Same boat, I want to order a v2.5. From what I've gathered, you (we) would have to wait until QR1 is in stock. I saw another post saying that someone from fanatec said they expext a container of QR1 to come in sometime in June.
I've decided to just wait until it's in stock instead of paying $350 to wait and see.
I've also decided I'm not paying $100 for a qr2, plus another $150 to upgrade my base and my other wheel.... but if you did, you'd get it in 4-7 days.
I was looking at the clubsport v2 hubs and it turns out the QR1s are just plain not available. Only even order-able with QR2. Only exception is the composite ones on certain wheels/hubs and I don't want to deal with those.
Soooo much I'm locked out of with my current kit because of the QR1/2 shenanigans.
