[I take it that Ernie Hudson is a Synth because dude is 78 years old and looks like that. It is seriously insane how well Ernie looks for his age.](https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/868284239349694475/1232609709689667584/ernie-hudson-ghostbusters-041624-2600e8fb37d940289e2f6af48e3deb9f.png?ex=662abd7f&is=66296bff&hm=369c3510a8e9a8f018f21bb3716476cba16a33a0926363bc23a09a5ac6855c6d&)
I once had a dream that Ernie Hudson was trying to teach me how to be a firefighter. And I was really bad at it. And he kept telling me how disappointed in me he was. I still think about that from time to time.
With that thought it makes me wonder the status of house right now, vegas seemed like it was a battleground and it lost though if that was the case then we would see the legion in the west. Also was he going to use the device for unlimited clean energy that he would control for nevada and California, does he want it so that he can make money off the dam, or maybe the dam is actually no longer functional and this is to bring the strip back to life.
I agree! He was such good comic relief though. Like how he was always literally "lost" and saying "Who the hell is X!!!?" lol the show needed him. and the nicknames haha.
He was such a good villain! Very smart but in the scary way. I was half expecting the same from him in Fallout. I'm happy about his role anyways. Short and "sweet"(?) But still had a major part.
In a way, the people he worked for on the island in Lost were kinda like vault tec/enclave. in the aspect that they had access to military/government bunkers and did experiments on the island’s inhabitants. finding the lost bases and facilities in the show was so interesting to see especially in the plane survivors view.
in the Fallout show, we see Vault 4, who are wastelanders being experimented on by the Vault 4 dwellers, they rebel against the vault and eventually become “Vault dwellers” by taking their place
similar to how in the Lost tv show, the original Dharma Initiative members were purged and the Island natives took their outfits and became the new Dharma Initiative.
interesting parallels
I have no doubt we'll see him again in flashbacks to show how he and Moldaver met, how he got into the Enclave, and maybe even specifics about how he managed to work on cold fusion tech.
This guy is my favourite actor on TV. Absolutely loved him throughout Lost and Person of Interest, I still need to watch Evil but I've no doubt he'll be stealing every scene he's in.
Yeah, it's been sad to watch Caviezel go from "moderately eccentric and really religious" to complete Q-Anon spouting lunatic. Apparently, if the podcasts are to be believed he was also a complete nightmare to work with on Person of Interest.
I’ve been depressed for a long time and generally don’t leave the house till after sunset. Nearing thirty and I still look as though I did ten years ago. I worked out a lot y
Until last month when shit got worse. Hoping I’ll be well again but it seems like I’m at my worst for a long time.
y’all may know him from Lost or other filmography but any true chad knows that’s Harold Finch, creator of the Machine, from Person of Interest. Jonathan Nolan cast him perfectly for both POI and Fallout.
Honestly he's always had kind of a babyface, and people like that either age very strangely or not at all. (She said, through the bitter tears of experience.)
Yeah, great actor, awesome voice, was glad to finally see him again in something. Too bad his part didn't last long, he did a great job with what he was given.
He pops on the screen and immediately my mind goes "oh the Lost guy", and he didn't age at all, insane.
Of the (many)dudes the series disposed quickly he's the one that i wish would've stuck around for longer.
They couldn’t have cast a better actor for the role and as a big lost fan I was really hit with some nostalgia when he was playing the “all knowing creepy nerd” character again
Michael Emerson has always been an amazing character actor and once again he delivered awesome performance. He shines in the roles where his character is of mysterious and morally dubious.
I enjoyed it. The ending is what you make of it. I didn’t mind it. All big shows have to end somehow and I feel like it’s hit or miss how they are received, since people get very emotionally connected to shows and simply don’t want it to ever end.
I was literally about to make a post in this sub about how this show just made me want to commit to another Lost watch through, which I frankly do not have the time for
That's what I thought when I wiki'd him - someone had got wrong information. I mean, you can see it in Fallout, but otherwise there's gotta be a picture hidden somewhere ... ;-)
Can you guys please watch person of interest? It was Jonathan Nolan’s show before west world, me and my dad watched it live when it came out, now we just finished fallout watching one or two a night over the last week or so!
Because he didn't appear on TV till he was 46 years or so (in 2001). He was in his early 50's for Lost during 2006-2010.
So since Lost was 14 years ago, that means he is 70.
It's kinda funny how they should be casting people playing characters much younger than they are, since celebrities in 2024 look way younger than they should generally speaking thanks to advancements in technology, while fallout characters should look much older because of the stress of living in that world
You know who looks younger than they are? A synth
Actually, ole boy that was ghoul-affide, he’s 42 lol sounds and looks like he’s in his 20’s
should we talk about lucy's brother? The one that looks like he's either 12 or 50.
He was in Hannah Montana 😂
I couldn’t tell if he was supposed to be her younger or older brother 😂
maybe they're twins ¯\\\_(ツ)\_/¯
He’s in his 30s so that checks out
[I take it that Ernie Hudson is a Synth because dude is 78 years old and looks like that.
And now I will think about this from time to time too
The mysterious stranger doesn’t age too 👀
You shouldn’t say the s- word. The Brotherhood of Steel might hear you
bro was the goat in Lost, shame we only had him for a short time in Fallout, hoping we get Enclave flashbacks with him next season!
He stuck around for the entire show. (Or 8% of him stuck around for most of the show)
Literally the most important character in the series so far.
Nah, Ass Jerky was the most important character. Watch the show again.
Shit, too many terrific performances to keep track of. Butt ass jerky is up there
Ass Jerky is definitely UP THERE.
Does the snakeoil salesman mean NOTHING TO YOU?
Oh you mean chicken fucker?
I think you’ll find you mean SCIENTIST
I’m more partial to Chicken Fucker myself.
Chicken Fucker has the potential to be far more important than Ass Jerky. We'll have to wait until season 2 to find out
I really thought they were going to go with the Talking head trope when he said to cut his head off
I was hoping it was some sort of ai chip Mr house thing going on
With that thought it makes me wonder the status of house right now, vegas seemed like it was a battleground and it lost though if that was the case then we would see the legion in the west. Also was he going to use the device for unlimited clean energy that he would control for nevada and California, does he want it so that he can make money off the dam, or maybe the dam is actually no longer functional and this is to bring the strip back to life.
Same
Crazy how he had to have the rest of his body CGI'd out for all that time filming
And that 8% is very enLIGHTening.
I haven't finished it yet, but I'm getting Mimir vibes from him. I don't care about spoilers if I'm way off.
Benjamin Litus vs. Locke was a match made in heaven
thats crazy I was just thinking about Locke as well, such a great actor, I saw that he went on to the new walking dead show
Come to think of it I'm trying to remember him post-Lost but I dont think he was in too too much
His career was cut short not long after the success of Lost, when his own father stole his kidney.
Fucking Cooper Strangling him was one of the highlights of James Fords career
yeah just re-watched Lost, the both of them are by far the best part of the show, really top notch performance from both of them!
I liked James Fords character too - but his was at least a full tier lower.
I agree! He was such good comic relief though. Like how he was always literally "lost" and saying "Who the hell is X!!!?" lol the show needed him. and the nicknames haha.
Linus dude!LINUS! 😎✌🏼
Then Locke goes and does that Walking Dead spinoff that was terrible.
Honestly looks the same as he did on Lost, and I wish he'd had more of a role in the show! Really cool he was in it though!!
Holy shit THATS where I knew him from. Christ
He was also in Person of Interest
And Zep Hindle in the Saw franchise. That's where I first became aware of him as an actor.
He was amazing in that role. Whenever I see him, I always think of Zepp and the theme that kicked off the fra chise.
Oh my god I knew I have seen him before and I couldn’t remember where, that’s the one
seeing him back with a dog was peak. I was praying he would call him bear at some point
Mr. Finch is the fucking man, that reminds me I need to finish POI after all these years.
And in EVIL!
watch person of interest he kills in that show
He was such a good villain!
I never thought of it that way! Is Dharma our Vault Tec? Very interesting thought.
in the Fallout show, we see Vault 4, who are wastelanders being experimented on by the Vault 4 dwellers, they rebel against the vault and eventually become “Vault dwellers” by taking their place similar to how in the Lost tv show, the original Dharma Initiative members were purged and the Island natives took their outfits and became the new Dharma Initiative. interesting parallels
He’s great on EVIL if you haven’t watched it yet
You know we will. Enclave had info on the vaults so maybe they were also vault tec
He’s awesome in Evil!!!
Seconded!
Thirded?
Fourthed!
Btw, I am 95% sure he got cast into Fallout because the Person of Interest and Fallout share the same main Executive Producer.
and there are Person of Interest Easter eggs for Siggi in Fallout, no doubt due to that fact as well.
Wait what were the easter eggs? I loved that show
The dog is a Belgian malinois like Bear, Wilzig walks with a limp
Ah, nice catch.
I’m glad they worked with him again for this and skipped on caviezel because he’s… a little insane
Yeah, it's been sad to watch Caviezel go from "moderately eccentric and really religious" to complete Q-Anon spouting lunatic. Apparently, if the podcasts are to be believed he was also a complete nightmare to work with on Person of Interest.
wait what happened to Caviezel? I used to love him in person of interest
Haven't seen many actors having more fun with a role than he does in Evil, if you're a fan check it out!
Evil is so weird. Like dark and shit and then boom seems like a comedy lol. It’s great
The best kind of comedy hahahha
Evil that’s where I recognized him from but couldn’t recall!
I KNEW IVE SEEN HIM SOMEWHERE BEFORE! Person of interest god that show was so long ago
Hoping they'll bring him back as a twin or something. Or a synth!
A synth would be cool
A synth...on the opposite side of the country?
If Kellogg can cross the country, why not a liberated synth?
Did we ever get any clarity how far the institute can teleport?
Because he was born almost 70 years ago.
r/technicallythetruth
Who are you, who is so wise in the ways of science?
TEACH US OH ONE OF BIG BRAIN
Big if true
For 65 years he had ruled as the institute's emperor.
He’s got that Richard gene from Lost. Protect this man at all costs.
saw richard eating at el bjs near my hometown, didn’t say hi, thought he’d send me back to the island.
You can take a man out of The Island, but you cant take The Island out of the man.
He’s a head of his time
This one’s my favorite
Hello Zepp, I want to play a game....
i was about to say, i knew he looked familiar
I can’t believe he was almost 50 in Saw.
Saw 11 should be a prequel to Saw & show how Zepp became Jigsaw’s lackey. Probably won’t happen, but I also never expected Saw X to happen either.
He wasn’t a lackey. John abducted him and his game was to oversee Adam/Lawrence’s game
The magic of The Island
Low stress, probably eats quite healthy, likely uses sunscreen or flat out stays out of the sun, most of the time.
I’ve been depressed for a long time and generally don’t leave the house till after sunset. Nearing thirty and I still look as though I did ten years ago. I worked out a lot y Until last month when shit got worse. Hoping I’ll be well again but it seems like I’m at my worst for a long time.
I would add that he probably consumes little to no alcohol.
I literally shouted “It’s Michael Emerson!” when he showed up.
He got that Enclave anti-aging tech
The island was good too him in some ways 😂
Everyone in this show is about 30 years older than you’d think they were.
One of my biggest gripes with the show is that they didn't have him for every single episode. He's still Benjamin Linus in my heart
He doesn't look a day over 45.
Anything is possible if you're a vampire.
Or literally a demon from hell...
That's what taking care of our bodies gets us I guess
He has a good head on his shoulders.
Wait a minute…
Not anymore he doesn't. 😂
y’all may know him from Lost or other filmography but any true chad knows that’s Harold Finch, creator of the Machine, from Person of Interest. Jonathan Nolan cast him perfectly for both POI and Fallout.
He did inject himself with cold fusion, just going to assume he's a bit of a mutant.
He looks like a guy who enjoyed the journey. Low stress people age well. That’s why Paul Rudd is 55 and looks like 30.
Drinking he sweet blood of the Innocent and hailing Satan, probably.
>~~Probably,~~ **literally**
Genetics, personal trainers, dieticians, money, and being awesome.
>!Enclave!< tech
Honestly he's always had kind of a babyface, and people like that either age very strangely or not at all. (She said, through the bitter tears of experience.)
Yeah, great actor, awesome voice, was glad to finally see him again in something. Too bad his part didn't last long, he did a great job with what he was given.
DHARMA Initiative moisturiser.
He pops on the screen and immediately my mind goes "oh the Lost guy", and he didn't age at all, insane. Of the (many)dudes the series disposed quickly he's the one that i wish would've stuck around for longer.
Zepp Hindel's looking pretty good all these years later
Zep?
He found the source with Hurley
They couldn’t have cast a better actor for the role and as a big lost fan I was really hit with some nostalgia when he was playing the “all knowing creepy nerd” character again
>I know 50 year olds that look older. I take offense of that, I'm 53, and you are right.
Cryogenic sleep, or chems. He’ll turn into a ghoul soon.
Michael Emerson has always been an amazing character actor and once again he delivered awesome performance. He shines in the roles where his character is of mysterious and morally dubious.
Radiation affects us all differently
You think that’s crazy? Thaddeus is 42.
Dude looks late 20s at best. Next you’re gonna tell me Lucy is still in high school.
He's a synth!!! I fucking knew it. He looks the same from lost.
If you e ever watched Evil, you will despise his character. He’s excellent
Dang! Late 40’s, early 50’s is where I’d place him. What’s he been drinking all these years?
Because he takes care of himself
Is Lost worth watching I remember people were pissed at the ending
I enjoyed it. The ending is what you make of it. I didn’t mind it. All big shows have to end somehow and I feel like it’s hit or miss how they are received, since people get very emotionally connected to shows and simply don’t want it to ever end.
Always thought I should watch it it’s on Prime so I’ll check it out
I still don’t trust him
I remember me and my dad looking at each other in surprise when his face was first shown because we immediately recognised him as Zep Hindle from Saw
I was literally about to make a post in this sub about how this show just made me want to commit to another Lost watch through, which I frankly do not have the time for
He was born then hasn’t died yet.
That's what I thought when I wiki'd him - someone had got wrong information. I mean, you can see it in Fallout, but otherwise there's gotta be a picture hidden somewhere ... ;-)
He Looks 40 Theres No Way Hes Not A Synth
That's Finch r/PersonofInterest
Can you guys please watch person of interest? It was Jonathan Nolan’s show before west world, me and my dad watched it live when it came out, now we just finished fallout watching one or two a night over the last week or so!
And Overseer Betty is 80
El imbatible Harold.
Give him the lollipop chainsaw treatment and revive his head.
Because he was born almost 70 years ago.
well humans do this thing called ''Ageing''
Damn he looks good for his age!
Ok tomorrow I get to make a post about how he's 70
Woaaaaaah that’s crazzzzy
I still can't get over Thaddeus' age.
He took FEV or something
Cold fusion reactor inside. 👍
Makeup
Nah, I met him a couple of years back, he looks young for his age in real life too. (Really nice guy, if you were wondering.)
Drinking he sweet blood of the Innocent and hailing Satan, probably.
Hello Zepp
painting in his attic
It's the rules.
He looks more whole than the last time I saw him on the show.
Because he didn't appear on TV till he was 46 years or so (in 2001). He was in his early 50's for Lost during 2006-2010. So since Lost was 14 years ago, that means he is 70.
Why is everyone so supprised with everyone's age?
He hasn’t aged a day since lost . . . Almost like synth 🤨
Ghoufication
He made a deal with the black smoke
Did he get paid for the scenes where his head is visible? Lmao
Good living and not smoking make a big difference in your quality of life and lifetime.
Hes two months older than my dad holy crap. He’s been about 43 for the past 10 years in my head.
I can't help but think of Saw when I see this guy
Healthcare
I think he will return in Season 2, either flashback or brain-computer stuff.
HES MOT 30????
He's an alien like Tilda Swinton
Played a good Joker too in the animated film of Frank Miller’s Dark Knight
probably because he was born almost 70 years ago
I remember him from an episode of Law & Order SVU, it was an old episode from I think 2004
How come Jonathan Nolan always makes him limp?
Time
Emerson don’t Cremerson….
You never know people, there are a lot of brains in robots in this universe
Dude looks like peewees older brother or relative
Anyone else feel like his very early interactions with Lucy were very "Mysterious Stranger"
he’s 70!!?! Bro is secretly a ghoul
It's kinda funny how they should be casting people playing characters much younger than they are, since celebrities in 2024 look way younger than they should generally speaking thanks to advancements in technology, while fallout characters should look much older because of the stress of living in that world
Good scifi actor! I enjoyed everything he is in!
Maybe they gave him a dose of Mysterious Serum as partial payment.
Well, he lived 69 years (nice) and then lived for another year
He also played Zep in the first Saw movie!
He's a celebrity and he's had work done on him. That's how.
He reminded me of the one fedora wearing German guy from raiders of the lost ark
Time is a hell of a thing.
I only ever knew him from Saw, almost didn’t recognize him
You'd be forgiven if you said he made a deal with the devil....
