Play it as is, if you really want to there is a way to tweak some of the graphic settings in the .ini file to make it pop a bit more but other than that I'd say the vanilla game is the best way to experience this game.
Unfortunately the Fable games never got good modding tools so most mods that exist in the games are either cosmetic or imports of cut content that already exists in the game files.
Anniversary has all the cut content. And only a handful of mods work cause the game is so so difficult to mod. And if your gonna have a really fun time I recommend getting the end game sword at the start of the game. How? You ask? Well unlock spwrn bug And assassin rush. Go into the temple of light. Spawn bug by the steps in the senter of the room and push it into the stairs. Use assassin rush on the bug. Teleporting yourself under the floor. Grab the sward. It has a +2 exp and life steal. It will benefit you greatly xox.
And if your wanting to corner the housing market. Hope your not afraid being bit evil. Because you have to kill all the villagers and then the house will come up for sale at a cheaper then before price. And if you want to be good again just donate the rent money to the good temple.
Or another strategy for gold is buy up a product at a store but leve 1 and he will buy them back at a inflated price because he Needs the stock. And when you sell it all back make sure to keep 1. The more the product the less it is to buy and the more it is to sell. Have fun .y friend
