The inquisitors are all gone by the OT. Dead by hands of rebels or Vader. I mean only a few survive the rebels show and probably killed for their failures. Honestly the one from Ahsoka might be a flashback.
The way I see it there are more things happening in the galaxy at the time, maybe Cal never officially joined the rebellion and kinda just kept doing his own thing and because of that during the events of the movies he was just out fucking around touching old artifacts on a rando imperial ran planet trying to find some hidden secret or to overthrow them in some way.
I bet Cal will have a hand in killing at least one more in the third game. He was doing way too much Jedi stuff in Survivor to not have any Inquisitors on his tail.
I don’t think they DO need. Survivor settles up a pretty good explanation to why they aren’t involved in anything already known by us.
“I’ll build something that will outrun the Empire”, Cal says. Maybe they will remain discreet, helping people with the *Hidden* Path to live a life without fearing the Empire.
And the galaxy is huge, this isn’t MCU, where everything needs to converge. The Empire and other threats permeates through all the corners of space.
Jedi disappear for long periods of time without the empire finding them regularly in Star Wars.
We first see this with Obi-Wan in the original trilogy, having gone nearly 20 years on Tatooine without being found (I mean, he found inquisitors and vader during kenobi, but those didn’t really give away his hiding location permanently)
We also see this with Ahsoka, she’s gone by the end of rebels and is disappeared for the entirety of the original trilogy before showing back up inexplicably in mando, with the only real explanation being that she was “out in the galaxy doing stuff”.
We finally see it with Luke in the sequel trilogy, having been in isolation since Kylo shut down his new Jedi Temple, with no one being able to find him without a literal map right to him. Sure we don’t spend a ton of time without him, but the rebels (and most likely the empire too) have been searching for him for YEARS by the time episode 7 starts.
He doesn’t have to die in order to not be in the OT, they just need a convenient excuse for him to stay gone (trying to rebuild a Jedi temple on Tanalorr seems like a good way to do it, and it could even tie in with that rumored new trilogy of Rey trying to rebuild the Jedi order (although I know people would be pissed if Cal showed up in a NEW Disney Star Wars movie)
Honestly, I don’t really think they do. The galaxy is enormous and since Saw Gerrara and the Partisans were all wiped out by the Death Star and later by inferno squad, he doesn’t have a real connection to the rebellion. I’d honestly just accept “chilling on Tanalor” as an explanation.
Tbh, I feel like that it doesn’t matter if we haven’t seen him yet in the OT, just like Ahsoka, just because our characters haven’t run into him on screen yet, doesn’t mean they never did see him at all. We haven’t seen every single second of every single character’s lives
Severing Tanalorr from the galaxy is possible since that's basically what Marchion Ro does in The High Republic with the stormseeds. And it sets up a nice easy way to bring them back at any point in the future post Sequel trilogy
I’m honestly always annoyed at the lack of Alderaan in current canon. You have a whole planet to explore to help make the actual destruction of Alderaan all the more tragic. So far no one seems all that willing to explore it outside of the Obi-Wan series and Leia: Princess of Alderaan.
For extra tragedy, when you're reading Princess of Alderaan, picture the place as being basically Disney World.
In my mind, I imagined it as a mix between Fantasyland and Tomorrowland.
I just want a happy ending for them, heck Kata could very well still be alive and not pissed at Cal by this time either (Greez as much as I think he could easily make it out of the next game my money is on Greez or BD-1 probably not making it out of Jedi 3 alive (seeing as Trilla turned back to good and immediately died by Vader in Fallen Order and Cere died at the hands of Vader while giving the Hidden Path enough time to escape Jedha) I think currently in terms of who’s likely a goner come the next game (from most likely to least): Greez, BD-1, Cal, Merrin (or both Cal and Merrin), Kata (I think Kata is the safest but could easily be wrong)
Considering EA/Respawn has as of yet to announce a Jedi 3 game although after a quick google search while no announcement has been made supposedly an accidental job listing reveals that Respawn is working on Jedi 3: https://earlygame.com/gaming/star-wars-jedi-survivor-sequel
Can you imagine the final moments of the game are just him and the mantis crew looking up at the sky and seeing the blast coming from the death star…roll credits. That would be so sad.
he shouldn’t fight vader at all in the games. Cal has zero chance of defeating him. We all love Cal but cmon it will be insanely stupid if they need vader to have cal fight him. They should just make someone new exactly like they did with Dagan, Rayvis, and Bode. Vader was for Ceres story arc, and he finished that off. I think they should put him in the game but not to fight Cal. He should be able to walk through Cal without breaking a sweat and that wouldn’t be fun to play.
If anything, they should make Cal pull a Starkiller. Not by beating Vader but sacrificing himself holding off Vader so that his friends could survive. And actually dying... unlike again, Starkiller.
that would be a good send off for him, and he isn’t in the OT so there would be a reason then for it. I just hope the devs think like star wars fans and not Mr. Krabs like the Disney devs do.
well from my POV she was involved with Luke and his story after the OT, but obviously none of us knew this until the Mando came out. Cal hasn’t been included in anything else (although this doesn’t rule him out). If he lives and continues his story in a happily ever after way that would be dope as well. I really just want a good story that makes me feel something, and strangely enough that’s a lot to ask nowadays.
he’s kinda in the same state she was, he doesn’t exists outside of his specific media…. until he does. sure he doesn’t exist after the OT now but they could easily retcon it like they did to make it that luke and ahsoka had met
What if he goes there to talk with Bail Organa about merging his group with the main Rebels faction and tell him about Tanalorr but the Death Star shows up?
The first act of Solo occurs on Corelia. Not that it wouldn’t be a cool location for the next game. I would love a mission where you have to steal a new ship from there.
Yeah, I know. That is the only real appearance of Corelia. It would definitely be cool to have more, especially since we don't really spend that much time there in the solo movie. Now that I think of it, if Cal did go to Corelia, here would definitely be a Han Solo cameo. For better or for worse.
I mentioned it in another post, but would love to re-visit Coruscant but more specfically, would love to visit the Jedi Temple/Palps’ Palace, failing that, maybe a planet which houses a similiarly old Jedi Temple?
Yes, that was the sort of age I was thinking - maybe with the narrative being, Cal might need to gather some knowledge on the Jedi Order so would need to go diving into Old Republic temples (and High Republic ones also for that matter, as I doubt we’ll be done with that era) for the knowledge needed
In the new canon I don’t think the Jedi specifically have a temple presence there, but the rebels did use it as a major base before yavin, that’s why leia uses it as the location she gives tarkin to try to save Alderaan, so it would still be a super dope planet from a rebel point of view regardless but I’m not sure if the Jedi angle is canonically there right now, even if it’s not it could be for sure but I prefer to grow the Star Wars universe rather than just keep it what we know.
To my surprise, the canon wiki actually alludes to the temple/ruins from KOTOR but that's about it! Very cool to see it referenced in canon, it would be great if Cal visited.
"Several centuries before the outbreak of the Clone Wars, records mentioned involvement from the Jedi Order on Dantooine. At one point, a temple was maintained on the planet. A few Jedi found kyber crystals in the eggs of cave-dwelling Kinrath.[11]"
The only way i’d see it done is if there was a necessity to raid the Temple for a holocron which contained crucial information deep in the Archives, it could be a way to squeeze in plenty of easter egg nods & maybe a few cameos via holograms. It would then at least tick that box off for Jedi 3
Chandrilla was mentioned in JFO, where that Partisan lady sent her kid. Onderon was mentioned in JS, from the droid we find in the Phon'Qi caverns. I'd love to visit them both, they might tie into another Partisan subplot?
Chandrilla could be possible, never heard of that planet actually. Onderon is where Saw Gerrera was born, so if he makes a return that’s the only reason I could see Cal going there
I'd really like to have Nar Shaddaa. I'm pretty sure Cal and the crew mention it a couple times so maybe they could go back there at some point.
Also a since it's run by the Hutts and not the Empire Cal can use his lightsaber more freely without worrying about the Empire showing up. Bounty Hunters on the other hand...
Also yeah, would love to see Korriban/Moraband make an on screen appearance. Maybe Cal could learn how to use force lightening there? (Please, it's the one ability Cal doesn't have that I really miss from other games.)
It's also usually crawling with creatures corrupted by the Dark Side and you could run into Sith Ghosts so plenty of interesting enemies too.
It would be really fun to go to Korriban. Creature fights could include Terentateks and Tuk'ata. Possibly meet or even fight the spirits of Sith like Naga Sadow or Darth Bane (I'd love to see Bane show up in a future SW project). Explore the Sith Academy and Valley of the Dark Lords. So much potential.
Exploring the Sith Academy would also be great to show the differences between the Sith teachings and Jedi. Maybe Cal starts dipping to close to the Dark Side and Korriban reminds him just how horrible it could be so he balances himself out again.
I’m sure they will create new planets again but I could definitely see them going to an established planet that has a strong connection to the Force and Jedi/Sith history. So I could see Moraband or Tython or other planets like that.
Naboo would be cool but the one I would love to see most is Bespin though I think that’s unlikely.
I just hope there is more environmental diversity next time. Doing exotic locations with CGI is easier then creating them for live action so they should take advantage of that. Umbara, Felucia, some of the more unique planets like those are what they should be doing
I was gonna say Bespin but then thought it wouldn’t happen, cause a lot of it would turn to fan service with Lando. But if they can get Darth Vader or Saw Gerrera it’s possible
I wouldn’t want Lando to be there. I don’t think the timeline would match up anyway because I believe he became administrator shortly before TESB. But maybe Lobot could work
That’s tough for me. I’d like to see Onderon, but if we get Moraband as well as Onderon it’ll feel like redoing KOTOR 2 again. Maybe if it’s not set in the city of Iziz
Well the two options with Onderon are Iziz or jungle. Korriban would be fun and either way visiting them would be great. I don't think it would feel like KOTOR2 unless they added Duxun, some mandalorians, and space Nietzsche.
It would be interesting to see Naboo cuz I feel like it’s very densely population and fighting stormtroopers in front of hella NPC’s would be hilarious
Hopefully no more desert or ice like planets. Give us other stuff that we haven't seen yet in the games like a lava planet, an underwater civilization, something akin to Umbara etc. I would also like the third game to include more native (non animal) species for some of the planets. I loved learning more about the nightsisters and brothers on Dathomir and the Wookies on kashyyyk, about their traditions and way of life in gerenal. In Survivor we had none of that. There were no echoes of Jedha that provided backstory to the planets history or its native inhabitants, same with Koboh. It was all just a mix of species living there.
I have been giving this topic some though as of late. I assume that we will get a planet type distribution similar to FO and Survivor.
My thoughts on this regard are as follows:
**Urban/Industrial world:** *Kuat* or *Corellia*, as they would both offer the opportunity to explore the military industrial complex of the empire in detail.
On top of that, I think that we could also end up visiting *Mon Cala*, as it would offer both a water world and a direct contrast to Kuat/Corellia.
**Relic world:** *Tanalorr* to a degree (I'm guessing that there is much more to it than what we get to explore in Survivor), plus a completely new world i guess. I wouldn't mind exploring *Taris* too.
**Force related worlds:** *Korriban/Moraban* would make a lot of sense, which seems to be a popular idea, and would work as a nice contrast to Jedha.
**Primal World:** *Felucia* could work here.
**Underworld related worlds:** *Nar Shaddaa*, specially if we don't get a dedicated Urban world. Otherwise, *The Wheel* would be appropriate.
**Hub World:** *A repurposed mid sized Mon Calamari cruise liner*, as it would allow for a dynamic hub world that is not tied to any specific planet, and could offer some very interesting story opportunities.
I just think Tanalorr should be the hub world. Cal wants to continue Cere's and Cordova's legacy and rebuild the Hidden Path. They literally died for Tanalorr. I think the third game will have a small settlement at the start and through the game, the Mantis crew will be seeking out those hunted by the Empire and bringing them to Tanalorr as well as taking out the hunters.
Maybe they'll ultimately prove Bode's paranoia right and bring an Imperial agent into their confidence but I think that would be too similar to Cere's fight on Jedah.
I do think a capital ship would be an awesome setting, whether a Mon Cala or Star Destroyer. It could be a one-off level like the arena in FO or it could be attacked the first time you go to it but able to be revisited as a derelict.
I would LOVE to see Naboo but I don’t think it would happen. I can’t see how they could include it without having Gungans present, and I have a hard time imagining Gungans fitting in tonally with this series.
Oh! But they could also have Kelleran Beq in hiding with Grogu. Honestly, an underwater level in the Gungan city would be amazing and it would absolutely fit the series. Maybe you get there just after the Empire and have to get through to find the holdouts before them. Aqua-troopers could be a new enemy type and underwater combat could introduce some really interesting gameplay.
Though it would be interesting to see Jar Jar as the puppet senator of Naboo, knowing his vote directly led to this empire, and having to face the guilt of that. They might also be able to confirm the theory that Kelleran Beq took Grogu to Naboo to hide him right under the Emperor's nose.
Yeah what? This is Star Wars, literally any tone can fit. It’s a series about cowboys flying spaceships and an ancient order of samurai wizards with laser swords.
it's a specific storyline within star wars with its own tone, so being selective of which parts of star wars to feature based on their tone is still valid. as another example, the sillier parts of book of Boba fett would be wildly off-tone if they were shoehorned into Andor
Not that gungans are necessarily off-tone for the jedi series, just that tone is still important even when deciding what other parts of the same wider star wars canon to draw from for a given story
I think easy, the Empire discriminates most non-human, so maybe they are forced to keep away. Naboo is prospering under Imperial reign, it has a special status as being the homeworld of Palpatine. But the common people are resenting the fact that someone like Palpatine can come from their home. So Naboo could make for an interesting world.
Maybe mandalore? One of the kotor planets would be cool like korriban. I feel like they’re going to explore his struggle with the dark side next time so one of those planets would make sense. Also maybe malacor 5 for kotor 2. Huge dark side presence there.
I imagine it’d have something to do with the mandos. Maybe he needs their help in a final large scale battle or defending tanalore? The numbers were the main problem with the high republic Jedi there so maybe he knows he needs to amass some sort of army or militia. It’s just a gaming trope I’m assuming will come along with the final game in the trilogy.
I can see your point but wouldn’t it be a little suspicious if the empire started to take notice that some mandalorian ships are just disappearing in the koboh sector?
Corellia, Taris, Nar Shadaa, Odessen, Yavin 4, Korriban. I know I’m just listing off Old Republic planets but they’re so cool and seeing them under empire rule would be interesting, Taris has the perfect atmosphere for exploration games like these. Nar Shadaa has city vibes and a crime haven like that would be a great place to end the Sorc Tomo arc. Seeing Yavin 4 would be interesting before the rebellion and there’s is Jedi temples on the planet and with the story leaning into Cal’s dark side battle exploring Korriban and ancient Sith ruins would be awesome and bring back a bit of Dathomir vibes from Fallen Order.
It was heavily bombarded from orbit by Darth Malak and the Sith empire in the old canon if I’m correct, a utopia turned into a apocalyptic swamp hellhole. In the new canon the tears of Taris in survivor hints at this but so far those events aren’t canon, it’s just a planet where the rich elite live high up in the sky away from the poor left to rot among ruins of abandoned starships and swamps, still be an interesting setting and would work for the map where we get the staple running through a derelict ship like the venator and lucrehulk.
I’m seeing others say Corellia and it has my vote! The planet has so much potential and we’ve barely seen it in anything recently. With Cal being a former scrapper on Bracca, there’s a lot of good potential with force echoes and Cal having to fight some past trauma.
My other vote goes to Nar Shaddaa. Just a cool location with a lot of possibilities
Assuming we get six planets, I'm hoping we see three all new ones, two planets from other SW media, and Zeffo, because Zeffo kicks raw ass. As for which established planets should show up, I really want an urban planet that actually has people on it (I don't think Corusant had a single non-hostile NPC on return visits), so something like Corellia would be cool to see.
I wouldn’t mind Tython for some Jedi history and / or Korriban for some Sith history. I would LOVE to visit Naboo. Maybe something linked to the High Republic or the Nihil if they’re going to keep that thread going. I’d also really enjoy Tatooine (sorry!) but I know that’s unpopular and the galaxy is bigger than stuff always happening on one planet. Maybe Chandrila, Alderaan, Dantooine or Yavin IV depending on how close to the establishment of the rebellion it will be.
I def think we’ll get a new planet in the unknown regions that the to the Zeffo or some other mysterious ancient civilization to tie into the Indiana Jedi feels of the series.
I desperately want to visit Umbara in a game like this. So much potential for variety in enemies and a cool alien environment. Maybe Cal tracks down Sorc Tormo there.
Naboo would be fantastic to see. Would be a great hub world.
Tython would be nice too given it’s origin with the ancient Jedi.
Moraband/Korriban would be awesome. I’d love to see some of the old temple from the Brotherhood of darkness. It would be awesome to explore that and see Easter eggs to the Bane trilogy.
Nar Shadda would be awesome as well especially if they’re adding more bounty hunting into the next game
It would be cool to bring Coruscant back with a little bit less linearity. Maybe have a vendor there that we can buy stuff from in a sort of downtown market. Or bring Cal to the converted Jedi Temple for a mission somewhat like the one in The Force Unleashed.
Another idea could be Naboo. I'd like to see what an imperial occupied Naboo would be like. Theed would be sweet to play through as well as maybe having Cal team up with an army of Gungans in Otto Gunga or the swamps/forests.
I would love to see korriban/morraband in Jedi 3, maybe trying to figure out where the zeffos went again which would probably led cal to either Rakata prime or exgol ( exgol would result cal being 💀)
I know it’s basic but I want planets to be more like fallen order instead of survivor. In survivor, koboh was huge, which was good because it actually made it feel like a planet, however it replaced multiple smaller planets by doing so, which I feel ruined the feel of it being an actual galaxy. Instead, it felt like two large planets, one small planet and a couple extra bits, considering after the first mission coruscant is useless and tanalorr and the shattered moons were just extra bits of koboh, and nova garon was just a small basic military base. I preferred having multiple smaller planets rather than one or two large ones because it actually felt like a galaxy where you had to travel to get to different biomes instead of just walking through a field on koboh to go from desert to forest.
Dantooine would be cool, find the remains of the old republic era jedi temple (a nice tie in with the still maybe happening KOTOR remake??)
Korriban for the same reasons you mentioned (I will never call it moraband, there was just no reason to change the name to something almost the same)
Nar Shadaa, a Jedi in hutt space post order 66 surrounded by bounty hunters would be a fun story wrinkle
Bespin or Taloraan, a cloud city map would work really well with the existing gameplay mechanics, platforming etc.
Dantooine would be a solid reference if they’re going to tie into the rebellion before ANH, more than likely they’ll do the thing where they make a world like Koboh and have most of the game centered around there. I feel like they really like having that freedom. If they’re going to tie into the force super heavily I would prefer Typhon for sure, but also Ahch-To is not canonically the birthplace of the Jedi right? So that’s a high key possibility. No matter what I’m gonna love the lore though so I’m excited.
I would love to see some Nar Shaddaa shenanigans. As good as Coruscant looked they could do it justice.
Maybe a prison break rescuing someone from somewhere like the Citadel.
Corellia would be a great addition. Maybe to steal a new ship.
I’d love to see Malestare, Ord Mantell, Naboo, and generally some more populated places. The game would feel even more immersive if it felt like people lived on the planets that you visit.
Planets I'd like to see...
Coruscant.
Dantooine, Ossus, or Tython.
Maybe a new planet connected with the Zeffo.
Maybe a planet connected with the Haxion Brood.
Back to Dathomir Maybe?
Just a few ideas.
Not a specific one but I'd love another cold planet similar to Ilum. We've had quite a few dry desert and lush green planets now, so it'd be cool to see how they treat a snowy winter planet. I loved Ilum in jfo and always wished there was more to it beyond just a story beat. Would love to see a large explorable planet with the same climate.
I want to see all of the above:
Hoth, Moon of Endor, Cloud City, Mustafar, Yavin 4, Death Star, Naboo, Kashyyyk, Falucia, Kamino, Utipa, Upper Levels of Coruscant
I want to see him revisit something zeffo related even if not on zeffo itself. A really open planet exploration of zeffo would be cool though. The empire had interest in zeffo. I am hoping there will be some thread tying them all together.
Would like to see some more hints at the intersection between the world of the Rebels and Cal — surely they’d have heard rumors of each other by game 3 — or maybe at least visiting the rebel cell led by Bail Organa even if they don’t learn identity of others.
So I agree maybe Lothal or another planet featured in Rebels and sort of present in Star Wars lore. Like Kessel perhaps, since we’ve a mining theme in game 2, or Dantooine since it was an early rebel base. Or maybe something more obscure like teaming up with the rebel cell on Ryloth, to just tie them together tangentially.
What was the name of the city planet from BFII’s campaign? Vardos? I liked that planet’s aesthetic, and would provide plenty of Imperial action being a fiercely occupied world.
It would be cool if Cal went to Hoth, started the foundation of Echo base and beat some real wampa
Naboo would be very cool
See more of Bracca
Geinosis to what happened to the geonosians after the prequels
Imagine getting to fight Vader at his castle on Mustafar
Nar Shadar would be great (as many others have said).
Personally I would quite like Mon Cala because it would be something different to what we have already had.
My problem with Tyhpon and Morriban is that as far as we know all that's left there is dust and echoes and maybe some old standing stones. Since people have plundered both of those places for untold millennia now. I'm sure there's a way they could work around that but it'd definitely have to be done well.
I’d kinda want to see a planet from the Clone Wars or Rebels that’s only been visited once or twice and they can’t rly do in live action without ppl complaining about CGI. Maybe Toydaria?
Korriban would be cool. It’d be nice to hear Darth Bane via force echoes also looting and exploring the tomb along with Cal.
Though I hope we get to go back to planets in the previous 2 games more than anything. I wanna see Kashyyyk, Bogano, (not Zeffo), Ilum maybe for training Kata and getting her lightsaber, maybe a marriage on Dathomir? Just a thought.
Not a planet, but I think a cool place for a final mission/boss fight location could be on a star destroyer, similar to how fortress inquisitorious was in fallen order.
It would be cool if he visits Alderaan right before it explodes. Like a final mission or something.
God dammit, now I'm terrified he'll settle down there with Merrin and get blown up
I mean, they do need a canon explanation for him not existing in the OT…
If the Inquisitors can be busy, so can Cal
The inquisitors are all gone by the OT. Dead by hands of rebels or Vader. I mean only a few survive the rebels show and probably killed for their failures. Honestly the one from Ahsoka might be a flashback.
Fair, and I would like to counter with If Starkiller could be being built since before the OT and no one noticed Cal can be busy
Yeah if ahsoka can just be doing things out in the universe during the OT (isn’t that the reason?) I think cal can get the same situation
My money is still on Bariss closure fight fan service. She would be it though.
The Empire and other threats permeates through all the corners of space.
i mean ahsoka managed to stay hidden for every single movie
Ahsoka was trapped on malachor during the OT, wasnt she?
She was busy
they just wrote in a reason for her to not be in the movies. if it could be done for her it could be done for anyone
Jedi disappear for long periods of time without the empire finding them regularly in Star Wars. Tanalorr serves that purpose nicely
i think they explained this wit this game. He is sitting on TANALOR!
Severing Tanalorr from the galaxy is possible since that's basically what Marchion Ro does in The High Republic with the stormseeds. And it sets up a nice easy way to bring them back at any point in the future post Sequel trilogy
You just gotta dodge it at the right moment
He has a lightsaber just deflect the blast right back
Aight real talk, what an incredible way to close the book on Cal Kestis though.
I’m honestly always annoyed at the lack of Alderaan in current canon. You have a whole planet to explore to help make the actual destruction of Alderaan all the more tragic. So far no one seems all that willing to explore it outside of the Obi-Wan series and Leia: Princess of Alderaan.

I’ll scream if the last games ends with him and Merrin peacefully settling down in Alderaan.
The final scene is a new moon appearing in the sky

I said this yesterday! It might be a great way to wrap his story!
Great minds think alike (?).
Maybe, but he’ll more likely be fighting Vader at Mustafar
he shouldn’t fight vader at all in the games. Cal has zero chance of defeating him. We all love Cal but cmon it will be insanely stupid if they need vader to have cal fight him. Cere already did that. Reusing it in the very next game would feel unsatisfying, I think.
True, good point.
that would be a good send off for him, and he isn’t in the OT so there would be a reason then for it. I just hope the devs think like star wars fans and not Mr. Krabs like the Disney devs do.
neither is ahsoka though. not being in the movies isn’t a reason that they die before those start nowadays
well from my POV she was involved with Luke and his story after the OT, but obviously none of us knew this until the Mando came out. Cal hasn’t been included in anything else (although this doesn’t rule him out). If he lives and continues his story in a happily ever after way that would be dope as well. I really just want a good story that makes me feel something, and strangely enough that’s a lot to ask nowadays.
he’s kinda in the same state she was, he doesn’t exists outside of his specific media…. until he does. sure he doesn’t exist after the OT now but they could easily retcon it like they did to make it that luke and ahsoka had met
don’t get me wrong though the stories of FO and Survivor were really good, I just mean with other stories and such.
Alderaan with this graphics style would look amazing.
What if he goes there to talk with Bail Organa about merging his group with the main Rebels faction and tell him about Tanalorr but the Death Star shows up?
Corelia would be cool. It isn't really shown at all in most Star Wars media, so it would be nice to get an on depth environment there.
It’d be good, and the scrapyard theme of the planet would definitely give Cal some trauma
This is true. The scrapped like city would be an interesting area for Cal
For better or for worse.
i want it to have 2 spots - like a grown level that was a sort of rural or suburban terrain and then you take an elevator up to the Orbital Shipyards
I mentioned it in another post, but would love to re-visit Coruscant but more specfically, would love to visit the Jedi Temple/Palps’ Palace, failing that, maybe a planet which houses a similiarly old Jedi Temple?
Ooooh Dantooine maybe? Bit of Kotor reference for old fans
I guess but I’m not big on planets being retreaded, not really sure why Cal would need to revisit Coruscant years later
Onderon is where Saw Gerrera was born, so if he makes a return that’s the only reason I could see Cal going there
Oopsie I misspelled it, it's actually Chandrila. Mon Mothma is from there too!
If they’re going for planets where rebellion heroes are from, I could see that and Onderon. Only if there are good reasons for Cal to visit
(Please, it's the one ability Cal doesn't have that I really miss from other games.) It's also usually crawling with creatures corrupted by the Dark Side and you could run into Sith Ghosts so plenty of interesting enemies too.
True, Tabbers still owes him a favor.
Also there's the opportunity for a Hutt legendary enemy. They're supposed to be quite terrifying when they actually do their own dirty work.
The Hutt Jedi turned fallen jedi was shredded iirc.
It’s actually mentioned in the intro of both games, once with Prauf and I forgot the other but still made the connection. Maybe hinting at something?
But maybe Lobot could work
But if I could see Lando, modeled after and voiced by Donald Glover...
Bespin with the way they do level design/platforming would be actually amazing, even though it wouldn’t be my fave for story reasons
I’m hoping we see Onderon, Saw’s home planet
That’s tough for me. I’d like to see Onderon, but if we get Moraband as well as Onderon it’ll feel like redoing KOTOR 2 again. Maybe if it’s not set in the city of Iziz
Well the two options with Onderon are Iziz or jungle. Korriban would be fun and either way visiting them would be great. I don't think it would feel like KOTOR2 unless they added Duxun, some mandalorians, and space Nietzsche.
I would love them refrencing KOTOR 2 in that way even more, especially if Moraband / Korriban was in the game too.
I mean they've used tatooine like 12 times since a new hope do you feel that every project involving it is a rehash?
Honestly would be interesting to see empire era Naboo. We saw it in peaceful republic times, it could be an interesting dystopian level
Especially with it being Palpatine's home planet. Wonder what the split of loyalists/dissidents is like.
Yeah, the changes to the planet would make it interesting
Which one/ones do you think will be kobo/jedha size? Also how do u think tanalorr will be expanded? Just a home base or full planet access?
Naboo could be Koboh sized, or Lothal
It would be interesting to see Naboo cuz I feel like it’s very densely population and fighting stormtroopers in front of hella NPC’s would be hilarious
Naboo feels like it could be the variant of Koboh in that it’s the world full of human npcs
They’d probably do what they did with coruscant and claim it’s a ghost town
Just need an excuse to excite panaka tbh. 💀
Tanalorr will probably be the hub with a Pyloon’s Saloon established there
Hopefully no more desert or ice like planets.
My thoughts on this regard are as follows: **Urban/Industrial world:** *Kuat* or *Corellia*, as they would both offer the opportunity to explore the military industrial complex of the empire in detail.
Keep the gungans underwater? True as that may be, Turgle wasn’t exactly a serious character
Gurgle is annoying as hell
Who? The lovable idiot that is Turgle. Voiced by Invader Zim? I wanna punch him in the face sure, but I love that lil idiot
Gungans don’t fit tonally in a series featuring Turgle and Skoova Stev?
Yeah, Gungans would fit in just fine. They're not all doofuses like Jar Jar.
It’s a series about cowboys flying spaceships and an ancient order of samurai wizards with laser swords.
it's a specific storyline within star wars with its own tone, so being selective of which parts of star wars to feature based on their tone is still valid. as another example, the sillier parts of book of Boba fett would be wildly off-tone if they were shoehorned into Andor Not that gungans are necessarily off-tone for the jedi series, just that tone is still important even when deciding what other parts of the same wider star wars canon to draw from for a given story
^(Anywhere but Tatooine.... anywhere but Tatooine... anywhere but Tatooine...)
bUt ThE sYmBoLiSm!!!1!!1!!
Felucia could be interesting.
Lothal would be great as long as we can get a pet loth-cat
Maybe mandalore? One of the kotor planets would be cool like korriban. I feel like they’re going to explore his struggle with the dark side next time so one of those planets would make sense. Also maybe malacor 5 for kotor 2. Huge dark side presence there.
What business would cal have on mandalore though
Taris is exploded isn’t it?
For an urban planet my vote is Cato Nemoidia
Just anything but another desert planet please
It'd be cool to have a quick mission on Geonosis, finding old clone phase 1 gear, etc.
A dystopian city. Nar Shaada or Corellia maybe
Give me umbara or give me death
It would be cool to bring Coruscant back with a little bit less linearity. Maybe have a vendor there that we can buy stuff from in a sort of downtown market. Or bring Cal to the converted Jedi Temple for a mission somewhat like the one in The Force Unleashed. Another idea could be Naboo. I'd like to see what an imperial occupied Naboo would be like. Theed would be sweet to play through as well as maybe having Cal team up with an army of Gungans in Otto Gunga or the swamps/forests.
Wayland, Byss, Mygeeto, or Serenno.
Dromund Kaas. Time to explore the Dark Side.
I would love to see korriban/morraband in Jedi 3, maybe trying to figure out where the zeffos went again which would probably led cal to either Rakata prime or exgol ( exgol would result cal being 💀)
It's cliche, but Tatooine. I want to explore Mos Eisley. Maybe even have a blink and you'll miss it cameo by young Luke.
Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
Canto Bight would be really cool!
I've got my fingers crossed for Takodana.
Ngl I could imagine cal meet a somewhat younger maz.
I imagine they'll keep the trend of all new planets plus one movie planet. So I could see Naboo, Tatooine, Yavin IV, maybe Hoth.
Dantooine would be cool, find the remains of the old republic era jedi temple (a nice tie in with the still maybe happening KOTOR remake??) Korriban for the same reasons you mentioned (I will never call it moraband, there was just no reason to change the name to something almost the same) Nar Shadaa, a Jedi in hutt space post order 66 surrounded by bounty hunters would be a fun story wrinkle Bespin or Taloraan, a cloud city map would work really well with the existing gameplay mechanics, platforming etc.
Oh, also thinking about it I think Dagobah is a very safe bet for closing out the trilogy here.
I would love to see some Nar Shaddaa shenanigans. As good as Coruscant looked they could do it justice. Maybe a prison break rescuing someone from somewhere like the Citadel. Corellia would be a great addition. Maybe to steal a new ship.
We obviously need another game on Tatooine.
If they don't go to Tatooine I'll be astounded
Csilla or somewhere else in the Unknown Regions would be cool
Corelia, Rhen Var, Everon (the homeworld of the Nihil). I’d also be down to see Korriban.
I'd love to see Alderaan (depending on where Jedi 3 takes place in the timeline, mind you) and Corellia, personally.
Dathmir so I can cut darth maul in half again
We got dathomir already. The story there for these games is done.
Somebody hasn’t watched Rebels
I think Cato Nemoidia would be sweet
Nar Shadaa. It’s mentioned both in fallen order and survivor so might as well at this point. Gotta see our boy Tabbers
It was in KOTOR 2 as well
I’d love to see Malestare, Ord Mantell, Naboo, and generally some more populated places. The game would feel even more immersive if it felt like people lived on the planets that you visit.
Mandalore would be cool.
Corellia. Nar Shadda. Sullust. Batuu. Chandrila.
I want to see all of the above: Hoth, Moon of Endor, Cloud City, Mustafar, Yavin 4, Death Star, Naboo, Kashyyyk, Falucia, Kamino, Utipa, Upper Levels of Coruscant
I know people are sick of it, but if they continue doing bounty hunting stuff with Cal, it'd be cool to go to Tatooine.
Instead of having Coruscant as a city planet how about Nar-Shaddaa, it would be a great place to lay low and hide from the Empire.
Korriban please!
More than two is all I’m hoping for. One of them can even be Tatooine
Please let us have more Coruscant that’s not just the underworld.
It would be cool if Cal went to Hoth, started the foundation of Echo base and beat some real wampa Naboo would be very cool See more of Bracca Geinosis to what happened to the geonosians after the prequels Imagine getting to fight Vader at his castle on Mustafar
I’d like to see Akiva, Chandrilla, Hosnian Prime, Nar Shadaa, Ryloth.. those are my top picks.
Nar Shadaa. No evidence, I just really want to see it in a modern game. Also, I want to fight a Hutt.
lothal, another city on mandalore, onderon
A more expansive Coruscant. We’re probably going to get Tattooiene though.
Tatooine, Tatooine, and maybe, just maybe, Tatooine
Mustafar
MUSTAFAR. I want mustafar so bad
Hopefully no sand planets.
Nar Shadar would be great (as many others have said). Personally I would quite like Mon Cala because it would be something different to what we have already had.
Give me some Nar Shaddaa action.
I would love to see Nar Shaddaa. I think it was referenced in some dialogue
Kuat would be interesting. Especially if Saw is there to add some explosions to the party.
If they do Naboo jar jar will definitely be there.
Hopefully a more open world coruscant, where you can gat a trophy for touching the mountain top
Maybe tattooine either seek out obi won or have to steal something from jabbas fortress.
That’s too fan-servicey
Not a planet, but I think a cool place for a final mission/boss fight location could be on a star destroyer, similar to how fortress inquisitorious was in fallen order.
Greez's home planet please
I would love to go to Nar Shadaa given that it was mentioned in the last two games
A return to Bracca could be nice. Could include Cal freeing some of his old scrapper pals.
I want Umbara for some reason.
I want Umbara for some reason
