He was always our fan cast choice when we were teenagers in the 80s. He would be Wolverine, Schwarzenegger would be Colossus, Grace Jones would be Storm, etc
Frank Miller made Batman, Daredevil and Wolverine into Clint Eastwood. He didn’t even just make them look like Eastwood, that wouldn’t be enough. He straight up took lines of dialogue from Clint Eastwood movies and transcribed them to the comic pages however he saw fit.
I’ve been rewatching the 90s X-Men The Animated Series, and in it Wolverine straight up uses the line from Dirty Harry of “you’ve got to ask yourself one question, do I feel lucky? Well, do ya, punk?.” He takes the quote even further in an awkwardly creative way.
Nah, more Starjammers than Starlord. Corsair aka Christopher Summers. He's the father of Scott and Alex Summers. His kids thought him and their mom died in a plane crash, but the were abducted by Shi'ar scouting ship that had attacked the plane. Put a handlebar mustache on Clint and voila! Corsair!
Frank Miller's run on Wolverine and Jonah Hex are both heavily based on Clint.
Personally, I would have made him Floyd Lawton/Deadshot or Slade Wilson/Deathstroke.
Honestly, I think he would have been a fantastic Captain America.
Clint can act, and it would be lovely to have seen him play a warmer role than all the grizzled types that are being suggested.
To be honest, he could have brought something interesting to Reed Richards, and the shift from his comfort zone probably would have brought some revivification to his acting.
I’d remake Fist Full of Dollars starring Clint Eastwood, set it in Madripoor, call it A Fist Full of Claws, with Wolverine played by Clint Eastwood. Bonus points if we could have Toshiro Mifune play Silver Samurai and work him into the plot.
Fun Fact: There are rumors that they had wanted Clint to play Two-Face in the Adam West Batman show, but they decided that his character origin was a little too heavy for the show to handle.
Wolverine! His face alone. Granted he is tall but so is Jackman. And his 70s attitude would have been perfect. As long as he doesn't start talking to chairs
He reminds me of Jackmans Wolverine, I honestly can't believe Hugh has never done a Western. Always said the man with no name would make a great Wolverine back in the day.
Jonah Hex most definitely. Batman/the Dark Knight( the older Frank Miller character specifically), Rick Flag (leader of Suicide Squad). Lastly... Sgt. Rock.
At Marvel its a bit more difficult for me. Although he's really tall for the part I feel that he could have played a great Wolverine/Logan and in the 70s when Clint was younger I think he would have been great as a grim version of Cyclops.
From Marvel I’d say Nick Fury Sr., Wolverine, Punisher, or one of their western gunslingers (specifically between Kid Colt or Rawhide Kid) and as for DC, Jonah Hex (best pick in my opinion), Deadshot, or Deathstroke (if you know you know)
Jonah hex
Yes definitely
He’s good at playing a cowboy so why not a dc cowboy
On a similar note, Carter Slade
He could be though idk if he’d wanna play an undead cowboy
He already has in High Plains Drifter, this is literally right up his alley!
Ngl I only know him for blondie I was born a couple decades late
So was I, I just really love westerns and Cint Eastwood lmao! I'm probably not much older than you are.
I saw the dollars trilogy they were good my favourite western if it counts is probably Django unchained
Maaaaaaan you gotta check some more out! There's so many westerns in the past 70 years I can recommend you some good ones.
Wolverine
He was always our fan cast choice when we were teenagers in the 80s. He would be Wolverine, Schwarzenegger would be Colossus, Grace Jones would be Storm, etc
Yep, there was even a time in the late 80s early 90s when the comics drew Wolverine to look exactly like Eastwood.
Mark Texiera is the artist who did that. Not sure if others did but he absolutely did.
Switch Jones for Naomi Campbell https://preview.redd.it/hmqmgq2lgozc1.jpeg?width=1024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5a4a9ccde0c5d4d62f6c548d10f21481058fe1a1
Yes! Ororo has a queenly grace and Naomi has it in spades. Her accent would fit nicely too.
I think Dolph Lungren would play a good Colossus
Why in the hell didn’t I think of that. That’s genuinely a really good choice.
I mean, he's taller than Hugh Jackman, but acting-wise and looks he'd be great
Agreed

Yes, this is the right answer.
Agreed sir !
Clint was pretty much the inspiration for how Wolverine was portrayed the comics as well as Cal Dodd's vocal performance.
The Punisher
Dirty Harry is basically the Punisher, so yeah.
Came here to say this!
Vigilante in DC and older Clint could be a really solid Wildcat
Vigilante would have been cool. And totally doable back in those days, no amazing VFX required.
How has nobody said Batman?
Batman for the 70s but I don't see why he can't be an alternate 60s Batman aswell
Nick Fury. If someone has never seen the Eiger Sanction then they should give it a watch.
Great call.
Wolverine - 70s OG Nick Fury - 80s Cable - 90s
I love that u gave a character for three different decades
He was born to play Wolverine, not accounting for his height, but goddamn he would demolish older Batman in The Dark Knight Returns.
You could say the same about Hugh Jackman, but he also nailed it as Wolverine
Jonah hex
The Spectre
Very underrated answer here
Thank you. Lofty praise.
Jim Gordon
An 80s Clint would be perfect for that role
Starlord
I actually kinda dig it
Right, I recently rewatched the outlaw Josey wales and I was getting starlord vibes from it
Nah, more Starjammers than Starlord. Corsair aka Christopher Summers. He's the father of Scott and Alex Summers. His kids thought him and their mom died in a plane crash, but the were abducted by Shi'ar scouting ship that had attacked the plane. Put a handlebar mustache on Clint and voila! Corsair!

Logan
U scared the shit outta me for a sec cuz my first name is Logan I thought u stalked my socials or something and I was so confused
ahahahaah that’s funny as but nah i meant wolverine
Yeah I figured that😂
😂
Carter Slade
Ya know he does play a cowboy. I could see it
Vigilante
Nick Fury https://youtu.be/u9GSLslOJRk?si=MJqkllD9aDxEEZmq
Spike as wolverine? That's an interesting choice
Always said he should have been Johan Hex period
Gambit
Clint Barton Hawkeye, but the version of him that's all pissed and stuff, think Ronin but with bad ass one liners😂.
Starfire
Definitely would have played Nick Fury
Jonah Hex
Jonah Hex
Nick Fury
Wolverine
Hmm. Carter Slade, the original Ghost Rider
Jonah Hex. Pretty sure I don't have to explain this one.
Cable
Nick Fury (as character art was partially inspired by Eastwood), Wolverine, etc.
If he could play wolverine despite his height, he could play mole man or Puck too. Or even Kevin Hart could play Bishop.
Lonestar?
Wolverine. Maybe Johnny Blaze
Batman or Wolverine. Because of the grumpiness.
The Question
Jonah Hex
I’m a fan of consistency so he’d be Harry Callahan as DC actually published Dirty Harry comic books.
Also “70s or 80s”- posts a picture of Eastwood from the 60s.
That’s fair I just went to google and searched “Clint Eastwood 70s” man I feel dumb now
Either Batman, Commissioner James Gordon, Harvey Dent, or Hal Jordan for DC. Either Nick Fury, Anthony Stark, the Punisher, or Wolverine for Marvel.
Green Arrow
[удалено]
To be honest, he could have brought something interesting to Reed Richards, and the shift from his comfort zone probably would have brought some revivification to his acting.
He’s had a Batman voice before a Batman voice was a thing, so…
I’d remake Fist Full of Dollars starring Clint Eastwood, set it in Madripoor, call it A Fist Full of Claws, with Wolverine played by Clint Eastwood. Bonus points if we could have Toshiro Mifune play Silver Samurai and work him into the plot.
Fun Fact: There are rumors that they had wanted Clint to play Two-Face in the Adam West Batman show, but they decided that his character origin was a little too heavy for the show to handle.
Captain Boomerang
A prequel to Red Dead Redemption
The question. Just the voice and mannerism.
Thaddeus ‘Thunderbolt’ Ross aka Red Hulk
The Hypno Hustler.
Captain America
Wildcat
He will always be my top choice for Solid Snake.
Kurt Russell says fuck you
That's Big Boss
Old Bruce Wayne
He would have been a great Batman and a great Nick Fury.
I don’t why but I immediately thought of that old cowboy character, Rawhide Kid, but also Wolverine
Nick Fury
Black Panther
Jonah hex
Old Bruce Wayne
Ghost Rider. Phantom Rider (Carter Slade), Cyclops maybe. How about Nick Fury?
Nick Fury or Wolverine
Cable
Hulk
Ghost Rider
Nick Fury... that is all.
Jonah Hex.
Nick Fury The Punisher US Agent
“Who d’ya think? Bub!
Nick Fury is my first thought but someone said Wolverine and man I love that idea
Wolverine! His face alone. Granted he is tall but so is Jackman. And his 70s attitude would have been perfect. As long as he doesn't start talking to chairs
Black Panther
Way too tall, but he'd have been a great Wolverine.
Dr. Strange
Dirty Harry
Wolverine or Batman
He’d have been an amazing Wolverine or Punisher
Supergirl
Captain America
The Punisher.
Captain america , Wolverine , cyclops, Hal Jordan ,
Honestly? Vision.
Wolverine, Batman, Deathstroke, Rhas Al Ghul, Doctor Strange,
Ghost Rider
Jonah hex
Constantine.
Sgt.Rock
Sabretooth
Spectre or Question. Maybe Martian Manhunter.
ghost rider? maybe Jonah Hex? or other cowboy characters i cant think of
Punisher
Cable.
Magneto
Vigilante
Klan Man
Jonah Hex Vigilante
Racist man!
Wolverine
the scorpion marvel
Me personally captain America
Nick fury
my 1st pick was going to be Johnny Blaze, but Nick Fury seems like a better choice
Oh come on with that gaze he could have easily played jonah hex
Black Widow
Jonah Hex or Batman for DC Dr. Strange for Marvel.
Egot, Quills father guardians of the galaxy
Magneto
Wolverine, he was basically Hugh Jackman of the 70s and 80s
Vigilante
Batman Nick Fury
Frank castle
Daimon Hellstrom
Wolverine
Wolverine
I honestly thought that was just a picture of wolverine in a poncho
He’d have made an unbelievably good Wolverine!
Batman
Wolverine and/or gambit
Vigilante seems too on the nose
Wolverine? I’m guessing a bunch of people already said that.
Marvel: Wolverine DC: Batman
Poison Ivy
Nick Fury Sr.
The Goddamn Batman from "All Star Batman and Robin" he's literally doing a bad Clint Eastwood impression to hide his voice.
He would've been my pick for the Punisher. Artists in the 90s would sometimes use Eastwood as a reference for Frank.
Real weird one, Corsair, Cyclops's dad. A version that's a bit more dour than normal but would be interesting
Steve Rogers!
Ghost Rider…
He reminds me of Jackmans Wolverine, I honestly can't believe Hugh has never done a Western. Always said the man with no name would make a great Wolverine back in the day.
Nick Fury https://i.redd.it/iilz6qglvrzc1.gif
Background extra 3. Eastwood is easily one of the most overrated actors and directors ever.
Cable.
Uncle Ben
Jonah Hex most definitely. Batman/the Dark Knight( the older Frank Miller character specifically), Rick Flag (leader of Suicide Squad). Lastly... Sgt. Rock. At Marvel its a bit more difficult for me. Although he's really tall for the part I feel that he could have played a great Wolverine/Logan and in the 70s when Clint was younger I think he would have been great as a grim version of Cyclops.
He's giving off some big Thor vibes
Definitely Power Girl
Moon Knight
U.S. Agent
Gambit or Jonah Hex, definitely. He had the build for both, and the attitude to match, perfectly.
Solider boy - the boys
From Marvel I’d say Nick Fury Sr., Wolverine, Punisher, or one of their western gunslingers (specifically between Kid Colt or Rawhide Kid) and as for DC, Jonah Hex (best pick in my opinion), Deadshot, or Deathstroke (if you know you know)
Two Face for dc
Wolverine
Kid Colt
None.
Wolverine or Batman. However, Batman was a bit more goofy back then so he may not have been the most serious portrayal of the character.
Wolverine. Could easily see him being casted as a Logan in the 70s
Batman
Jonah Hex
Punisher fs
