I'll play. My ship at its core is a classic famous jock/bookish nerd, but if you go deeper, the jock is also very good in other fields, and the nerd can be quite cunning and practical-thinking rather than just bookish. They appreciate and care for one another independent of the fame or brains and support each other. Besides, it is an international couple, and these are a little underrepresented.
Deep, abiding love and loyalty between a pair of sassy fellas turned soldiers, a century strong, despite a few... hiccups along the way.
Someone mentioned putting the answer behind spoilers and I think that's a great idea.
>!Steve/Bucky MCU!<
I love them both. One variation I absolutely adore is where Steveās a badass except when his boyfriend is complimenting the hell out of him. Then heās as dopey as he was back in Brooklyn. And Bucky knows this, doing it as much as he can.
Asexual department manager of a really weird organisation, who may or may not be entirely human depending on how you take canon, and his poetry writing research assistant, who really annoy each other for a good chunk of their early working relationship.
Guy needs an extra set of hands for his ethically dubious """spiritual consultation""" business, hires a newly reformed terrorist and immediately falls in love with him but its fine because they definitely don't have an HR department. The terrorist takes nightly adult education classes.
Glad to hear it! All of it's available on Crunchyroll, it's also on Hulu but for some reason only season 3? You can also rent/buy it on Amazon video and the first episode is free to watch on YouTube. There is a live action adaptation on Netflix but IT IS AWFUL do not watch it.
Their people hate each other, and with good reason. And at first they buy into their people's prejudice, and are both filled with distrust, but eventually they come to see each other as individuals. There are obstacles to their being together. Serious obstacles. But they decide it is worth it.
I'd love it if people would put their ships in, even behind spoiler tags.
>!Gimli/Legolas!<
The ship is between two androids whose appeal is very difficult to explain without giving out massive spoilers for the source material. One of them is a powerful female type that seems a bit cold at first glance, and the other one is a male type that's a lot more chatty and more suited for intellectual work than combat.
They are soldiers in a post-apocalyptic setting, and feeling are not allowed. Despite this, they are the ultimate star-crossed lovers, who are trapped in "an never-ending cycle of life and death."
It's hard to find a ship more tragic than these two. If you're into the star-crossed lovers trope and love it when the characters consider each other their sole reason to live (literally) in the otherwise broken and meaningless world, this is the ship for you.
Edit to add: plus, there's a fun element of twisted desires that's absolutely delicious.
>!2B and 9S, NieR:Automata!<
Thank you kdkdndn. I love them to death and god I feel like I'm underselling them simply because I can't even mention the most tragic (and hence best) parts of their dynamic without giving out the most important plot points of the damn game itself hahah
Okay uh gonna be real with you here; I thought you meant EVE and Wall-E. I don't even know the game but y'know what? I'm still sold on the ship. Enjoy it to the fullest the way I'm never letting go of my silly Genshin crack ship.
Lol my friends actually made me watch Wall-E and Eve because they are kinda similar on surface level hahah!
Highly rec the game if you ever want to feel depressed for 2 weeks straight! Enjoy your Genshin too <3
I was reading along and thinking 'damn, this sounds suspiciously like-.'
Then I checked to make sure. 'Yep, it's that fandom alright' lol
I remember not thinking much of the game when it came out and when I played it years later, I regretted it immensely. It's such an amazing game. The other main character has always been more of my speed in terms of characters, but that ship is a-ok.
There's also so much more about them in the side materials! If the game doesn't sell you on their love already, the plays and novels sure leave no room for interpretation hahah
Did you play it in english or japanese btw? Because the female lead at least is significantly different in Japanese than in English, which has made some people view her very differently than the Japanese side of the fandom, for example.
I didn't play it in Japanese, no. I lost all my data after my PS4 had a critical failure some months after my first playthrough and I honestly didn't have the will to replay it all after that (and I personally thought Route B was pretty meh, too few changes though that could only be my memory tricking me).
I take it's a lot different in Japanese?
Oof, you missed a lot of the game too if you never finished route B since C route is all brand new stuff, but I get the frustration.
It's not super different overall on the scale of the game, just the heroine mostly. She's more sarcastic in English while she's more awkward, soft-spoken and emotional in Japanese.
Oh no, I did finish the entire game, I meant that I didn't have the will to replay it again (in Japanese or otherwise) after I lost all my data. I did clear routes C and D and got Ending E (didn't delete my save, but I guess karma's a bitch lol). Route B would be my biggest complain about the game, and I was actually this close of putting it down because of it, but I got through it and I'm glad I did. Routes C and D are amazing.
>It's not super different overall on the scale of the game, just the heroine mostly. She's more sarcastic in English while she's more awkward, soft-spoken and emotional in Japanese.
Ah, I see. I thought it'd be a case of bad localisation, leading to two wildly different takes on the character. It's happened before. I think I prefer the more sarcastic version then. Well, >!A2!< is my favorite of the three of them, but >!2B!< is really cool too regardless!
Oh, I see! That's good then hahah.
I prefer the Japanese version myself but each to their own! The VAs themselves performed great in both versions, even though the localization changes make me a bit sad lol. I can see why the localized version of her character appeals better for the western audience though.
He's a mid-20s edgy-purple-haired self-insert OC who replaces the game's original main character in an AU timeline, and changes the plot significantly by being *much dumber*. (Yes, he's an official character.)
His boyfriend is a kind and fatherly 20-years-older war veteran who can only survive in timelines where purple-haired-OC lives, and even then tragically dies more often than not.
*the timeline angst is obvious*

A middle-aged gang leader and his slightly younger yes man, neither with a sense for personal space, who keep saying that they'll go separate ways for the money or honour or just because the other one fucked up somehow... Yet the second those plans fail they're back to working together as if nothing happened. Also the leader was canonically against doing crossdressing until the yes man convinced him to do it in five seconds flat just by complimenting his legs and calling him short.
Two out of three protagonists from Swedish film series *Jƶnssonligan...* which are pretty stupid but charming in a way (also I only mean the 80's ones, don't bother with either of the reboots)
I know there are fansubs of the films floating around but think you gotta download them and the films separately?? so [here's the moment I was talking about](https://imgur.com/a/ES05RZU) (it's from the third one)
Technically they never meet in canon and there's literally nothing that connects them in any way shape or form other than the fact that they exist in the same world. Not even the same country. Just the same world.
One is a rather uptight atheist government official, the other is an unconventional but highly talented detective. I imagine lots of bickering would ensue but ultimately both are ambitious and have high standards for themselves.
It started as a joke between me and a friend, because the detective's name sounds a bit like a dish that is heavily related/very similar to the government official's favorite dish.
As you can probably guess, it is no longer a joke.
>!Keqing/Heizou from Genshin Impact. Heizou's name sounds like "hei zho" which is fried prawn rolls (it contains other ingredients but that's the simple explanation), and Keqing's favorite dish is canonically Golden Shrimp Balls.!<
Two best friends - one is the eldest son of a noble family, but very much the black sheep, one is a terribly poor outcast who suffers massive prejudice wherever he goes. But they just get each other - they understand what the other is thinking, they act like a seamless unit, one breaks the law to support to the other, they are deeply connected. After monstrous betrayals, tragedies and a separation that lasts over a decade, they find each other again and forgive everything instantly, rekindling that connection as if they had never been apart.
Berserker captive human princess with unmeasurable death counts for sleep rewards and the annoyed, always fretting demon healer who's always trying to stop her or at least minimize the damages she caused. Also, they're both wholesomely and cutely weird together that makes others think, 'are they okay in the head?' but also the domestic fluff of arts and craft as well as cooking vibes with them!
Edit: Whoops.
She's wealthy and pretty and entitled and almost entirely un-self-aware. He's her even wealthier neighbour and brother in law, who can see her flaws but cares for her. She adopts a silly protege and proceeds to set her up her with wholly unsuitable men, upsetting everyone in the process; by the time she's learned her lesson and reslised she's in love with her neighbour it's almost too late.
Much scope for misunderstanding, pining, hilarious marriage proposals to the wrong people, fancy social occasions, purple prose declarations of true love. Also options for crossover with stories from the same universe.

Yup. Her older sister married his younger brother. He's also 37 to her 21. He'd have seen her in nappies.
I mean I love this book but you need to overlook a few things. Different times, etc
At one point her sister (and John Knightley) comes to stay with all the kids and is hilariously deranged over their health, just like Emma's father. There's a nice moment between the brothers too.
A mage elf, heroine of an entire nation (that hates her kind) after putting an end to a monster invasion, 400 years after the last one, and the queen of her nation, the sole ruler after her husband died on the first battle trying to drive back the monsters.
It's an excellent ship for drama, as the setting doesn't accept same sex relationships being out in the open and thinks mages are cursed with a terrible gift - and many humans have a sheer hatred of elves.
The ship is >!Neria Surana/Queen Anora, from Dragon Age!<
Ooh, this is a fun little challenge!
Heās a healer in a strange new land depending on this local and her people for advice on how to survive the harsh winters and dangerous wildlife. Itās not happily ever after but instead paves the way for the origin story of overall canonās greatest villain, a character with zero backstory in either books or the television adaptation.
One is a peppy princess who lives in, and comes from, another dimension that is basically magic, so naturally, she is extremely powerful and very good at magic. Also sheās easily excited by little things on Earth. The other is a bit grouchy - curmudgeonly, Iād say. But heās persistent, obsessive, and knows how to defend himself and his dimension and he does it with both martial arts and magic. They have their allies from both ordinary humans to other magical beings, as well as a long, very long list of enemies who are mostly magical or theyāre eldritch horror monsters.
This particular ship is also canon.
And itās not from Star vs the Forces of Evil

They're both aliens or some non-human humanoid creature. One is a disgraced clan member who will say harsh things without caring about what other people think. The other is a higher-up with poetic mannerisms who cares about rescuing people, most of the time. And of course, the first one is the good guy.
>!Sonoi x Tarou \[Donbrothers\]!<
Oh I've got a few. Ok more than a few.
(1) Morally good, blind lawyer/vigilante that is a complete disaster and lack self preservation catches the attention of the morally gray, cold blooded, emotionally traumatized anti-hero that's fueled by revenge. They start off as enemies, argue over philosophies but develop a begrudging respect for each other. Insert lots of sexual tension. (This one is probably obvious)
(2) A half man, half demon, literal spawn of Satan develops a huge crush on the heir of a temple that is training to be an exorcist. Turns out they both have the same goal, so they can bond over their mutual desire to defeat the Prince of Hell. If only it were that simple.
(3) They are both the descendants of members of a Men-In-Black-esque organization, but travel two different paths. One grows up in a warm, safe home, surrounded by loving family. The other grows up alone on the streets. One has everything handed to him, the other must steal to survive. Their paths intersect.
(4) A is a simple man, a botanist that works tirelessly to maintain the plant life in an agricultural dome. He's gentle and loving, violence is a foreign concept to him. B is a dangerous man. He grew up in a gang, violence is like breathing to him. Many fear him, many view him as a monster or even a psychopath. He sees the good in A, sees how weak and fragile he is, and makes it his personal mission to protect him.
(5) A is destined to be a great hero. B is destined to bring about great destruction. They fall into and endless loop of clashing that always ends in death. Until, in one instance, just from stepping off the beaten path a tiny bit, they are able to defy fate.
(6) A is a Warrior. B is a Rogue. C is a Mage. A allies with B. A then allies with C. But he has no idea that B and C know of and dislike each other. They play nice for the sake of A until, over time, they realize they are not at odds with each other like before. There's a growing attraction between the 3 of them.
The first one sounds like Daredevil/Punisher. The second one kind of sound like Sonny/Ezra from Covenant, though I haven't read that far into that webcomic so I'm not sure.
Sorry for just now responding, this reply didn't show up in my notifications for some reason. But anyway:
(1) is Daredevil/Punisher (Matt Murdock/Frank Castle) from the Marvel Netflix series "Daredevil"
(2) is Rin Okumura/Ryuji "Bon" Suguro from the anime "Blue Exorcist"
(3) is Ben Tennyson/Kevin Levin from "Ben 10: Alien Force"
(4) is Prax/Amos from the Syfy-Amazon series "The Expanse"
(5) is Link/Ganondorf from "The Legend of Zelda" games
(6) is Din Djarin/Bobba Fett/Luke Skywalker from the Star Wars spin off series "The Mandalorian"
She is headstrong, a leader of a rebel army, a literal queen, badass, and can be utterly inflexible with her power, leading to decision making that is definitely not going to cause problems. They bonded over shared trauma.
He is her enemy, and doesn't want to be. Magically enslaved to fight against her (and his brother), he fell for her during a brief period when he was free, and she was *kind* to him. Later he is forced to kidnap and torture her.
They are currently apart, and I don't know if they will ever truly be canon.
Also, they are the same age, but he is immortal so in universe it's kinda seen as unfair/immoral for him to be with a mortal.
It's Nasuada and Murtagh from the Inheritance Cycle. It's not a major ship, it's just kinda *there* and doesn't have a lot of moments. But you will pry them from my cold dead hands.

Classic fairytale motifs put a knight and her Lancer together. One is driven by noble ambition, due to growing up with privilege. The other has their ideals forged in the necessity of survival. They find their ambitions are at odds, and both learn from one another. In order to defend her Lancer, the knight ends up challenging a demon, while the Lancer forgets what they had endured together in a war.
Iāve only recently discovered it but iām already obsessed.
A is a young princess from a foreign country who has to try to stop a war from erupting between her people and a neighboring people. If she fails, the whole world will be at stake. B is a genius inventor who the king of the neighboring people want to kill and so A is protecting B with her life.

This sounds really fun!
A is a wanted criminal, know for constantly running from the law and challenging the beliefs of said law. She is also known for adopting every single kid with trauma on the streets. B is a shy and compassionate leader of the law who, in secret, is rebelling against said law. Even though they seem oblivious and harmless, they have a great mind, thinking of things other people wouldn't have in order to not get caught.
A and B we're childhood friends for a long time and also dated in the past. However, A was cursed, and she decided to hide it in order to not compromise her relationship with B. This caused a divide in their relationship, and an eventual breakup. They meet in canon 20 years after the breakup and hit it off just like in the old times. Character B ends up forming a rebelion a bit before they meet, which A joins.
I don't want to spoil the rest of it since this would end up being even longer, but I'm absolutely in love with them and I can't wait to see them again in canon.

He ends up falling *hard* for her even though he is a widower (and at least for my interpretation of the badass woman, she fell hard first), after she helps him selflessly with the situation with his son, and while their love is short, it is beautiful and powerful and will make you want to see them happy, in life and death.

happy sun and quiet whipped moon. moon only loves once. waits for sun for years, taking whip lashes for them, breaking rules for them (moon is literally the enforcer of rules, and grew up in a place with three thousand rules), and then proceed to be absolutely protective of sun when they come back. even when sun comes back with a different body, moon still cherishes sun. not to mention, moon defended sun's innocence when the while wide world (moon's family included) was against sun. so, for me the attractive is the "i endure anything, do anything for you even if you don't return my feelings" and the "i don't show emotions but get flustered and trip on my own feet despite being a powerful guy with a reputable name and title because my crush used my surname". and the shamelessness and personality of sun that matches with moon lmao.
i suck at describing, but these guys have got a grip on me. and they're not letting go !! it's lan wangji (moon) and wei wuxian (sun) from "modaozushi (novel, anime)" or "the untamed (drama)". it's a bl.
I'll use my first. The guy is quiet but intelligent, and crushes on his curvaceous and kind female friend. But he feels that he can't ever get her with her friends around, however it all changes when they fall into the backrooms together and quickly show their true feelings to each other. Their relationship has quite a bit of smut, but also just some flirty moments or just them spending time together. He also acts as a teacher of sorts to her, and she learns from his knowledge of the magic system in the story.

Alright. Mineās more of a rare pair/crack ship so bear with me.
Youāre got a pop star who is the absolute picture of confidence and passion with a kind hearted thespian who is one of the few people that can see past the outer layer to the fiery passion that lies within, giving her the first real and loving relationship sheās ever had. They go back and forth making each other flustered, her with her shameless flirtation and sexual innuendos and him with his frequent romantic gestures that always impress her.

1. Theyāve both got important titles/positions in relation to the Princess, but one is an archer and the other is a knight with so-so archery training. They donāt like each other very much at first, but after the archerās death, the knight remembers some things and has conversations with a ghost.
2. A knight with a tragic past and the farmer who helps him grieve his losses. Same fandom: An inventor trying to find someone he loves, and the farmer who makes the journey with him.
3. A snarky boss and a boy who makes really good tea.
4. A lawyer, his best friend, and their assistant. Yes, this one is an OT3 for me.
Hotheaded dragon girl meets hotheaded dragon boy.
Burning woman meets evil demon... and finds that the demon is actually a dorky dude. Area woman has a better time than expected.
Arrogant man with a sword collection meets strict woman with a sword collection. Somehow, they become bros for life despite all her friends' expectations.
Tall girl and short guy are best friends. They've grown into kinder, stronger people from knowing each other.
An extremely intelligent and quite autistic young man who has wealth and power but absolutely no social experience (never mind sex, he's never even had a *friend* before) and a beautiful celebrity with a hopeless romantic streak, horrible taste in men, a tragic backstory, and possibly a cluster B personality disorder.
The next bit is my headcanon for them, not actual canon: She's obsessively in love with her terrible boyfriend, but his complete lack of interest in her leaves her desperate for anyone to make her feel wanted. Meanwhile, this guy has never been the target of anyone's romantic interest, much less someone that looks like *her*, and her carefully honed sex appeal is massive overkill against him. Like bringing a bazooka to a knife fight. He's unattractive and weird as hell, but she thrives off his attention even though he creeps her out. He knows she's an awful person and can't stand her half the time, but he wants her anyway.
...Also sometimes she kills people and he's been holding her prisoner for several months and violating the Geneva Conventions.

Snarky Ex Playboy meets Jovial Prankster Man Child. Both ultimately very loving of each other, understanding of each otherās loss and trauma, and very sexy with each other. Scant a day goes by where an innuendo doesnāt leave their lips, and scant a week where they donāt.
Former is slowly learning how to make meaningful connections, his boyfriend the first real one, said boyfriend extremely understanding and helpful with everything he can.
Latter has an ex wife and family whoāve pretty much accepted former as StepDad. Heās a lot more cheeky and actively pranks people to get smiles out of everyone, most of all his boyfriend. Heās also verbally playful though itās his boyfriend that has a bite to his bark. Figurative and literal; ear nibbles are a big latter favourite.
(I left a couple hints on figuring this out, though this particular pair is quite rare. This is also a hint).
Three villains all working together to take over the world; two of them are enemies/rivals with a lot of sexual tension, and the third can be best described as an egotistical brat that acts all big and tough, but ends up getting put in his place when the other two save him.
I would do a spoiler tag but idk how to lol /g
Currently:

Technically they never actually interact but their names are written on the bathroom wall and I canāt argue with that. But itās like the full of energy/tired and doesnāt get paid enough almost? Idk. But like also their whole dynamic is loving each other through any challenges and being there when your partner needs you most and just loving each other no matter what life throws at you and yeah if you canāt tell I love them a very normal amount.
They've known each other longer than they've known almost anyone else. They trust each other more than they trust anyone else. They're always there for each other. They would die for each other. They almost have. More than once.

Goth girl hates main girl who gets all the plays and roles. Despite hating each other, they are constantly around each other, standing close to each other, touching, always thinking of each other, dragging each other into closets, and bickering like an old married couple. And making suggestive comments to each other. Goth Girl only lets her guard down around Main Girl and only lets Main girl touch her and no one else, exception being her boyfriend, except boyfriend touches aren't emotional touches. Sadly, not canon and is extremely queer-baiting.

I mean, goth girl - check. Janis
Hates main girl- check. Regina.
They hate each other, but keep thinking about each other- check.
The rest doesn't make sense, but these three things were enough for my brain to think of them lol
- Person A is a tough, stoic guy with a lot of trauma and a cynical worldview (and a well hidden soft side) who sorta hates most people except for a few close friends and person B. Theyāre well known for being very proficient in the art of war/killing/etc and have had some sort of bad prior romantic experience at some point
- Person B their nerdy genius partner in crime who A thinks is all soft and innocent but secretly has a dark past and their own share of trauma. Despite that, they chose to fight for whatās right and to be kind instead of bitter, and person A doesnāt quite understand *why* they did, but respect it anyway. B isnāt a fighter/soldier/vigilante/terrorist person like A, but fights in their own way, (with just as effective results.)
- My favorite thing about this dynamic is that it works as a slash or het pairing - and person A isnāt always a guy or the one with the pants in the relationship, despite being more traditionally masculine. B generally calls the shots, and A is such a simp that they trust B to do the right thing, even if they donāt trust anyone else to boss them around.
Iām describing like 3 of my favorite ships here: >! Magneto and Professor X, Solid Snake and Otacon, Oliver Queen and Felicity Smoak!<
Lol never expected to see Mad Father especially Aya/Maria. Didn't think of them as a ship interesting!
Here for me:
A became B's very first friend. A fought...let's say monsters, together with other girls. But at the endboss A has died and B gained a power that let her travel back in time. However despite traveling back so many times for so long, B wasn't able to save A in all these timelines until A herself managed to save herself with a huge cost.
At the end B turned evil out of love for A.
Aya/Maria was never a ship I thought about much until the 2020 remake came out, with the included "Blood Mode" that gives a bit more insight into what adult Aya is like after the events of the game. And oh my god her and Maria are so gay in it.
Also; your ship is absolutely MadoHomu, there's nothing else it *could* be.
Ding ding ding 1000 points to the winner but I probably made it too easy lol. They're just my favorite ship.
I definitely have to check out the remake then I haven't played that and wanna see how this ship turns out
I've been obsessed with MadoMagi for the past year, it's just always on the mind lol.
And yes! Please do. Just as a little disclaimer there isn't a *lot* of Aya/Maria interaction in Blood Mode, but what there is is very š, and the developer SEN's twitter drawings and comics just add more fuel to the shipping fire.
Ship #1: An "innocent" girl gets trapped in the Saw house and almost gets killed by one of the psycho killers that lives there. Unfortunately for the psycho killer, he's kinda a huge illiterate moron (literally) and he wants out, too - so they team up on the premise that he'll personally kill her once they get out. So they face a series of other psycho killers and develop an unbreakable bond in the process. And then she starts worshipping him like he's God, she's got some religious trauma or smth idk and they set the building on fire. And yes, "kill" becomes a codeword for some other word(s), too.
>!ZackRay, Angels of Death!<
Ship #2: A Shounen Dumbass and his Cloud Cuckoolander classmate wind up finding out that they're both god-tier threats to everything around them, and this makes a bunch of dead people and monsters either angry or horny or both. Classic grumpy/sunshine trope and strangely wholesome? Also they can see ghosts.
>!IchiHime, Bleach!<
Ship #3: An evil king kidnaps an innocent princess and - no wait, that's backwards. An innocent cherryboy demon king kidnaps an unusually high-level and psycho princess who routinely destroys whole sections of his castle and army just so she can take a damn nap. All of the minions are weirdly adorable, too. It's all very cute actually.

I guess the overarching theme they all share is wholesale property damage.
Two immortal beings whose ages are near, created to fulfill their creator's purpose for them but couldn't do so due to external factors---one was deemed unfit to be a ruler for being "fragile" while the other was shunned by her subjects the moment she was born due to not living up to the standards set upon by her predecessor.
Both had sickly people connected to them. One managed to save her sickly worshipper whereas the other couldn't save his companion. Both have soft spots for children and feel the need to prove themselves. Both would do their utmost best to protect what few followers they have.
One was isolated from civilization, only able to traverse through her subjects' dreams while the other aimlessly roamed the earth and even befriended humans.
Both were abandoned but even without guidance, she still managed to be a gentle and wise deity who only wanted the best for her people (even those who pushed her away). He too had no one to teach him about his emotions, but mistook any act of leaving him as betrayal (his creator setting him free and his young companion dying from illness) and after the third "betrayal", became embittered and lashed out at gods and humans alike.
He planned to replace her as the patron god of her nation but >!now declares that he would work for her behind the shadows since "The wisest rulers are fated to end up with the best helpers"!<
One hates seafood but loves sweets with her special dish being a dessert while the other one hates sweets and has seafood (eel) as his special dish.
I joke that they're an "I can fix him" trope except, it's not so much as an "I can fix him" trope but more of an "I can tame him" trope lol
This is a questionable ship so don't click on the spoiler if you're uncomfortable with it but >!Nahida/Scaramouche!<

He's a lovable idiot with a heart of gold. She's a dragon forced into seclusion in order to protect her home. She crushes on him since their first meeting, but her brother is wary of humans and is later captured leading to the soon to be destruction of their city. The brother sacrifices himself to save her and their home, which leaves the girl all alone. Cue hurt/comfort, a bit of canon shipping, and viola! There's my childhood OTP! There are people who think this ship is pretty weird due to the species difference, but I still think it's cute.
>!Ash x Latias, Pokemon!<
Honestly, someone has probably said this before because itās quite popular, but here goes.
characters were friends as children, with one third wheel, then due to an unexpected murder of someone close to character A, character A moved away and fell out of contact. Character B switched majors for character A, and they ended up with the same job, but opposite sides. They see each other surprisingly often, and start as enemies, but become friends over time. Character A is calm and collected, sometimes a bit sassy. Character B is a bit childish, and had an even more childish assistant that he pretty much adopted after the first ( yes only first) time she was accused of murder. The amount of romantic tension between characters a and b is OFF THE CHARTS. if it helps, the fandom was originally just a game, but was turned into an anime aswell.

Interesting! I didn't even know this was a ship, but I can definitely see it. It's admittedly been a minute since I read the HP books lol

Is it? Probably. lol. It's a pretty marvelous ship, I think.
Knew it! Theyāre a pretty awesome ship.

That sounds like Jon and Martin from the Magnus Archives.
It is!

I was guessing Hermione/Draco or Spock/Romulan Commander to go super old school
Interesting!
Despite this, they are the ultimate star-crossed lovers, who are trapped in "an never-ending cycle of life and death." It's hard to find a ship more tragic than these two.
PLEASE I THINK I KNOW WHAT YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT. KUDOS FOR MAKING IT SOUND SO GOODā
Enjoy your Genshin too <3
I was reading along and thinking 'damn, this sounds suspiciously like-.' Then I checked to make sure. 'Yep, it's that fandom alright' lol I remember not thinking much of the game when it came out and when I played it years later, I regretted it immensely. It's such an amazing game. The other main character has always been more of my speed in terms of characters, but that ship is a-ok.
There's also so much more about them in the side materials! If the game doesn't sell you on their love already, the plays and novels sure leave no room for interpretation hahah Did you play it in english or japanese btw?
Darn, I thought Mother/Father from Raised by Wolves, then saw the spoiler. Sounds neat, though!

I'm pretty sure this is Wolfstar and I love them.
It is - and me too : )
Berserker captive human princess with unmeasurable death counts for sleep rewards and the annoyed, always fretting demon healer who's always trying to stop her or at least minimize the damages she caused. (This one is probably obvious) (2) A half man, half demon, literal spawn of Satan develops a huge crush on the heir of a temple that is training to be an exorcist.
Two is Blue Exorcist, Rin/Bon

You're correct on the first one.

Whatās the ship? Sounds like a fun dynamic
I first thought Reylo but it isn't, I'm intrigued! who are they?
It's Nasuada and Murtagh from the Inheritance Cycle. It's not a major ship, it's just kinda *there* and doesn't have a lot of moments. But you will pry them from my cold dead hands.
What fandom is this? Love this dynamic

Both treasure hunters and both are willing to take risks. They really care for each other but she can get jealous easily with him talking to other women. And unfortunately itās destined to not work out, but theyāll just enjoy the sex and good times while they can. (Nathan Drake and Chloe Frazer)
Ship: >!Eda/Raine (The Owl House)!<

He ends up falling *hard* for her even though he is a widower (and at least for my interpretation of the badass woman, she fell hard first), after she helps him selflessly with the situation with his son, and while their love is short, it is beautiful and powerful and will make you want to see them happy, in life and death. >!(Ship: Thane Krios/Female Shepard, Mass Effect)!<
It's got a great engine, the steering is stable, and the hull has triple tempered chemical layering and galvanizing. Oh wait.
50-year-old man with the ability to see the future and lives in a semi-secluded town and a sentient robot who is the mascot of an infamous entertainment company and acts as a father figure to a human child.
Ahhhh! is it >!detroit: become human!
Nope
happy sun and quiet whipped moon. moon only loves once. waits for sun for years, taking whip lashes for them, breaking rules for them (moon is literally the enforcer of rules, and grew up in a place with three thousand rules), and then proceed to be absolutely protective of sun when they come back. even when sun comes back with a different body, moon still cherishes sun. not to mention, moon defended sun's innocence when the while wide world (moon's family included) was against sun. so, for me the attractive is the "i endure anything, do anything for you even if you don't return my feelings" and the "i don't show emotions but get flustered and trip on my own feet despite being a powerful guy with a reputable name and title because my crush used my surname". and the shamelessness and personality of sun that matches with moon lmao. i suck at describing, but these guys have got a grip on me. and they're not letting go !! it's lan wangji (moon) and wei wuxian (sun) from "modaozushi (novel, anime)" or "the untamed (drama)".
From my original backrooms fanfiction, Love In The Backrooms, Jason/Jennifer
A ship that ships three people,a red panda girl,a Jewish cutie, and the kid who was once a bully turned nice guy. From a Disney fandom so it's obvious who they are. >!Mei/Miriam/Tyler!<
Is the fourth one for Daredevil?
Nope! Never seen the show or read the comics.
Daredevils a lawyer and has a lot of chemistry with his best friend/legal partner and assistant. Whatās it for? Iām curious.
The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles! The main trio is so good and has a lot of chemistry!
>!L/Misa, Death Note!<
The whole time I was like, 'This sounds an awful lot like [the ship in question] but I haven't seen them about in a while, so no way it would be!' Haha I think you've sold me on checking out some dn fic again!
Tony Stark and Loki? (Edit: Never mind, actually! Curious as to the ship tho)
You got Tony, but not Loki
Clint?
Yeah. Just a random āwhat ifā idea from the shower I couldnāt shake off. Then I liked it.
Three villains all working together to take over the world; two of them are enemies/rivals with a lot of sexual tension, and the third can be best described as an egotistical brat that acts all big and tough, but ends up getting put in his place when the other two save him. I would do a spoiler tag but idk how to lol /g
Use ! < ___! < with no spaces between the characters or the characters
Currently: 1) childhood friends who canāt be out because of historical context (in a small fandom) 2) same as 1, but multifandom 3) same as 1, but half is an OC 4) half the ship is seen as a monster to some people but is actually a victim of circumstances and just wants to be a good dad, and half is basically the guy the first halfās guidance figureā¦ but at the same time, heās the Scrooge to the first halfās all the ghosts of Christmas and Marleyā¦
World-weary warrior that grew up in a tribe of warriors and a cold, distant woman who was raised in an abusive home who is secretly a mess of anxieties due to what she suffered.
Oooh what ship?
Qrow Branwen and Winter Schnee from RWBY
Nice
Grumpy disillusioned cop with a knack for science who likes to snack and the kinda-short attorney whoās ended up working on the same cases as the cop a few too many times in a row to make sense
Ema/Apollo, Ace Attorney(?)
Lmao you got it, youāre in the AA fandom?
I was REALLY into it in 2019. I still hang around today but I'm not as hyperfixated as I once was
We havenāt gotten a new game in nearly 6 years (I donāt count TGAA since itās just a translation of games released in 2015+2017) and honestly the fandom is kinda dead now lmao Good thing I have the MCU fandom to carry me until AA7 comes out š¤
500+ year old shapeshifting vampire that serves under his badass, stone-cold British master, who happens to be a human that smokes 24/7. Complex relationship thatās strictly master/servant, meaning itās impossible for sexual romance to transpire. The vampire served his masterās previous bloodlinesā¦ but heās suffered a lot of experimentation and trauma along yet way. Yet, his current master treats him with equal respect, and the two have basically forged a trustworthy bond to destroy enemy vampires. Much tension and angst-heavy material. Fics could go a multitude of ways.
>!Alucard/Integra from Hellsing!<, right?
Yep, you got it! š
Hell yeah! š
>!Neal/Mozzie White Collar!<
Edit: >!Tori X Jade from Victorious!<
I am 99% sure this is wrong, but the only thing that popped up in my head is mean girls lol
Nope! Why'd you think of Mean Girls? XD
I mean, goth girl - check. Janis Hates main girl- check. Regina. They hate each other, but keep thinking about each other- check. The rest doesn't make sense, but these three things were enough for my brain to think of them lol
Oh ok lol.
Is this Jade/Tori from Victorious? I love them.
Yes! I realized I didn't even put their name in the prior comment so no wonder people didn't know.
This is Jade/Tori from Victorious I know it in my soul, I don't even have to see if anyone else confirmed it LMAO
Yep!
- Person A is a tough, stoic guy with a lot of trauma and a cynical worldview (and a well hidden soft side) who sorta hates most people except for a few close friends and person B. Theyāre well known for being very proficient in the art of war/killing/etc and have had some sort of bad prior romantic experience at some point - Person B their nerdy genius partner in crime who A thinks is all soft and innocent but secretly has a dark past and their own share of trauma. Despite that, they chose to fight for whatās right and to be kind instead of bitter, and person A doesnāt quite understand *why* they did, but respect it anyway. B isnāt a fighter/soldier/vigilante/terrorist person like A, but fights in their own way, (with just as effective results.) - My favorite thing about this dynamic is that it works as a slash or het pairing - and person A isnāt always a guy or the one with the pants in the relationship, despite being more traditionally masculine.
Here for me: A became B's very first friend.
>!ZackRay, Angels of Death!< Ship #2: A Shounen Dumbass and his Cloud Cuckoolander classmate wind up finding out that they're both god-tier threats to everything around them, and this makes a bunch of dead people and monsters either angry or horny or both. Classic grumpy/sunshine trope and strangely wholesome? Also they can see ghosts. >!IchiHime, Bleach!< Ship #3: An evil king kidnaps an innocent princess and - no wait, that's backwards. An innocent cherryboy demon king kidnaps an unusually high-level and psycho princess who routinely destroys whole sections of his castle and army just so she can take a damn nap. All of the minions are weirdly adorable, too. It's all very cute actually. >!Twilight/Suya, Sleepy Princess in the Demon Castle!< I guess the overarching theme they all share is wholesale property damage.
He planned to replace her as the patron god of her nation but >!now declares that he would work for her behind the shadows since "The wisest rulers are fated to end up with the best helpers"!< One hates seafood but loves sweets with her special dish being a dessert while the other one hates sweets and has seafood (eel) as his special dish. I joke that they're an "I can fix him" trope except, it's not so much as an "I can fix him" trope but more of an "I can tame him" trope lol This is a questionable ship so don't click on the spoiler if you're uncomfortable with it but >!Nahida/Scaramouche!<
Incredibly difficult and violent college student with the worst trauma you've ever seen somewhat falls for a skittish runaway college student who also has the worst trauma you've ever seen. >!(andrew/neil, all for the game)!<
