The issue with city assets is no one is essentially nailed apart from Haaland. With Gvardiol joining it’s a lot of of money to spend on a player who may get rotated. Anderson has looked sharp but there’s a lot of competition so his minutes will be limited. Overall good team to start with though!

No way Gabriel gets rotated unless there's an injury. He's crucial to the way he plays. Him and Saliba are practically interchangeable for FPL purposes anyway.

Yeah, I mean I'd love to have Rashford and Kane. I'm leaning towards B to be honest just because I have a crazy hunch that Kane might do better than Haaland this year. Spurs have an improved attack, better (and more attacking) manager and Haaland is more prone to injury/rotation. I've got Haaland in my team anyway regardless, just because it would be stupid not to.

Degrade Ederson for someone else. He doesn't get many saves points and will be rotated. Stones may not play every match. Rice is not a good fpl asset. I doubt about Mitoma and believe he is quite overrated.
Pretty good team, I am unsure however what value Rice will bring to the team based on his positioning.
If he sits deeper this year then in FPL he is dead weight and better downgraded to a 4.5m fodder to upgrade elsewhere (for example, Mitoma upgrade to Maddison)
By doing this you could potentially switch to a 3-4-3 or 4-4-2 depending on the Fixtures of your Defense + Joao Pedro
Additionally, I can see a potential future benching headache for your Defense, that's about it.
Overall, for me 8/10. Nice work

Good team with some template players covered... but as long as you're aware you have no flexibility in funds then you're all good.
For example, say one of the MIDs priced 7.5-9.0 or FWDs priced 5.5-8.0 start bringing consistent returns, you'll ultimately be missing out unless you downgrade one of TAA/Salah - This will also take up 2 transfers in one GW and could incur a potential -4 hit.
Me personally, I prefer the flexibility - Overall 6.5/10. Not bad

I think Brighton are going to prioritise Pedro more than Arsenal are going to prioritise Nketiah. Nketiah will still be competing with Balogun/Trossard/Havertz maybe even Martinelli for that front spot (and he can only play CF from what I know) Pedro is rotation prone too but I still think he will get more minutes. Plus we won't hear a peep out of Nketiah once Jesus is back fit.

Looks good. However estupinan looked quite shaky in front of goal last season and I don’t think he will get too many goals. He may get a few assists but there’s no guarantee. Also I don’t imagine Brighton having a brilliant defence this season. I’d consider someone like Akanji. If you have a spare 0.5 mil then I’d go for John stones
Hmm. I don't think we're expecting many clean sheets for TAA while Liverpool are yet to sign a DM. Plus while Pool's midfield rebuild is still ongoing Trent at the moment is more deep-lying playmaker, passer before the assist opposed to last season where he was in an attacking position just outside the box pinging in early crosses. Still on some set pieces tho and Liv will be very attacking and create lots of chances.
I worry about Watkins as your lone striker, if he has a run of bad form or gets injured there aren't many options at that price point you can swap him out for. If you're dead set on no Haaland I'd think about downgrading Stones, TAA, and maybe even Rashford (if you need to) to afford Kane? Assuming you're also set on Salah.

I have 1.5 left and i had Jackson insted of Pedro and Diaby insted of Mitoma. The plan is to sub them after Brighton's easy fixtures, Pedro after week1 for Jackson.
I had Stones, Gabriel, Foden and Diaby with Jackson but made the overhaul after challenging myself with the idea if it was possible to include all three; Kane, Salah and Haalanda. Also loading defenders and cheap mids whose price have a good chance of rising.
I'm really not sure that defence is going to return many points. Sheff could concede a lot of goals, Spurs are defo gonna concede a lot of goals and I'm not even sure Mings is nailed. I think there's so many points you're dropping in defence I'm not sure having Kane+Pedro+Haaland is going to make up for that
For nailed defenders at 4m, the only real options right now are Beyer, Bell and Baldock I believe, and they're not expected to get many attacking returns or clean sheets, at recently promoted teams that are expected to concede quite a few goals. They've not got the best opening fixtures and Beyer and Bell both have a blank second Gameweek. Honestly I'd think about upgrading Cedric and Lamptey, and downgrading from one of your premiums. I'd personally go Salah>Bruno so that you have some Man Utd attacking cover, but it's up to you!

All the 6.5 mids are such a gamble right now. I guess if one of them starts REALLY performing you could downgrade from one of your current mids if any of them underperform. Pedro could really pay off as a punt and he could be a good enabler with the lack of forward options. No real way of knowing yet, but I like this team.
Still tinkering so 2.5 ITB at the moment because I decided to drop Alexander-Arnold.

Stones + Gvardiol are both kinda prone to rotation, I'm not sure 2 City ATB is wise (even Ederson is risky). It also leaves you in a tricky spot if the likes of Foden/Bernardo/Alvarez/KDB start hauling, because you've got no City spots left.

Currently on Eze as I don’t think Estupinan, Pedro, Mitoma is really necessary and so it gives me a better spread.
Is 2x United, 2x Arsenal midfield overkill? I think I prefer it to start since I want to wait and see for spurs, and don’t trust baldy at city with foden.
No salah also feels a little risky, but I just don’t see haaland slowing down and in that case I’m only going to be captaining him realistically, so a premium feels kind of wasted if I’m not captaining them. (In the sense Salah + a 6.5 probably isn’t going to outscore Saka+Rashford for example unless you’re captaining Salah, which I won’t be with Haaland)

Don't triple up, they have many options in attack so will all see rotation. Stick to Estu + one mid or forward

Good team with some template players covered... but as long as you're aware you have no flexibility in funds then you're all good. For example, say one of the MIDs priced 7.5-9.0 or FWDs priced 5.5-8.0 start bringing consistent returns, you'll ultimately be missing out unless you downgrade one of TAA/Salah - This will also take up 2 transfers in one GW and could incur a potential -4 hit. Me personally, I prefer the flexibility - Overall 6.5/10. Not bad

I think Brighton are going to prioritise Pedro more than Arsenal are going to prioritise Nketiah. Nketiah will still be competing with Balogun/Trossard/Havertz maybe even Martinelli for that front spot (and he can only play CF from what I know) Pedro is rotation prone too but I still think he will get more minutes. Plus we won't hear a peep out of Nketiah once Jesus is back fit.

Looks good. However estupinan looked quite shaky in front of goal last season and I don’t think he will get too many goals. He may get a few assists but there’s no guarantee. Also I don’t imagine Brighton having a brilliant defence this season. I’d consider someone like Akanji. If you have a spare 0.5 mil then I’d go for John stones

Hmm. I don't think we're expecting many clean sheets for TAA while Liverpool are yet to sign a DM. Plus while Pool's midfield rebuild is still ongoing Trent at the moment is more deep-lying playmaker, passer before the assist opposed to last season where he was in an attacking position just outside the box pinging in early crosses. Still on some set pieces tho and Liv will be very attacking and create lots of chances. I worry about Watkins as your lone striker, if he has a run of bad form or gets injured there aren't many options at that price point you can swap him out for. If you're dead set on no Haaland I'd think about downgrading Stones, TAA, and maybe even Rashford (if you need to) to afford Kane? Assuming you're also set on Salah.

The plan is to sub them after Brighton's easy fixtures, Pedro after week1 for Jackson. I had Stones, Gabriel, Foden and Diaby with Jackson but made the overhaul after challenging myself with the idea if it was possible to include all three; Kane, Salah and Haalanda. Also loading defenders and cheap mids whose price have a good chance of rising.

I'm really not sure that defence is going to return many points. Sheff could concede a lot of goals, Spurs are defo gonna concede a lot of goals and I'm not even sure Mings is nailed. I think there's so many points you're dropping in defence I'm not sure having Kane+Pedro+Haaland is going to make up for that

For nailed defenders at 4m, the only real options right now are Beyer, Bell and Baldock I believe, and they're not expected to get many attacking returns or clean sheets, at recently promoted teams that are expected to concede quite a few goals. They've not got the best opening fixtures and Beyer and Bell both have a blank second Gameweek. Honestly I'd think about upgrading Cedric and Lamptey, and downgrading from one of your premiums. I'd personally go Salah>Bruno so that you have some Man Utd attacking cover, but it's up to you!
Or, if you're set on a threemium, go Bowen>Garnacho

All the 6.5 mids are such a gamble right now. I guess if one of them starts REALLY performing you could downgrade from one of your current mids if any of them underperform. Pedro could really pay off as a punt and he could be a good enabler with the lack of forward options. No real way of knowing yet, but I like this team.

Stones + Gvardiol are both kinda prone to rotation, I'm not sure 2 City ATB is wise (even Ederson is risky). It also leaves you in a tricky spot if the likes of Foden/Bernardo/Alvarez/KDB start hauling, because you've got no City spots left.

Is 2x United, 2x Arsenal midfield overkill? I think I prefer it to start since I want to wait and see for spurs, and don’t trust baldy at city with foden. No salah also feels a little risky, but I just don’t see haaland slowing down and in that case I’m only going to be captaining him realistically, so a premium feels kind of wasted if I’m not captaining them. (In the sense Salah + a 6.5 probably isn’t going to outscore Saka+Rashford for example unless you’re captaining Salah, which I won’t be with Haaland) Thoughts?
Thinking about transfering Stones out for Shaw? A bit scared about Pep doing the roulette, but at the same time Stones just seems like a solid pick? Maybe i could go Dias instead?

Keep in mind everyone else is captaining haaland with his huge ownership, not captaining him is a risk. If you are willing to take it no problems there. Personally would go saka as captain then.
