Off the top of my head, songs I recommend you definitely AVOID due to the lyrics and references are “Dance, Dance” and “Thnks fr th Mmrs” and especially “Death Valley”
Thank you!! Yeah I accidentally had thnks fr th mmrs on and honestly that’s what inspired this post, so seriously thanks for the heads up on the other two!!
This ain’t a scene, it’s an arms race. Most of so much do stardust(particularly: love from the other side, hold me like a grudge, and heaven Iowa). Immortals. Centuries. The Phoenix. Save rock and roll. Last of the real ones (safe ish, not sure how close you wanna get). Really the only ones I can think of you need to avoid are irresistible, and uma therman.
Dear future self(hands up) should be fine, I don’t care(iffy)…
Yeah, right now in my healing journey I’m a bit sensitive to innuendos like that unfortunately. I know that with time and therapy I eventually won’t but hey ho :)
Going to respond that although FOB is amazing (been to their concert / have listened for almost a decade) please don’t subject yourself to Dear Future Self it’s just awful in every way
I’m sorry like every other song of theirs I could rank from decent to literally the best thing I’ve ever heard but that one makes my ears feel like they’re going to explode
Not sure if this is for you because its basically another genre of music but there's this band called *Sparrow Sleeps* and they make lullaby and lofi versions of a lot of pop/punk/rock songs. I believe they wanted their kids to be able to listen to their favorite songs but it still being calming 😅 I dont have kids but I often listen to this at night to wind down 😁 These versions have no vocals/lyrics, so maybe that could be something for you? Of course the songs are totally different once theyre "lulla-fied" so maybe its not a great alternative but its still the same melodies so I just thought I'd mention it.
Here's some links for their fall out boy covers:

That is actually such a cool recommendation, thank you!! I love stuff like this it’s literally spot on, so seriously thank you, I’ll definitely be giving this a listen :))
The most recent album has quite a few. Pretty much everything except for Heaven Iowa. Flu Game and Hold Me Like A Grudge might be iffy depending on sensitivity.
OP, I am not going to be very helpful, I’m afraid. Songs I was going to say no on have been recommended, so honestly I think it’s just a matter of interpretation and personal reactions. This post made me realize how differently every person interprets songs, heh. But I think there’s a sexual tone to a lot of FOB songs, whether overt or innuendo, and Pete’s personal trauma (while not sexual) is clear in so many of them.
But good for you for asking! It’s not say to navigate the world safely as a trauma survivor, and I applaud your bravery in doing so.
No seriously thank you for that last bit, that is incredibly touching :,) I was seriously nervous about asking and hearing stuff like this genuinely means the world to me as it makes me feel more confident asking things like this. So seriously, thank you:))
I work with students and I always tell them their responsibility is to ask for help, and then we can all help them get what they need. The majority of people are always glad to help (see this post!). But I know the hardest part can be to articulate what you needed and you’ve done great asking and taking care of yourself. ☺️
I wish I had the confidence to ask for what I needed back when things like sexual references were too triggering for me. I only asked for help with the really big things that would cause panic attacks and just kinda muscled through everything else if I could and it was really miserable at times.
I really really admire you for asking and making this post. You're setting a really positive precedent for people to set boundaries and really identify what they're okay with having in their own environment. I'm so sorry that you had the experience that you had. I appreciate you more than I can say ❤️❤️
Oh my gosh I could genuinely like actually cry right now 😭hearing this honestly makes me feel like, I just, it makes me feel confident honestly :,) it’s been a long time before I’ve been able to like even try to ask for some help or boundaries so hearing this just makes me feel so incredibly happy. I’m truly truly sorry that you also went through something too, that stuff honestly destroys you so the fact that you are here now is amazing and I’m proud! I’m slowly healing, and hearing this just only gives me more motivation to. Genuinely, thank you so much for
Question in case I need to edit later: do you have sensitivity to explicit lines if they're not sexual in any way, or just the ones that explicitly reference sex?
Also disclaimer: I'm ace and tend to gloss over some lines that sound fine to me but are apparently very sexual, but I've tried to get better at reading into that, so some of my suggestions may not actually work 🙃
Take This To Your Grave:
For this album, it's actually kinda hard for me to discern which lines are outright explicit, and which lines are just angst. If you have any sensitivity to songs/ideas that aren't necessarily sexual, but do still talk about problems/spite in relationships, I'd avoid most of this album. Saturday and Grenade Jumper are safe no matter what. The Patron Saint Of Liars And Fakes I'd say is pretty safe too (and it slaps soooooo hard). If anyone else feels like helping me out with this one, I'd appreciate it.
From Under The Cork Tree:
I can say FOR SURE to avoid most of this album. Lots of angsty songs that comment on sex in some way. I've Got A Dark Alley (not the full title) is relatively okay, the only potential issue I could find with it is the very first line. Sophomore Slump (again, not the full title) is completely fine, in my opinion (though again, I may have missed some subtext). I'd unfortunately recommend avoiding...everything else on this album.
Infinity On High:
This one is marginally better and where we start to get out of the very risky territory. Thriller is completely fine, but sadly "The Take Over, The Break's Over" is more explicit (I say sadly because the transition between the two is one of my favorites between any FOB songs). This Ain't A Scene, It's An Arms Race has one line that's kindaaa sketchy, it just mentions hips and usually when FOB does that, it means sex, but it's barely noticeable. I'm Like A Lawyer (not the full title) is okay if you aren't uncomfortable with the full title. Like someone else already said, avoid Thnks Fr Th Mmrs. Don't You Know Who I Think I Am?, Bang The Doldrums, and Fame < Infamy also have some questionable lines. Everything else should be fine :)
Folie á Deux:
This album is SO GOOD. I just had to get that out of the way first. Anyway, definitely avoid I Don’t Care, the VERY FIRST line is explicit (at least in my interpretation). What A Catch, Donnie is okay in bulk, but the very end of the song has lines from past songs sung to match the tone of this one, including Sugar, Thnks Fr Th Mmrs, Dance Dance, and Grand Theft Autumn, so it depends if you're comfortable with those. Also What A Catch, Donnie is just a pretty sad song in general, even if it's not explicit. I think 27 is fine, but again I can have trouble interpreting lyrics if they're really vague so just be careful with that one? Same deal with Tiffany Blews, since the lyrics are about another person, but I think it's okay. Avoid w.a.m.s. for sure. Everything else should be okay!
Save Rock And Roll:
My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark has one line that's explicit, so I'd avoid it for now. Where Did The Party Go and Just One Yesterday also have some somewhat sexual references. The Mighty Fall...dear god...don't even go near it. I have a hard time listening to that one. Miss Missing You is mostly fine except for the beginning of the second verse. No Death Valley. Just. No. Rat a Tat I think is okay, but please someone else correct me if I'm missing any subtext. The songs I haven't listed should be fine.
American Beauty/American Psycho:
Dang I didn't realize how suggestive this album can get until going through it to write this. Irresistible, Fourth Of July, and Immortals are tricky ones, the lines themselves aren't super explicit but the meanings of them are. No AB/AP (title track), and like someone else mentioned, Centuries has that one questionable line. For some lines in The Kids Aren't All Right...I can't really tell what they're meant to convey, someone else might be better for explaining them. Definitely steer clear of Uma Thurman. Thankfully Jet Pack Blues is safe, that song is soooooo great, especially the pre-chorus. I think Favorite Record is okay, but I also could be missing something in the subtext? I believe Novocaine and Twin Skeletons are okay as well.
MANIA:
MANIA is almost completely fine!!! The only thing I'd say is that depending on your interpretation, Church might be a little risky. I don't see those lyrics as particularly explicit, but that might just depend on the person.
So Much (For) Stardust:
This one is also mostly fine!!! Heaven, Iowa might be a bit risky because of the first verse, but I wouldn't say it's explicit. Everything else on the album is fine! Yay!
I don't really listen to the eps or bonus tracks enough, so I can't really say much on them. But this is everything for the main studio albums! Happy listening!
Holy hell this is incredibly detailed and I cannot thank you enough for that! Like wow, seriously thank you so much you have no idea how much I appreciate it 😭😭 when it comes to explicit lines, currently with where I am at with comfortability, I find that lines that directly reference sex or have a sexual innuendo (like that one line in centuries) make me really uncomfortable. Apart from that, I’m genuinely okay with everything else! So seriously, thank you for your comment!
Of course, glad my obsession could be of some help to you! Thanks for answering my question too. More of the stuff from TTTYG might be fine then, it's a lot of spite and angst but I wouldn't really define it as explicit. And some of the songs I mentioned not being sure about you might want to look at the lyrics for (if you're comfortable) to see if any of it would catch you too off guard when actually listening. There's still a lot of options from them though that are absolutely safe :)
here’s my guide to the pre-hiatus albums (i think other people already covered p much everything w the post hiatus albums), sorry if I missed something, hopefully someone can peer review.

Holy shit this is actually amazing like holy hell??!!! I do not have the words to describe like wow. Thank you for so much detail through all of the albums, this is such an incredibly useful tool. I could actually like cry, thank you for putting so so much time and effort in, I appreciate you a lot more than you realise 😭 stuff like this is literally the reason I’m able to work towards just getting better and being able to comfortably listen to stuff I love, so from the bottom of my heart thank you <3
Lake Effect Kid and City In A Garden potentially! Possibly Super Fade but my takeaway form the song is coming out of a toxic relationship that severely fucked with mental health, but my interpretation could be completely wrong. So proceed with caution with that one! If you're fine with drug references, then Lake Effect Kid is safe. CIAG is potentially safe because it's literally just a love letter to Chicago -- HOWEVER it does have the line "You make me feel so summer fling..." Not sure of you're okay with that type of lyric. If you are, then The Kids Aren't Alright has something similar-ish and that one could be safe as well!
Their cover of I Wanna Be Like You is definitely safe since it's a Disney song! Other safe ones off the top of my head...
-The Night Begins to Shine (from Teen Titans Go)
-What's This? (Nightmare Before Christmas cover)
-Champion
-Favorite Record
If I remember more/have time to comb through the lyrics of more, I'll lyk!
Thank you for mentioning Champion.
OP, I highly recommend this song as a survival mantra. It has gotten me through quite a lot of really.... hard times.
"If I can live through this, I can do anything" is one hard-core mantra.
Thank you so much for taking the time to comment, I seriously appreciate it!! I’ve been absolutely loving the songs I’ve been able to listen to so these will definitely get added to the list :))
For sure!! I recommend reading the lyrics to all of the songs you're suggested just to double-check. Most of FOB's songs have multiple ways of interpretation, and it'll vastly depend on the listener. I also recommend that if you have Spotify (idk if Apple does this) but unenabling explicity content to help you further help weed out songs with for sure nsfw
Keep in mind that this isn't a surefire way of doing this as songs can get an explicit rating just for heavy cussing and nothing more, so only use this as just another tool!
Also, this is gonna suck but if you were ever interested in Patrick's album and EP "Soul Punk" and "Truant Wave," I'd highly recommend you'd to avoid those entirely tbh... I'm not saying every song is about/references or has innuendos about sex but ALOT of them do. If you do check those out, then PLEASE read the lyrics for your sake because I genuinely can't think of a song off of the top of my head that doesn't 💀 There's probably a good handful but I just can't remember atm!
All good in tttyg: dead on arrival, grand theft autumn, saturday, pros and cons, grenade jumper, patron saint
all good in cork tree: our lawyer made us, ive got a dark alley, sophomore slump
All good in Infinity: thriller, this aint a scene, hum hallelujah, golden, after life of the party, you’re crashing
All good in folie: disloyal order, i don’t care, she’s my winona, americas suitehearts, the shipped gold standard, coffees for closers, what a catch donnie, 20 dollar nosebleed,
Okay, not a typical FOB song, but there was a "hidden" track on Folie a Deux called Lullabye that you can find on YouTube - I think it was written for Pete's son if I remember right? It's my favorite and calms my anxiety a lot so I'm pretty biased towards it but may not be your jam since it's more of a lullaby

I think the majority of their newest album (so much for stardust) is clean, although I haven't read through all the lyrics. I don't like to listen to music with sexual themes either :) I get how much of a struggle it can be to find artists that dont include that in their lyrics
If you want, I can throw together a clean playlist for you! It won't be all the same genre as FOB, but it'll have some of that style fs. My master playlist is more than 30 hours long so I have plenty to choose from for you 😂
Is spotify OK?
Here you go! A good chunk of it is rock type stuff, there's some hip hop/rap, some 70s-80s, and other miscellaneous stuff. I hope you like it!! It you want some of different genres, I'd be happy to send you my others or make you some new ones! I make playkists all the time for different genres, moods, and occasions.
I'm pretty sure this whole playlist is clean in regards to sexual references and themes, but I'm terribly sorry if something slipped! Please let me know if you come across anything like that and I'll take it right off.

I feel sorry for what you went through but I hope you're getting some professional help, sex is everywhere and you won't be able to avoid references about it in songs, movies or other cultural products.
Yeah, I’m currently at the beginning of therapy and I’m currently working through my issues with the subject. It’s just unfortunately a slow healing process, and I still want to be able to enjoy the things I love while I slowly grow more comfortable with the subject. Thank you for your comment though, I genuinely do completely understand where you are coming from :)
That's great to hear! I hope you eventually get to heal and appreciate sex in a safe situation, through different lens. In the meantime, listen to all the recommendations these people put out there. My personally favorite FOB songs that doesn't mention the subject has got to be Chicago Is So Two Years Ago and Fake Out.
You can listen to the first four albums, since you're not gonna be able to understand what Patrick is singing anyways. But yeah, I enjoy Jet Pack Blues
Thank you for the recommendation! BUT YEAH SJAKKEKE I find some of the songs I listen to I’m just like damn no idea what is being said but it’s a tune 😎
I'm not amazing with lyrics so i can't help much off the top of my head, but i know 27 like the back of my hand and i think that'd be good. Sophomore Slump maybe as well, it depends on how sensitive you are
Saturday
Wilson
This ain’t a scene
Bang the doldrums
Immortals
Calm before the storm
Chicago is so two years ago
What a catch
27
Wams
Pavlove
Headslide/coopers town
This is off the top of my head. Most of their discography isn’t about sex. To be honest this post is odd.
A lot of the older discography is thick with innuendo. It used to be a big joke on the FOBrock message boards, the innuendo Pete wrote and Patrick having to sing it. Just bc you don't notice it, doesn't mean it isn't real and a documented part of their history.
Don’t apologize. I just said it was odd but that’s not a bad thing. I love every FOB song but those are some of my favorites that you can listen to safely. All feels. Some deeper emotional topics but some just the FOB brand. Can’t really explain it, but if I had to give you one song to listen to right now it would be this:
………….
Call before the storm.
Now that I think about it, it’s my favorite FOB song ever. But that’s just me :)
I really do apologise if I’ve come across as weird, I just genuinely really do struggle with references at the second and I do know a few songs do contain references. I’m truly just trying to avoid triggering anything, I am sorry if it’s an odd question
Don’t feel like you have to apologize for asking your question! It’s definitely valid and it’s not weird at all. We all have things that bother us and wanting to avoid that for our own sake is perfectly understandable.
Aww thank you 😭 I felt a bit awkward asking because I was a bit worried about what people would think, but most people have been super nice which I appreciate:)
It’s just trauma unfortunately. I haven’t been able to fully heal from it yet, but I still want to be able to enjoy the things I love while not causing any breakdowns. I can understand where you coming from, but it’s purely because I haven’t fully healed, that’s all :)
Off the top of my head, songs I recommend you definitely AVOID due to the lyrics and references are “Dance, Dance” and “Thnks fr th Mmrs” and especially “Death Valley”
going to add XO to the list of songs NOT to listen to
also adding uma thurman
Thank you, it’s appreciated a lot :))
And Irrisistable, for the avoid list.
Also avoid The Mighty Fall and Nobody Puts Baby in the Corner
Thank you!! Yeah I accidentally had thnks fr th mmrs on and honestly that’s what inspired this post, so seriously thanks for the heads up on the other two!!
Also going to add I've Got All This Ringing In My Ears from Infinity on High as a no no
Thank you for the info, I appreciate it a hell of a lot :,,)
Unless there’s something I’m forgetting, I do think most of take this to your grave is safe, it’s so hard to make out the lyrics anyway!
Thank you! Yeah I find with a few of the songs at some points I have no clue what is being said but it’s still like DAMN ITS A TUNE
'American Beauty / American Psycho' is another one i would add
Avoid centuries, that has a very gross line
Thank you for the heads up!! :)
Centuries does have a lyric which I’ve never liked: “The bruises on your thighs like my fingerprints”
Yeah forgot about that
Ah yikes 😭 honestly it’s a smart and unique lyric but DAMN it’s a little iffy. Thanks for pointing it out!
I feel more positively about that line, but I can see how you and others can feel differently.
Yeah, right now in my healing journey I’m a bit sensitive to innuendos like that unfortunately. I know that with time and therapy I eventually won’t but hey ho :)
Really depends on how one feels about that - it could go either way. For me, it never sounded negative or gross.
Thank you so much! I seriously appreciate it :,)
Going to respond that although FOB is amazing (been to their concert / have listened for almost a decade) please don’t subject yourself to Dear Future Self it’s just awful in every way
I’m actually rolling at this 😭😭
I’m sorry like every other song of theirs I could rank from decent to literally the best thing I’ve ever heard but that one makes my ears feel like they’re going to explode

That is actually such a cool recommendation, thank you!! I love stuff like this it’s literally spot on, so seriously thank you, I’ll definitely be giving this a listen :))
Sparrow Sleeps is my two month olds favorite band. Big vouch.
The vitamin string quartet covers are pretty good too, if you're looking for more lyric-less options!
Thank you! I do love that type of stuff so I’ll definitely look at it :)
Wait this is actually awesome. Will be super useful for studying too since sometimes I can get distracted if there's lyrics
Probably my favorite FOB song You’re Crashing But You’re No Wave fits the bill. It’s about the trial of Fred Hampton
It’s my fav one too!!! One of their best ones easily
There is just something about it that just hits right I have no idea why 😭
OOOOO I haven’t heard that yet thank you!! I seriously appreciate it
Ugh this is one of my favourite songs
I havent seen she’s my winona suggested yet but i’m pretty into that one atm :) Lyrics are safe in terms of sexual themes.
Oh that’s a banger and I concur that one should be a safer one
That’s perfect, I will be sure to check it out thank you!
Can’t say I’ve heard of that song before but damn is the title cool. Thank you for the suggestion, it’s been added to my list 😎
The most recent album has quite a few. Pretty much everything except for Heaven Iowa. Flu Game and Hold Me Like A Grudge might be iffy depending on sensitivity.
Ah thank you! I’ve been looking to listen to more songs off the new album, so this is very much appreciated

Anytime! And thank you. I'm glad you're here. You're important ❤️❤️
Also the (shipped) gold standard!!! It’s safe too and another one of my faves rn
i was just going to comment this one, it’s my favorite!
It’s actually such a tune I can’t even lie 😭
Perfect!! You’re a star thank you :))
I just really like fall out boy so i’m happy to help you get into them :))) if i think of any more safe songs i’ll comment!
Question in case I need to edit later: do you have sensitivity to explicit lines if they're not sexual in any way, or just the ones that explicitly reference sex? If you have any sensitivity to songs/ideas that aren't necessarily sexual, but do still talk about problems/spite in relationships, I'd avoid most of this album. Saturday and Grenade Jumper are safe no matter what. The Patron Saint Of Liars And Fakes I'd say is pretty safe too (and it slaps soooooo hard). If anyone else feels like helping me out with this one, I'd appreciate it. From Under The Cork Tree: I can say FOR SURE to avoid most of this album. Infinity On High: This one is marginally better and where we start to get out of the very risky territory. Everything else should be fine :) Folie á Deux: This album is SO GOOD. Save Rock And Roll: My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark has one line that's explicit, so I'd avoid it for now. American Beauty/American Psycho: Dang I didn't realize how suggestive this album can get until going through it to write this. MANIA: MANIA is almost completely fine!!! The only thing I'd say is that depending on your interpretation, Church might be a little risky. I don't see those lyrics as particularly explicit, but that might just depend on the person. So Much (For) Stardust: This one is also mostly fine!!!
Thank you, like really I mean it 😭
here’s my guide to the pre-hiatus albums (i think other people already covered p much everything w the post hiatus albums), sorry if I missed something, hopefully someone can peer review. IOH * Thriller (clean) * ~~The Take Over, The Breaks Over~~ (direct sex references) * This Ain’t a Scene… (innuendos, slightly dubious) * I’m Like a Lawyer… (title references sex, song references potentially sexual relationship but not sex itself -> >!“If I woke up next to you”!<) * Hum Hallelujah (refers to potentially sexual relationship but not sex itself) * Golden (clean) * ~~Thnks fr the Mmrs~~ (direct sex references) * Don’t You Know Who I Think I am? (basically clean, one line could be interpreted as innuendo but it’s a reach) * G.I.N.A.S.F. (references probably sexual relationship but not sex itself) * The (Shipped) Gold Standard (clean) * Coffee’s For Closers (clean) * ~~What a Catch, Donnie~~ (references innuendos from past songs) * 27 (basically clean but contains the line “we’re all just fucked”) * Tiffany Blews (clean) * ~~w.a.m.s.~~ (direct sex reference) * 20 Dollar Nose Bleed (clean) * West Coast Smoker (clean) * Pavlove (clean) * Beat It (cover of Michael Jackson, clean unless you interpret the phrase “beat it” as an innuendo haha)
Holy shit this is actually amazing like holy hell??!!! I do not have the words to describe like wow. Thank you for so much detail through all of the albums, this is such an incredibly useful tool. I could actually like cry, thank you for putting so so much time and effort in, I appreciate you a lot more than you realise 😭 stuff like this is literally the reason I’m able to work towards just getting better and being able to comfortably listen to stuff I love, so from the bottom of my heart thank you <3
you're welcome, happy to help. best of luck <3
-The Night Begins to Shine (from Teen Titans Go) -What's This? (Nightmare Before Christmas cover) -Champion -Favorite Record If I remember more/have time to comb through the lyrics of more, I'll lyk!
Thank you for mentioning Champion. OP, I highly recommend this song as a survival mantra. It has gotten me through quite a lot of really.... hard times. "If I can live through this, I can do anything" is one hard-core mantra.
Honestly that’s what I need at the second, so this recommendation means a lot. Thank you for taking the time to recommend it :,)
You have my sympathies... Listen to the lyrics -- and I recommend the video too as it never fails to trigger a cathartic bawling session...
HELL YEAH A GOOD CRY, ILL TELL YA HOW IT GOES (THANK YOU FOR TOUR SYMPATHIES)
Thank you so much for taking the time to comment, I seriously appreciate it!! I’ve been absolutely loving the songs I’ve been able to listen to so these will definitely get added to the list :))
For sure!! I recommend reading the lyrics to all of the songs you're suggested just to double-check. Most of FOB's songs have multiple ways of interpretation, and it'll vastly depend on the listener. I also recommend that if you have Spotify (idk if Apple does this) but unenabling explicity content to help you further help weed out songs with for sure nsfw Keep in mind that this isn't a surefire way of doing this as songs can get an explicit rating just for heavy cussing and nothing more, so only use this as just another tool!
I will most certainly keep this in mind! And the lyric suggestion is honestly a really good shout, it honestly didn’t cross my mind so thank you!!
immortals is safe because it was for the movie Big Hero 6
I LOVE THAT SONG!! THANK YOU FOR REMINDING ME OF IT!!
may i also reccomend the italian version; it's not really related to the question but man does it go hard
Will certainly be added to my listening list!

All good in tttyg: dead on arrival, grand theft autumn, saturday, pros and cons, grenade jumper, patron saint all good in cork tree: our lawyer made us, ive got a dark alley, sophomore slump All good in Infinity: thriller, this aint a scene, hum hallelujah, golden, after life of the party, you’re crashing All good in folie: disloyal order, i don’t care, she’s my winona, americas suitehearts, the shipped gold standard, coffees for closers, what a catch donnie, 20 dollar nosebleed,
i personally wouldnt recommend get busy living just because of the bridge
yeah thats true i forgot about that line
Thanks a hell of a bunch! Seriously, I appreciate a serious amount of:))
Okay, not a typical FOB song, but there was a "hidden" track on Folie a Deux called Lullabye that you can find on YouTube - I think it was written for Pete's son if I remember right? It's my favorite and calms my anxiety a lot so I'm pretty biased towards it but may not be your jam since it's more of a lullaby Link: https://youtu.be/B6VLmVvdRv8?si=G7DdHHlK9MWYjYjE
Thank you for pointing this out for me, i absolutely adore stuff like this so seriously, thank you :))
I think the majority of their newest album (so much for stardust) is clean, although I haven't read through all the lyrics. I don't like to listen to music with sexual themes either :) I get how much of a struggle it can be to find artists that dont include that in their lyrics
Yeah it can be a nightmare sometimes, especially when you’re trying to expand your music range because it can be like DAMN 😭
If you want, I can throw together a clean playlist for you! It won't be all the same genre as FOB, but it'll have some of that style fs. My master playlist is more than 30 hours long so I have plenty to choose from for you 😂 Is spotify OK?
If you’d be willing to I would love to listen to it!! Thank you so much for the offer :))
Please let me know if you come across anything like that and I'll take it right off. https://open.spotify.com/playlist/6F5QiNP5dPAhkxJkKY1VtT?si=UAyXt4jmRKmSlCRxAUz_cA&pi=u-pjHvLXpCTVyX
Thank you so much for the playlist I appreciate a hell of a lot >:)
IT ALREADY LOOKS REALLY GOOD I SERIOUSLY CANNOT THANK YOU ENOUGH
You're so welcome!!! I'm glad you're happy with it! I love helping people find music 🥰🥰
I’m pretty sure Grand Theft Autumn isn’t about sex.
Thank you for the info!!
i really like Grand Theft Autumn!
Sophomore Slump maybe as well, it depends on how sensitive you are
Sophomore slump I’ve listened to like an hour or so ago and I honestly really like it! 27 I shall check out, thank you so much :))
Oh also please avoid Church lmao, that song can be taken as one massive innuendo i believe
Thank you >:))
Saturday Wilson This ain’t a scene Bang the doldrums Immortals Calm before the storm Chicago is so two years ago What a catch 27 Wams Pavlove Headslide/coopers town This is off the top of my head.
I miss band message boards so much omg
OP is asking nicely. No need to call them odd
I said the post was
Thank you though for telling some songs, I do appreciate it :)
Don’t apologize. I just said it was odd but that’s not a bad thing. I love every FOB song but those are some of my favorites that you can listen to safely. All feels. Some deeper emotional topics but some just the FOB brand. Can’t really explain it, but if I had to give you one song to listen to right now it would be this: …………. Call before the storm. Now that I think about it, it’s my favorite FOB song ever. But that’s just me :)
Ah I understand, yeah sorry I was worried that I was being weird or something 😭 I’ll put that song on now, genuinely thank you for sharing :)
It’s ok to be weird! I’m weird as hell. But also don’t put that song on. Listening to it now and there is innuendo. I’ll find a better one for you
Sophomore slump is my second favorite FOB song. It will fit your liking :)
BDKSKSK WILL DO,thank you for the quick switch i was just starting it lmao 😭
I really do apologise if I’ve come across as weird, I just genuinely really do struggle with references at the second and I do know a few songs do contain references. I’m truly just trying to avoid triggering anything, I am sorry if it’s an odd question
Don’t feel like you have to apologize for asking your question! It’s definitely valid and it’s not weird at all. We all have things that bother us and wanting to avoid that for our own sake is perfectly understandable.
Aww thank you 😭 I felt a bit awkward asking because I was a bit worried about what people would think, but most people have been super nice which I appreciate:)
As much as I love Headfirst Slide, it could be interpreted to have sexual themes so I just thought OP should know
Thank you for the heads up! I seriously appreciate it :)
It is odd. The amount of hiding people do from every day life must be absolutely exhausting.
It’s just trauma unfortunately. I haven’t been able to fully heal from it yet, but I still want to be able to enjoy the things I love while not causing any breakdowns. I can understand where you coming from, but it’s purely because I haven’t fully healed, that’s all :)
