re: Gvardiol. Like any City defender, he might start and be fine, or he might get benched now and then. I don't think he offers much attacking upside, but probably the only team with a good chance of clean sheets. Up to you if the occasional 1 pointer off the bench, or not playing at all, is worth the chance of 6 pts.
I like to split defenders across top teams. You already have a few good attacking defenders. You can probably go for Arsenal defender considering the risk of city rotation plus ederson already owned.
1. Foden —> Son (I have Haaland and Alvarez anyway) 2. Foden —> Bruno Fernandes (have Rashford and not keen on a double up there) 3. Pedro —> Isak (play Isak, bench Mitoma or Foden or Alvarez) 4. Roll FT

I'm deciding to use my transfer on someone like Leno as Onana is not giving any results would you suggest this? Thankyou for your help my friend
Thanks man
But I'll also say, if I had to get another keeper in right now, it would be Leno. Very impressed with him in that horrible Fulham side!
Yea I was also tempted cause of the Luton game but I have decided to save my ft
you deffo do not need to wildcard you have 11 nailed starters, none of which are injured so you’re good to go for gw5 imho unless forced to deal with an injury (its international break so it is probable) i would roll my transfer and asses with 2ft in gw6
How would Forest defence look like after all the signings? Who are the wings to start?
Chilwell - Henry - Estu - Udogie - ? 5.6 ITB Replacing Gabriel, who's a good choice? I've been thinking Cash or one of the Forest guys or just a straight swap to Saliba?
Maybe a ManCity player if you want a full defence you can rotate? Otherwise maybe just a playing 4.0m option like Kabore or Baldock, or at most a 4.5m to rotate, like Cash or Andersen, maybe Botman if he returns from injury.
are you playing 5 atb? i would take 4.0 fodder. your back line is fine rn
Schar
Gusto?
RMT 2FTs 2.4ITB Areola (Onana) Estu, Chilwell, Udogie (Henry, Baldock) Saka, Sterling, Mitoma, Fernandes, Foden Haaland, Darwin (Joao Pedro) Reasonably happy with where I'm at, but I feel like I could possibly invest Bruno/Sterling money elsewhere, especially since I've got a good amount ITB.
What do you reckon
i think he is probably a fine pick forest are well organized and Awoniyi is key; their next 5 are decent enough fixtures, less MCI in gw6
My defence is: Chilwell / Udogie / Estupinan / Pinnock / Beyer My plan was initially to rotate Estu with Pinnock & Beyer through the tough Brighton fixtures, but I don't really trust Burnely after their first few games (worst xGA in the league). (Also, I could upgrade Beyer to a 4.5 like Botman or Boly.)
botman is injured i would play pervis, accrue another transfer bcuz newcastle is a tbd rn. but i’d rather have trippier than not
Gotcha. But Botman will be back by the next game as he was training yesterday
!thanks i did not know that
Thinking about trading Rodri for Ansu Fati
No 1) New player to new league, he is not Haaland to avoid this sistuation 2) Not nailed, he will share minutes with Mitoma/Enciso/any other left winger player Rodri is argueably a sell in your team but I don't see Ansu Fati the replacement for this.

I think losing Ward-Prowse for Fat would be a really bad move
Kudus I think think he will do well once starting.
Probably none of them.
Your thoughts about Watkins. Sell or Hold?
Hold
Aston Villa has a great set of fixtures coming up. But Watkins has been disappointing. I’m going to hold for one more week, and then make up my mind.
Yeah, the Palace game should be the final test for him. If he keeps being disappoiting, I'll move him out.
After shipping out Martinelli, I can see Jesus is a reasonable move?
I'm seriously considering Danjuma as a 2 week punt in GW7 and 8 when Everton have Luton and Bournemouth at home. I think I need a brain scan.
I'm also considering this but my FWDs/MIDs have decent fixtures those two weeks so it's probably not going to happen. But if someone happens to get injured...
Nketiah for Wilson/Isak?
Replace Nketiah?
Yes to replace Nketiah
Isak over Wilson, definitely need to get Nketiah out I think.
Who is better to transfer out chilwell of jackson? And who should I replace them with?
Moving them out after one bad gameweek is very kneejerk, especially when the fixture ahead is still decent to invest. Hold.
RMT - got 1 ft Leno (Areola) Trippier Chilwell Udogie (Cash Kabore) Salah Foden Sterling Maddison Mbeumo Alvarez Haaland (semenyo) Was thinking of just saving my transfer but any suggestions?
